Dreamland Solitaire: Dragon's Fury is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enchanting Solitaire game This is a fun game for the entire family. You are helping the fairy save a village and find out why the dragon is so mad. The game starts out fairly easy but it becomes harder as you go along as you get fewer cards. However, you can buy joker cards and other powers to help you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spiders, Shields and Crystal Walls Oh My! I had sooo much fun playing this card game. I downloaded the demo and got so immersed that, POOF, the trial ended! Hard to believe 60 minutes can go by so quickly. Anyways, what a fun, colorful game this is. It starts out real easy and boy does it get harder as it goes on! It has so many different obstacles to get through too! The visuals are colorful, the sound is pleasant and the mechanics are smooth. If you are looking for a wonderfully fun solitaire, this may be it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just so pleasant to play There are just so many solitaire games out there choosing which ones are best is difficult. So I judge on the ones I go back to or leave on my screen. The previous dreamland is one of those. Was very pleased to see another installment The gameplay is extremely smooth, and the graphics just delightful. You can choose your playing deck out of six depending on how busy or bland you want them. There are a couple of key features that make me smile in this series, one being having to get a both a torch card and a fire card and combine to burn the spider who has your cards hostage. There is also a key to the chains obstacle. There are the usual suspects too... wood that needs the axe card or double ice play that we find in other games. Another thing I really like is that as you buy your bonuses they fill up according to the suits you play. There is a shield that actually takes you to play particular suits to remove it, You can play in timed, casual (no timer) or easy (two decks of cards) But really its an easy game anyway if you are just sensible. If you are a hard core player you in fact may find this a bit easy, but I play for late night relaxation and don't want to repeat and repeat, levels just because the cards didn't give forth. (why I like the last few cards strike down ability bonuses.) There are even achievements to earn. This one is perhaps a little more 'cutesy' than the last one, but there are lots of levels and lands to move through and scenes to restore.A light beautifully made game in the feel good mode. Its a keeper for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Return to Dreamland a treat This second installment of Dreamland Solitaire: Dragon's Fury is similar to the first in type of play. It's such a relaxing game, with pleasant and unobtrusive background music, great card play and challenges, and in length. You get plenty of levels and play time out of this one, just as with the first Dreamland. The challenges to overcome include many that were found in the original, plus some new and interesting ones. I too found the 'decorate/renovate/build' scenes a bit 'thicker' and cartoonish, without the delicacy of the original, but the card play and the enjoyment level more than makes up for it. With roughly 50 rounds completed, I have not yet seen the dragon but look forward to it. The difficulty in completing each round isn't overwhelming, though you may have to play several rounds to complete each level. Personally, I challenge myself to complete all three gold stars on each level before I move on and some of the levels are more difficult than others. Won't go into a lot of detail regarding specific game play or coins, purchases, and so forth as it's already been done, but one thing is certain: you get your money's worth in length of game play with this one. All around, another great installment of Dreamland that will keep you busy for hours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A big shock I don't like solitaire games, but a friend told me this one was so much fun .I tried it and got hooked. I like the concept that you earn the flasks to help rebuild the village. Totally different concept of solitaire than I'm used to.This is a fun game to play.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from NOT AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE ORIGINAL DREAMLAND SOLITAIRE AND THE DRAGON IS MIA IN THE DEMO? Completed Original Game Dragon's Fury Demo Only (Casual Standard Mode) I loved the original Dreamland Solitaire because the graphics were beautiful, the fairy was beautiful and I loved building the fairy's house in the middle of an enchanted forest, it was that particular feature that made the game so special. In Dragon's Fury, the fairy looks pale and anemic, and the inside of the fairy's house is unappealing with cartoonish graphics, definitely not as exciting as upgrading the house in the forest. I played the entire demo of Dragon's Fury and then I replayed the original game just to make sure I wasn't imagining how much I had enjoyed it, and sure enough, I enjoyed playing the solitaire levels more because I couldn't wait to upgrade the bridge, lamposts, signs, babbling brooks, etc! Everything else is the same as the original Dreamland Solitaire, as far as gameplay, bonuses, achievements, and mechanics with the exception of being able to choose from 6 Deck Card styles this time. In all fairness, I did suggest they add deck card themes on my review for the first Dreamland Solitaire, and I appreciate that the developer added this feature, but I wasn't very impressed with the deck card graphics. They are very similar to one another in style and color, all of which are brown and gold hues, and not very fairy-like at all, but perhaps that was a conscious effort to appeal to men as well? It's a fun game with fun obstacles and I probably would have purchased it immediately if I hadn't already played and loved the original so I will probably wait until Bonus Punch Monday rolls around again, to use a PCC. This is a Higher/Lower type of Solitaire Game that can be played in a Casual Mode with Standard rules, a Timed Mode where you are given a specified time limit for each turn or an Easy Mode which gives you 2 decks of cards. You get 1 Undo per level and there is Deck Card Counter and Combos will increase the index points, and there are 10 Achievements to earn. The Object is to Remove all of the Cards to earn 3 Stars (levels can be replayed) Glowing Gold Cards contain Coins and Glowing Purple Cards contain Mana. Coins are used to purchase Bonus Boosters and Number Specific Wildcards & Jokers in the Shop. Mana is used to Clean, Fix, and Decorate the inside of the Fairy's Humble Abode, which as I said earlier, has very cartoonish graphics and isn't appealing, even after the upgrades. As you progress, Obstacles are added to make the game more challenging. Plank Cards (single, double, triple planked cards) require playing the Axe Cards, Frozen Cards need to be removed Twice, Locked Cards require uncovering and using the Key, Shield Cards require removing Suit Specified Cards, and Spider Web Cards requires uncovering the flame to place on the torch which is used to shoo away the huge spider and its web. You can purchase Card Specific Wildcards or Jokers with the Coins you earn (you can earn them as well during the levels) and you can purchase a Chain Lightning Bonus (removes 3 random face-up cards) a Fireball (hits selected map) a Magic Shuffle (shuffles cards) or a bonus that allows you to Change a Card to an adjacent one. Once purchased, these can be used on any level, and they recharge as you remove cards of their specified Suit. You can also purchase Extra Cards at the start of each level, Extra Undo's, the right to use Jokers & Wildcards, Increase the Combo multiplier or receive a Faster Bonus Accelerator. In my opinion, decorating and upgrading the beautiful forest scenery was the key ingredient or feature that gave the original game the "It Factor" I wish they would have continued that feature, perhaps a new home in a new forest, even better, a new fairy and a new adventure... IF this game is about a Dragon's Fury, then the developer failed to capture the attention of the audience during the 60-minute demo because there's no mention of a dragon or its fury during the demo! Perhaps, having to rebuild the fairy's home after a dragon's fury destroyed everything in its path would have made more sense within the precious demo time-frame?
