Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really enjoy the Hiddenverse series I own several of the Hiddenverse games and really enjoy all of them so I was very happy to see a new one offered today. There's no need for me to cover a lot of the detail since others have already done that. I will say one thing though - like some other reviewers, I was also surprised at all of the spelling errors. That's been described as irritating or hilarious - but no matter what your reaction is, the game is still terrific. One reason I like this series so much is that I really like clutter-style games and Hiddenverse offers other things along the way - not just clutter. It was pretty much an instant buy for me once I played the trial version for a few minutes and I haven't been disappointed at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thank You!!! Hiddenverse is my favorite series for relaxing games. This one doesn't disappoint. Great game play with new challenges and twists. Same beautiful graphics. Great for beginners of hidden object games. And great for seniors with poor eyesight. One review mentioned that the developers needed spellcheck. I haven't seen any misspelled words yet. I'll be playing this game over and over again. Thank you for my newest favorite.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun clutter game I'm terrible at these sorts of matching games, so I really appreciate being able to adjust the difficulty level whenever I need to do so. Instead of becoming frustrating the games stays fun to play. Can be glitchy but restarting always solved the problem. definitely worth trying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from hiddenverse-witchs-tales-3 Game is fun and is the usual hiddenverse. Only thing is the timer cannot be turned off - you can check the box but it still times you. Challenging to figure out what two things combine to form the answer to quizzes. Fun times.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from IT'S A GUD THENG THEES PRINCEZ HAV ALICE SO'S THEY CAN MERRY THERE PRINCEZES~i should try spellcheck & so should these devs! I love the Hiddenverse series and I did purchase this game before trying the demo because they are always fun to play, and I think the storylines are pretty good too. They do seem to be getting really easy lately, but you can always switch to the Hard Times (I wonder if they thought that title thru?) After 10 Hiddenverse games, and several other releases, you'd think Shaman Games would invest in a Spellcheck program, or at least invest in an English speaking beta tester because there are so many spelling and grammar mistakes right from the start! Even the Menu Tab is misspelled and just says ENU! Hiddenverse: Rise of Ariadna has 3 difficulty modes to choose from, a Timeless mode, a Normal mode, and a Hard mode which gives you 20% less time than the Normal Mode. I've only played the demo portion of the game, but I found that there was plenty of time allotted in the Normal Mode. You can earn up to 3 Stars per level and the levels can be replayed, After completing the Clutter level you will use your earned Stars to upgrade your own Mansion. Some of the items you buy require 2-3 upgrades to complete, others require a single purchase. As you complete the Mansion upgrades, you are rewarded with Puzzle Pieces. You will need to earn all Puzzle pieces and the puzzle must be assembled before you can progress to the next Chapter, so you don't really have a choice when it comes to upgrading the Mansion, but I actually liked this feature. I would like to see the puzzles become a little more challenging, perhaps several smaller pieces rather than 10 large chunks of fragments? The object of this game is to remove items from a heaping pile of junk, but the styles change with each level. Sometimes you have to remove Matching Pairs, Triple Pairs, Big & Small Matches (1 big object and it's identical match in a small version) Half Matches (2 fragments that go together) Black & White (1 object in color its mate colorless) Clutter games that have one or two piles of clutter requiring you to drag the items one by one, from each heaping pile until you find and remove all matching objects. There are several newer styles available such as finding objects that match Silhouetted Shapes (and Silhouetted Shape finds in multiple's to fill the shapes) Triple or Double Matches that constantly move around and a clever level that shows two Cards at a time and you must select the only item that is shown on each card (and levels where you find the one item on both cards that have 1 black and 1 white identical object) or Dynamite which will explode when you click on it, which reshuffles all the clutter, this can help sometimes, other times it just buries items you need. There are also Related Pairs, choosing the item that doesn't have the same color or pictured item as shown, and Listed Items that are removed in pairs. They have added Battle Modes where you have to make matches faster than your opponent, a Battle Mode on Cards where you make a match of the single item on the left card that matches the object on the middle card before your opponent finds and matches the single object on his right side card with the object in the middle card you share. They have added an Associated Pair type where you must find 2 different objects that are Associated with the pictured items (oil + lock = a Rusty Lock pictured) this level was a lot more difficult than I had anticipated! The Challenge levels have returned, after playing four Clutter Levels, the 5th Level allows you to play a multi-game level. You can play these challenges in any order, (and you can replay them as often as you want, and each time the variations are slightly different) which includes a Mini-Game such as a "Pipes" variation (rotate pipes to make a continuous path from point A to B) A Pair Match game where you flip over 2 cards at a time to try to find Matching Pairs and a Match 3 game with various strengths of Bombs and TNT earned on the board for making large matches of 4 or more. The graphics could be a little less bland, and the objects a tad smaller to make it more challenging, but it's still fun and relaxing. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hate the cursor. Game is fun but the large clunky cursor is a deal breaker for me. Seriously, in this day and age you can't give us a choice to use that or our system cursor?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute...but... I can't see any reason to buy this game if you have any other Hiddenverse games, as this varies very little from the others. You really only need one of them. All of the other games have exactly the same things in them, except for the addition of one level where you have to pick the thing that is unlike the others on the card. They have also added a very annoying rating of your character after the end of each scenario, whereby your picture moves along the line of other players, to be ranked....it's slow and irritating. That being said, if you do not own any previous versions, then this will be a fun addition to your clutter games. The English translation is hilarious!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could the curser be any bigger I played the demo and it was ok. The reason I did not purchase this game and the past one was the size of the curser. I feel like I am dragging a big old shoe around. It is an inch in size. Just my thing. Also I did not like that the game made you buy upgrades or do a puzzle if you didn't want to at that time. Should be an option to do later.
