Travel To France is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun game I like this style of hidden object game. It is simple hidden object without spending forever just trying to figure our where to go next. I enjoy the variety of straight hidden object, mixed up words and silhouettes. The information given about the different places was interesting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A game to relax by & enjoy no matter your age I do not understand some of the reviews that I find harsh. This game is meant to relax and enjoy and not tax your brain but will give your brain interesting information regarding France. I find it very difficult to believe someone can breeze through this game no matter what the age. The scrambled words alone would take some thought and can be a bit of a challenge but what is the sense of a totally no challenge game. Speaking for myself, I play Big Fish to have fun and with all their games you have the option of playing or not and they do give you a trial to see if you would like it and my Wife and I like it and would recommend it to someone who gets tired of the back and forth and put items together tougher HO games and, of course, the dark theme games but Big Fish keep providing such a wide variety of games for those of us who can just enjoy a relaxing game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like this game - I can actually see it! I get where all the other reviewers are coming from - however at 66 years old I love a hidden object game where I can actually see the objects. The screen shots are bright and I can find stuff. I also like the shadow and scrambled levels. Lots of fun.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NOT AS GOOD AS TRAVEL TO ITALY, BUT AN OK GAME There are 15 locations that you play. You earn a star each time you play a scene and it unlocks another scene when you have earned enough stars, or you can use the stars you have earned to open up other locations which I did just to have a look at different scenes. I also used the stars to unlock the word linker puzzles. They start off easy and then become harder. You also earn stars for doing the puzzles which consist of Jigsaws, Jelly Bears that are Match 3, Flower Mahjong, and the word linker Food and Drink words. There is a timed and untimed mode you can choose. Hints take too long to fill...maybe 30 seconds. I had to use a few hints because some of the items were hard to make out, particularly when you are playing the silhouettes and word scrambles. Although there doesn't appear to be that many items in a scene, some are in your face easy and others very difficult because they blend in with the scenery. There is a magnifier right by the hint which is helpful, but even with that, at times I had a hard time finding things, which was a strain pain. When you replay a scene, sometimes the items are the same and sometimes they are different, so you do have a variety as well as the variety of game play of those scenes such as the silhouettes and word scrambles, and straight lists. In the word scrambles, the capital letter is what the word begins with. Some of those drive me crazy and I just began clicking away. You can scroll through the scenes to see what they look like by clicking on the arrows on the sides and you can see the puzzles at the end of the 15 scenes. The scenes and puzzles indicate the number of stars you need to open them if you don't want to wait until they open upon your playing initial scenes over and over. Once you use your stars to open a scene, it does remain open for you. It is a plus feature as well as being able to use your stars to open up any of those scenes you might like to try if you have the stars. The stars are very easy to earn and your numbers of stars are shown in the middle of the upper screen. You also have the option of playing any of the scenes and puzzles of your choice when they are opened. I like Travel to Italy better, but think this is worth a pcc or sale because of the variety of play and options you have. I already used a pcc and am not disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy This is way to easy and is for a beginner in hidden object games. I have played some of the other travel ones and they were good and not so easy and had a purpose where you could finish a scene after a while, I played this to the end of the trial and still never got to an end of a scene. I would recommend this to beginners.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Travel to France Not Great After all the Adventure games, and trips to Europe, USA, and London. This game really falls short. I think if you were a novice or a young child it might be fun. I solved it all in no time but it never ends. One acquires points but that is not necessary. The gummy matches, puzzle matches, etc. there is no end to the game with the exception of earning points. This is very juvenile and I wish I had never bought it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I PLAYED 12/15 HO LOCATIONS DURING THE DEMO! There are only 15 Hidden Object locations and I was able to complete 12 of those locations during the 60-minute demo, AND that includes revisiting the scenes at least twice, as you progress 3 times! In all fairness, each time you revisit a scene, the items to find are different (Listed Text or Silhouetted Shapes available) and there are several Pizzle Locations to unlock, Jigsaws-Pairs of Cards-Match 3 jelly bears-Food & Drinks Word Search-Flower Mahjong. The items to find are just ridiculously easy to spot, and that's without using the Magnifier. Unlike Travel To Italy, Travel To France has an Untimed Mode as well as a Timed Mode that gives you 10 minutes to find everything, which is way more time than you'll ever need. You will earn a single star on each HO location and the next location requires 2-3 stars to unlock it so you will need to replay the previous scenes in order to earn enough stars to progress. I found the game to be slow to respond to clicks and some objects required clicking on a specific area rather than a general area anywhere on the object. When I used the magnifier the scenes became darker and blurry and was almost useless in some areas. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Six year old flew through it. Grandson had trouble with mixed words other than that he lost interest after seeing the same scene 10 times.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not much to do. I have bought a lot of games, about 50 of them, and I liked Tour of Italy. I thought this would be the same. So disappointing. It seems there is nothing rewarding about it. Nothing to work for.
