Farm Life is rated 2.2 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really liked this game! I love match 3 games and I am playing the relaxed version of it. I love building the farm, the characters are cute but I have to finish to find out if they outsmart the developer. The power ups are really good but you do have limited diamonds to purchase them. They co-inside with building parts of the farm. I figured out some of the new components - such as the colored locks. At first I just blew them up. I get it now! LOL! I live at the Jersey Shore so I will be playing this terrific game all weekend instead of sitting in traffic!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun game except for the talking at the beginning I am playing the relaxed mode which is getting harder all the time but I like the match 3 part of the game.. which is good for me. I had some time figuring out how to use the bonuses. I think it is worth giving it a try for sure

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty nice first of all i want to say that the game has a relaxed mode which allows you to play using unlimited moves the encouraging sounds are a little bit annoying but i turned off the sounds in the game anyway as i like to listen to music while playing i enjoyed the story and the building mode, it gave me a purpose to play the game and i liked that you could blow some of the special bombs regardless of the tile you were using to combine the move all in all a 4 out of 5

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It was ok This is your typical M3 game, really. It claims to have farm-building aspects but not really. You play enough M3 to get diamonds to rebuild bits and pieces but you don't get to choose where they go or what they look like so they are just rewards for passing a level. There's a lot of story, most of which is pretty generic. But you can't skip it. So there's a lot of clicking. You can play a relaxed mode which really drops the level of challenge cos you just keep playing until you are done. I don't know how tough the Limited Move option is cos I didn't play it. To sum up, it's an ok game but there's much better out there.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Boring I really don't care about the story and don't appreciate having to keep clicking "Next" to get through it in order to play. The match 3 part is ok, but I don't need someone telling me how well I'm doing after each and every move. Once the round is over, it takes forever to finalize the score and move on. Boring.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ho hum I enjoy Match 3 games. Like with mobile devices, I don't like games that offer in play purchases to be able to continue when free lives are spent or extra bombs or such are needed to help clear the board. When I spend money to buy a game, I have no intention of spending more to pay for the privilege of something I've already paid for. I only played the free trial, and barely managed to stick with it that long. Graphics not impressive. I don't pay attention to music or storyline; I'm just there to "build the town". I am taking a pass on this one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ALMOST... (just a few tweaks needed) I really thought I was going to love this Match 3 game which had a Farm builder aspect. Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros for MY personal preferences, but if you're okay with a Limited Moves Match 3 game with a few mechanical flaws, I think most will enjoy Farm Life. You can play in a Relaxed or Limited Moves Match 3 Mode to earn up to 3 Stars which converts to cash, allowing you to rebuild dearly deceased, Aunt Langley's Farm. I know I've said this several times before, but a Limited Moves Mode Match 3 game is the least preferred type by 90% of Match 3 fans. Why wouldn't you add a Limited Time Mode rather than exclude the largest chunk of Match 3 fans? (please the masses, not just a select group) The goal for each level is shown at the top of the screen and usually includes making matches of specific colored Vegetables, as well as uncovering and making matches over all of the Glass-covered cells, and occasionally dropping specified items off the board by making matches under them. There are the usual Obstacles of Wooden Crates and Weeds that require adjacent matches to break them, and Colored Locks requiring matches of the same color to remove them. Eventually, you will come across Portals that will warp you to other locations on the board. Large Matches will earn Power-ups on the board, such as Horizontal and Vertical Line-Busters, Small Bombs to destroy a 1 Tile Radius, Electrified Veggies that destroy all Tiles of the Same Color matched with and a Basket of Vegetables that destroys several tiles across the board. As you make money playing the Match 3 Levels, you can repair and rebuild the Farm. You will earn Diamonds for each upgrade that allows you to purchase Bonuses in amounts of 1-5-10 packs, to use at your discretion. The Glove allows you to remove a single Tile of Choice. The Tornado will Reshuffle the tiles on the entire board, and the Fireworks will remove all Tiles of the Color you choose. Here are the features that made this a no-go for me: * The grammar is horrible and there are a ton of typos. *Hearing constant words of encouragement repeated after nearly every move was super annoying. *After completing the level I'm forced to wait an eternity for the computer to play thru all of my remaining moves and consequent power-ups. *The game mechanics are often slow and take a while to respond, especially when clicking on icon tabs. *I ran into a couple of glitches (tile regeneration issue & my computer's task menu on the bottom of my screen didn't automatically collapse, making it impossible to click on my purchased power-ups because they were located behind my taskbar and every time I clicked on them, it would exit me out of the game because I was actually clicking the taskbar.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not the worst but close The idea behind the game was good. A competition to grow the biggest pumpkin- the winner gets the farm. We pretty much know the young lady is going to win from the beginning. The actual game play was dull. Many of the levels took forever simply because there were so many different types of pieces on the board it took time to just make a match. Every level is simply match three with nothing to break it up. A mini game or two would have been a welcome break. Seemed to take forever to accumulate enough money and diamonds. If you actually bought a power-up- there went your few diamonds.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Slow transitions The game is very slow going from level to level, which takes away from fun factor. You wait to long to continue play I played the free play game and would not buy this game because its to slow.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Boring in the extreme The "story" goes on forever and ever with NO WAY to skip it. Like other's have pointed out there is no timed version. Only the number of moves. Once you complete the tasks the game goes on and on and on breaking more and more squares. Then there is more "story" that you have to watch. Definitely not worth the money, unless you WANT to spend more time watching the story and the game play itself. I definitely don't recommend this game.
