Argonauts Agency: Chair of Hephaestus Collector's Edition is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice game, hours of enterainment It's nice to have a time management game where you can set a "queue" of tasks if the paths are cleared. About half way through, and it's provided hours of entertainment so far. The graphics are simple, but clean and there's no latency. Highly recommend for a fan of time management games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful TM Game! I'm a big TM fan and have played all the Argonauts games. This is the best in the series, in my opinion. The graphics are excellent and well done and the music is incredible. As one reviewer mentioned, I usually turn the sound off and listen to my own playlist, but the music in this game is so soothing and relaxing, I just love it. There's no real innovative game play here, if you've played any TM games, then you know what to expect. What sets it apart from other TM games is just how well made it is. The pacing of each level is spot on, the animation is smooth, the challenge level is just right. This is really a good game and I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TM Game Huge fan of TM games and this one is the best in quite awhile. Lots of action, characters, different obstacles, game modes and power ups. On my 2nd time playing and it's even more fun than the 1st.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really love this one! We have to help Pelias get out of Hephaestus' chair. We do this by getting through super fun tasks and challenging game play. With 50+ levels there is lots to do. I love the characters and give this one an A for its stunning graphics. Tks for a great new game Big Fish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too kidsy I've generally enjoyed the game, but the level of challenge was subpar compared to other games (prior to these I've played VIking Brothers and Viking Sisters). Visuals are also better in the other ones, but it was a fun experience, especially with additional challenges.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Felt like something is missing I did enjoy this game... it just felt like something was missing. The story-line was there, but there wasn't much to it. These are good games... but they're not as good as the Hercules series. Also, this game gave me the impression that there was something more coming... if there is, they must be saving it for the next game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Typical Very predictable TM game, with not a lot of challenge. I had no trouble getting 3 stars on on the Hard setting. My ratings were high based solely on the fantastic graphics and really lovely music, which I normally mute but was glad I didn't on this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from That timer is tough! Nice Game anyway This series has been going for a while and the first offerings I found a bit repetitive and boring. They have upped the game since those days and this offering is very good. It is a just a VERY standard gather resource game. Wood, gold, food, stone, defeat enemies and build buildings according to the tasks. One thing about this game is that it is not as linear as you think. You don't have to clear the road in its order and can duck up further ahead (if allowed) to get things going quicker. There are portals that require opening, bridges to build, gold from piles and food from bushes and wood from trees you must do yourself as well as the buildings. The timer on this one is TOUGH, but there is a relax mode and a hard mode. I found myself repeating often just on normal...until..I gave in and looked at the very good guide. DUH! Its accurate and worth following to get there. (that's when I remembered you could move past items sometimes to get the one you want) There is a bonus chest extra that you get every few completed levels, faster workers, % off cost of things etc. Its a lucky guess of three. There is also a speed up on the game bar too. There is not much new here in this offering, and other resource buildings like libraries are only just starting to appear after quite a few levels, but with 50 available and then an extra chapter for this CE version..the game is filling in nicely for variety It has wallpapers and art, and does therefore qualify as a CE. Not the most awe inspiring game but a really decent offering which is nice to say of a series I disliked when it was first developed. It will satisfy your TM needs. Enjoy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice little Time Management game I enjoyed this game in it's simplicity. Nothing really complicated to do and the levels end nicely. I like the fact there is an untimed mode and you can relax and play without worrying about a clock. Graphics are typical and average for this type of game and were very colorful. I don't know about any storyline because I usually skip through those cinematics so no comment there. I played the demo and would buy this except for the fact it is a supposed collectors edition and I'm not going to waste my money or credits. Otherwise, this is a nice fun, relaxing time killer that I think a lot of people will enjoy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from SAME GAME~DIFFERENT STORY~STILL NO WHERE NEAR CE WORTHY I'm still not a fan of the Argonauts Agency because, like most games offered by this developer, nothing really changes. The storylines only change slightly from game to game, the graphics are old-school, bland, colorless and cartoon in nature, the Time Management tasks are so "average" and mundane, and even more importantly, there's nothing about this game that is CE worthy! You can play in an Untimed, Normal or Hard difficulty mode, and it allows you to switch back and forth easily before the start of each level with an icon located above the levels. I will admit that this is a great feature because sometimes it's helpful to play the first go-round in an untimed mode to figure out what the requirements are, such as what materials are needed for each task and in which order to queue them, and then play the level again in a normal or hard mode, especially when a TM game requires a lot of strategies. (but then again, this one doesn't really require using a whole lot of strategy to earn 3 stars lol) This is just an Average-Joe, resource collection Time Management game with the usual tasks of Building Farms for Food, Sawmills for Wood, Gold Mines for cold-hard Cash, Quarries for Stone and Markets for Trading Food for specific materials such as Stone or Gold. There are the usual nearly instantaneous Berry Bushes for a renewable food source, huge loaves of bread that in theory would scale to weigh about 10 pounds, the usual path blockers of wood, boulders, puddles, holes, and random caches of gold coins...whoo-hoo! I've struck it rich!! This game is just not worthy of Collector's Edition status. There are 10 pages of Concept Art pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, and 29 Achievement Trophies to earn, and a handful of additional levels or "campaigns" as they are referred to. At least they decided to include a Strategy Guide for the first time in this series. I find it ironic that a recent HOPA release included a ton of CE quality extras, including Morphing Objects and a Bonus Chapter, as a Standard Edition, because BF didn't think it offered enough bling to qualify as a CE, yet they offer these TM games as CE's when all they have are cartoon concept art pics, a few music soundtracks, and 5 additional levels??? That makes absolutely no sense! It's just not a CE worthy game, there aren't any Morphs, Puzzle Pieces or Collectibles offered to offset the price difference.
