Rated 4 out of 5 by from I Enjoyed It! This is posted after playing the entire game. I really enjoyed playing this one, with a couple caveats which will be explained below. The graphics were well done. However, this is one of the caveats. There was a lot of long, and I mean long black screens between scenes. At first I blamed it on my computer, but after a couple of these I realized it was the game. It was like the game was reloading each scene. I've played games like that, but never from Eipix. Their games seem to run smoothly between scenes and there aren't black screens unless it has something to do with the story. Colors were bright and not dreary. Voice overs were well done and the music was not intrusive. I hope you're sitting down, because I'm going to tell you something that may shock you. I actually enjoyed the mini games! Yes, this from the man who hates them. I always try to work them out, but I was more successful in this game than I ever have been. There were a couple I couldn't figure out or were too time consuming, but the vast majority were right up my alley. The hidden objects were clear with just a few of them with items so small I couldn't find them or see them even after using the hint. The map is a necessity in this game. There is a ton of back and forth and without it I don't think I could have finished the game. Now for my 2nd caveat. The story seemed to start in the middle of another one. This is a series and since I haven't play any of the others, I don't know if the tattoos were introduced previously, but it took me a while to understand what was going on. Once I did, the story flowed smoothly and was really enjoyable. Others will go into depth about the story line, so I'll not bore you with it. Play the demo. It will give you a good idea about the game and I think you will enjoy it. Have fun!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Next Andersen story, less quality in the story itself The game was nice enough to play, enough scenes to explore and things to do and find. Puzzles were okay if not too challenging. The thing that really annoyed me was the quick ending… did the devs run out of time? You've been playing some time and done a lot to get there and then boom - the younger sister ends it all in a short splash. Hmm. Nice enough if you don't prefer a decent story, though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OUT OF ALL THE SUPER-POWERS HANDED OUT I GOT SHORT-CHANGED BIG TIME! Competed game: approximately 4 hours (including CE Bonus Chapter and all mini-games) Rachael's baby sister is in trouble again, and since Rachael is out of town, good ole Uncle Chris gets to babysit, once he tracks her down. It's going to be a pretty awkward conversation though, "er, hey babe, yes, we're both doing good, Nerida is safe,.ahhh, sort of. About her beautiful singing voice...." I think this series was over before it began, and #3 is a perfect example of why...it's boring to play. Eipix is famous for only having 2 areas of interest in every scene, 3 if you're lucky. The graphics are so plain with so little detail, there's nothing to look at, nothing to do, and because the storyline is boring, there's nothing to engross you or pique your interest, nothing to make you want to keep playing other than the hard-earned money you spent. There are 16 Hidden Object Scenes +4 in the CE Bonus Chapter. There was a few of them that were creative such as finding ingredients to make tea or opening 2 drawers at a time to find matching pairs, but there was only one that I actually liked, selecting various drums to display several musical symbols that match the symbols on the inventory bar. There are also Interactive Listed Items, Keywords in Sentence Finds, Silhouetted Shape Finds, Multiples Finds, and Pictured Item Finds as well. There are 19 Mini-Games +7 in the CE Bonus Chapter, but for me personally, I found them to be rather boring and not very creative. Here are a few of the games I found to be better the most: 1-Rotate wires to connect, similar to "pipes" 2-Adjust 4 puzzle sections to fit correctly, using + and - buttons, horizontal and vertical sliders, and rotational arrow buttons. 3-Select picture frames in the correct order by pushing them along the path. The Collector's Edition Bonus Chapter is a continuation of the main games' plot, playing as Nerida on a quest to find her voice. There are 7 Mini-Games and 4 Hidden Objects remaining, and you will pick up the final 5 Musical Notes to complete your collection, but there are no Morphing Objects within the CE BC. The collector's Edition version has 4 Concept Art Pictures, 8 Wallpapers, 8 Movie Video Cutscenes, 5 Music Soundtracks, 12 Achievements, 18 Replayable Puzzles, 18 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 21 Souvenir's, 33 Musical Note Collectibles, 16 Scene Morphing Objects, 4 Main Chapters, +Bonus Chapter, and a Built-in Strategy Guide.
