Summer Adventure 3 is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun is Magnifying I just got done playing Summer Adventure 1 and 2 and was happy to see 3 this morning. I love these type of games. Yes the magnifying glass will be your best friend in this game but thankfully you have one to use. I do have a question though. What is it with the butterfly flying by all of the time? I wish you could get extra points or a surprise for clicking on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A GREAT RELAXING HOG For all you HO fanatics....this game is so relaxing with very pretty graphics and simple mini games in between. I love when Big Fish puts these kinds of games on the site. I wish there were more. So tired of playing dark dreary games.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT FOR WHEN THE BRAIN NEEDS A BREAK This is the third installment of Summer Adventure. I have them all and they are relaxing and enjoyable, especially on those days when I am feeling brain dead. At first, I thought I was playing the same edition as the previous one because some scenes looked familiar, but with a little variation. That is a good memory test right there. You have the choice of timed or untimed. There is one Zoom scene within a scene as well as a zoom magnifying glass to help you find some very well hidden items. The zoom magnifying glass is in the lower right above the Menu. I needed to use it often. There is the 3 star indicator after you have completed a scene. I generally only get one star and am assuming you can gain more if you replay a scene for better time, but I'm not into all that because there will be different objects to find and will end up taking me just as much time as the first round. I've attempted it in the past and it is difficult to get 3 stars and is very taxing. Hints are unlimited. I always like to find all of the items without a hint, and it did take me some time to complete scenes because some objects are so well concealed. It is a challenge. Between each scene is an enjoyable puzzle such as connecting pipes, Match 3 and jigsaws which can be skipped. It gave my eyes a break. The music loop is very repetitious and is just the thing to put me over the top. I was hearing that tune well after I exited the game. At least they are both different for the hidden object scenes and the puzzles. And of course, you can mute it if you like. I personally like the challenge of listening to it over and over just to see how much I can take. It is a true test of tolerance. This is a fun game....not stressful....no running back and forth. It is a game you can just sit back, relax, take your time and enjoy the adventure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Summer Adventure 3 Sorry BFG, you can't fool us old gamers. This game is a poor substitute for the great Big City games. I bought it because I am so hungry for a new Big City game again. I've played all the old ones about 3 times. Naturally I'm disappointed. If you have customers that have never played The old Big City games they like might this game.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from IT'S GONNA BE A LONG SUMMER I have to admit, this edition is a vast improvement over the last two Summer Adventure games, as far as graphics are concerned. The scenes themselves look very familiar, honestly, I think they rehashed the foreground scenes from the first two games and only changed some of the background scenery. The Hidden Object Scenes can be played in a Timed or Relaxed Mode, and you can earn up to 3 Stars, according to the amount of time it takes, but it doesn't seem to penalize you for misclicks or using the Hint feature. This is an old-fashioned Listed item find Hidden Object style and each scene has a zoom zone that contains the final 2 objects. They added glint sparkles to indicate where the zoom zone is located, so at least they are trying to improve. The items to find are not proportionate, a tie may be normally sized sitting next to garlic the size of a basketball. You can improve your star rating by replaying the scenes, but the objects to find are different each time you play. After each Hidden Object Scene, there is a simplistic mini-game available, such as a 24 piece Jigsaw Puzzle with no rotating feature, a game of Pipes where you click to rotate square tiles to connect a path of pipes, a group of 2 or more identical image Match 3 game or a word search variation with fruit images instead of actual words, which had to selected from beginning to end, even though selecting it from end to beginning is the same thing. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not your Big City Adventure game A poor substitute for Big City games, but I guess if you never played those games, you would be OK with this one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Like playing Big City Adventures Need to make objects a little bigger and brighter as they are hard to see. Need to increase the speed of the game. Puzzle needs to a few more pieces.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for the older folks I had a very hard time finding some or most of the hidden object they were hidden in places making it very hard to see. They blend in with the surroundings. I had a headache just straining my eyes to see. I would not purchase this game other than that the puzzles were great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good for the eyes I really like games like this one because there are several different types of games to play. I liked all of them, but the reason I didn't buy it was the HO scenes. If your eyes aren't strained when you begin to play, they definitely will be after you work your way through a few of the HO scenes. They use the usual trick of making the hidden object the same color as the background. Many objects are nearly impossible to see, even if they aren't tiny. What really put me off was that sometimes when the "hint" showed me where the object was located, I still couldn't see it - and my eyes are very good with no problems at all. Hiding the objects went to the extreme and into the "this is no fun" category after my eyes were bugging out of my head trying to find something. I needed eye drops after the trial version was over. Otherwise, I would have gotten the game with a coupon.
