Trito's Adventure III is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and Challenging Review -- Part 2 Having completed the game it is still fun and very challenging especially the last 150 or so levels. This is a game where I highly recommend, patience!, and be prepared to play some levels 30 or 40 times. I do like the new features in the game Trito's III. Note to developers -- I highly recommend having an easy setting as the levels over 400 some levels are really hard (and I am not counting the levels marked Hard!). If this game is geared towards younger players, they are going to get very frustrated very quickly in the upper levels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deserves A Chance This review is based on the trial. I agree with skpjazz and do love pennmom36 reviews but I have to say I really like this game story line and all. It is definitely challenging and takes a lot of concentration and strategy to pass a level. I am used to limited move games so that does not bother me at all. I have trialed the other two and did not purchase them, but this is a definite buy for me. Happy Gaming!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent if you like a challenge I have to agree with my fellow NC'er, Skipin, the 1 hr doesn't really give you the time to see what this game is. It takes awhile to get challenging and it does, just like the first 2. I personally like limited moves, duh, challenge. I'm an expert at the M3 games and it's nice to get one that has some challenge to it, we very seldom are seeing challenge in the new M3 games. I could care less for story lines or music, so I didn't rate either. I'm all about game play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Give this Game a Chance! I was thrilled when I saw the third Trito being offered and immediately bought it! I haven't written a review for a game in a long time, but I thought it was necessary to defend this game from the other reviews! Yes, I respect the different opinions of my fellow players/gamers, however, I wanted to be fair to the developers and let potential players know that it is definitely worth trying. As with most match 3 games, you have to play more than a few levels to get a true feel of the game. I happen to like limited move M3s, because I love a good challenge....without a time limit! AND, I absolutely LOVE the various bonuses created by match 4 and above. The developers were very creative with the bonus characters, and they make me smile with their antics and sound effects! One thing I want to clear up is that this game does NOT play itself! (Sorry Penmom - I still love you and your reviews!) Yes, you can create lots of bonuses, but even that takes strategy on most of the boards. I believe another reviewer said that moves are random and no strategy is required, but I totally disagree. There are many levels that if you don't develop a strategy -- you will have to replay several times, or use some of your purchased bonuses to be able to win the level! You do not have to pay to get extra moves (if you don't want to) -- you can replay the board for free, which I recommend, so that you can understand the STRATEGY of how to beat that board. You will find that you have to figure out a lot of things on your own, in that everything is not explained to you. But to me, that is part of the challenge I like, and makes it worth playing. As I said in the title of this review - give this game a chance! Keep an open mind, and play smart! Of course, if you don't like limited moves, this may not be the game for you. In my opinion, the number of moves given in each level is fair, once you understand how that particular board is intended to be played. You still may need to buy some bonuses to win, and you may get an unlucky arrangement of tiles, but you can restart that board at anytime. I look forward to a fourth installment! Please!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from HOW LONG WE GONNA ROLL WITH THIS SAME EVIL STEPMOTHER GIG? Review based on the Demo only *Was the image in the seaweed supposed to be the goddess Te Fiti who turned into Te K? after her heart was stolen?* Clearly this is a neverending Match 3 mobile version converted to desktop because the introductory story hasn't waivered nor has it continued the saga with additional footage. You begin in chapter 5 in this third installment of Trito's Adventure, and basically, everything is the same as it was in Adventures l & ll. Limited Moves Match 3 games that have multiple opportunities for Large matches (which consequentially gives you a ton of Bonuses on the board resulting in a game that practically plays itself) is my least favorite, in fact, it's at the bottom of my list. Sure, it's an adorable game with adorable characters, super-animated fish, and all the bouncy, bubbly 3D FX you'd expect in a mobile game app, sure, the mobile version is a four-point six-star hit, sure, this game will be a treasure chest, pearl in a clam winner for many Match 3 fans, but for me, I want to play a desktop version Match 3 game when I'm playing on my desktop, a desktop version wouldn't be very fun on a smartphone, so why would it be different the other way around? Tito's Adventure is a Limited Moves game with a "builder" aspect, you play levels to earn enough Lightning power to recharge Tito's Trident so that he can restore everyone's houses (apparently the tornado wiped out the entire Pacific Ocean floor) destroyed by a tornado conveniently created by Trito's evil stepmother as a means to rid herself of Poseidon's precious little tadpole. Most level goals require making matches over all Sand tiles, but some levels may require you to remove a specified number of specified tiles, drop items to the bottom of the board, collect starfish, or clear a path to allow Octi to reach the treasure chest via water currents and portals. There are the usual Obstacles of Wooden Crates, Frozen Tiles, Stone Tiles, etc. that block the Sand Tiles. Large Matches will earn you Bonuses on the board such as Twin Seahorses that take out an entire row or column (depending on which way you activate them up and down or left and right) Explosive Crabs that explode to take out a small group of tiles, Pufferfish that blows up an even bigger area when he huffs and puffs, and Anglerfish that take out several horizontal and vertical rows. Trito's Trident will remove all of the same tiles as matched with once the Trident icon has been filled by creating and combining Bonuses on the board. There are bonuses that can be used at your discretion such as a Hammer to take out a specific tile or Fishy Twins that swap any 2 tiles. Eventually, you will unlock Bonuses that can be used at the start of each level. Once you complete the Match 3 level, you get to choose a Clam Shell for each Star you earned on the previous level. There are 9 Clams to choose from and each one contains various powerups, coins, lightning or gems. You can use the Lightning Bolts to complete the side quests and help restore the houses destroyed by the Sorceress's tornado. My biggest gripe with this game is that after completing the level you have to wait forever for the computer to play through any unused moves remaining and then activating the Bonuses that those moves created. If I had the option to just click the board to end all that and quickly move on, it would be a nice touch. I also didn't like that you had to pay 75 precious gems to add +5 moves to the board. This # increases if you need to add 5 additional moves, a great feature for a mobile app that entices you to make in-app purchases to continue on, so I suppose eventually, you will just lose your lives and lose the game? Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed. Another limited moves Match 3, which puts me off immediately. This game is also very slow to drop the tiles at the end of each game, another annoying feature that developers don't seem able or willing to fix. Considering how long we have to wait for a Match 3 to be offered, I was disappointed with this one and definitely won't be buying it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Same old, same old This is a run of the mill match 3. Limited moves, no option to play in relaxed mode. No fun value.
