Rated 5 out of 5 by from So glad I waited for the SE I have always enjoyed this series however when the CE came out I was not happy. The game itself was very good and I so wanted to buy but I waited and you still get most of the extras with this SE version plus no annoying blue arrows, The hidden items for the puzzles are still there so look for the question mark then click around that area until you find the piece. If you are not on relaxed then play the level first then go back for the puzzle piece as you can play the level again and just get the puzzle piece. Saves valuable seconds doing it this way. In my opinion this game is better than the CE as it is half the price with most of the features and does not have the world's worse excuse for a strategy guide. Try the demo, see what you think,I am just loving that I can now play this game without paying double for little more. The only downside I have with this game is I could do without the green rings showing you where you can move but that is with all these games and you can still click the wrong one as several are offered. I like the respawn feature. Enjoy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It was a 12 Labors game like the others but with added things to do that didn't add to anything. If you click on some of the trees, they pop out bird bodies, some of the palm trees will lose all their fronds. Some of the sheep take a trip to the moon, some of the flowers disintegrate. And you can still click on the flying birds although I didn't pay attention to whether they added points of not. A few of the hidden "tiles" were difficult to find, even on the 3d go round. And I actually needed the indicators to find the hidden tiles on several levels (the flag leaves it vague enough so it's not an instant giveaway). There 12 Labor games are not my most favorite of the TM games but they are fun and this one is too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from WORST HERC GAME EVER! I have loved and played all the other Hercules games since they were first released, and this one is a big miss by the developers. It's irritating to have to used the power-ups whether you want to or not - if you don't, you can't progress through the level! This is a very poor decision by the developers, and must never be repeated. Let us have some control please! The stupidity of the ? indicating there is a puzzle piece nearby - wrong! I tried it over 6 levels and never found a thing. Don't waste your money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from THE BEST PART WAS PICKING THE FLOWERS BUT THAT WAS THE CE AND I DON'T WANNA FOLLOW THE BLUE ARROWS ANYWAY Okay, I'm not implying that there's any kind of reality associated with a Time Management game, but this is a game with an animated super-hero that one can assume would attract gamers of a younger audience as well as adults. I'm also not implying that kids can't differentiate between reality and make-believe, but just for the sake of argument, can we agree that perhaps having everyone swallow a massive amount of giant speedballs in every level may not be sending the right message here? Fortunately, I'm probably one of the few people who always manages to see the humorous side in just about every situation thrown my way. Was I the only one who was rolling on the floor at the thought of Herc taking the giant speed pills whilst I was picking every daisy in site searching for a lousy puzzle rune as some cheesy elevator music was playing in the background? (on the CE version) Other than being able to play in a Relaxed, Casual, or Expert Mode, that was about my only positive reflection of this game. On the second level, the tutorial pop-up texts were being over-ridden by dialog boxes which the developer must have thought was more important, or perhaps thought we really did swallow those large pills? I had to restart the level and literally had to pause the game when the tutorial box pop-up appeared, explaining about the CE hidden puzzle rune, just so I could read it, otherwise, the story dialog boxes would over-ride the explanation! In my opinion, that's a huge oversight! Now that my emotions are going through a full rollercoaster range between humor and confusion, annoyance joins the ride as a barrage of blue arrows keep redirecting my line of sight all over the screen. I can see if it were a gentle nudge to say "hey, don't forget to grab this cheese wheel that's the size of Herc's giant speedball just in case you may have missed it" but I'm talking about enough flashing arrows to make you want to grab a few speed pills and run as fast as you can towards the exit button....which is exactly what I did! A few games ago when I noticed that Jet Dogs had joined forces with Zoom Out Games I thought it was a great team effort but now I'm wondering if they are going in the wrong direction? Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful I gave up on level 4.6. I found this game to be confusing and very hard to make a strategic plan because everything cost so much. You spend all your time trying to accumulate supplies to get where you need to be to start reaching the set goals. This was not a fun game and that is why I play these games FOR FUN not to get frustrated and hacked off! Last purchase for me on the Hercules Series and that includes the one with his daughter. I demoed that one and again what the heck. Just repetitious on every level. At least it was not full of pills and huge 50 gold crystals.
