Wilderness Mosaic 2: Patagonia is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vibrant color's wildlife, what more could you want I note from the earlier review mentioning this game is a n easier game. Please remember that Demo's sometimes are too easy and sometimes too hard. Yes it starts off easy which is good but after the demo it gets challenging. I love the colors and the theme of this game and the whole layout of it. Some mosaic games can become very boring and nothing to inspire, what more could you ask for than a breath of nature. If you like this sort of game I am sure you will love this. Enjoy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL ?¸.·´¯`·. WILDERNESS MOSAIC Wilderness Mosaic 2 is by one of my favorite Indies and I absolutely loved Patagonia! The images are interesting, there are some interesting features, and for me, the challenge was perfect. Some of the levels are easily solved while other levels are a bit more challenging, so it was a nice mixture that allowed me to relax and enjoy the mosaics, I don't want all of the levels to be so challenging that I lose the relaxing zen-vibe aura. In this second Wilderness Mosaic edition, there are 9 locations to visit in South America, Chile, and Argentina, with a total of 140 Mosaic Puzzles and 12 Mini-Games such as Spot the Difference, a Memory Matching Game (flip 2 cards over at a time) or a Line Tracing game (trace the line in a specified number of moves) and the best part is, all of the mosaics are 100% logic-based puzzles. There are 5 Tile's to choose from, Pearl, Glass, Chiseled, Soft, and Rough texture (love the pearl texture) and a custom cursor option as well. I love how the X'd or crossed-off cells darken & basically disappear or blend into the background because it makes everything so easy to see what's left and what still needs to be filled in. There is a Butterfly feature that will reveal a single cell and a Whale that reveals a 3 x 3 field on the board. You are allowed up to 5 mistakes, and when you complete an image you get to see the image without the grid for as long as you'd like, it doesn't go away until you click on it, I love this feature! For those of you who have never played a Mosaic Griddler, there are numbers on each row and column which indicates how many filled-in cells there are and each group of numbers must be separated by at least one empty or crossed-off cell. It's easier to fill in the larger groups of numbers first, and then cross-off cells that couldn't possibly contain a filled-in cell. You can switch between Color bubbles (located on the right side) when you get stuck which will ultimately narrow down the playing field. There is also a Hint feature available if you get stumped, but it has to recharge before you can use it again. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wilderness Mosaics Not The Best, Still It's Fun Didn't care much for the first Wilderness Mosaic game, even though the wilderness theme was a nice touch. I didn't care for the washed out appearance of the images and the empty cells were a visual problem for me. This time I see that the picture quality has improved somewhat and the graphics are a bit brighter. I still think the colors could be better, they are not as pretty or varied as in the Rainbow or Fantasy series. I enjoyed the games, they were a good diversion from the monotony that sometimes spoils my fun. The features were average, as was the challenge. The game ran without any tech issues and the features offered good assistance. There are plenty of levels to look forward to, I love guessing the new images as they materialize, only a few were questionable after completed. I enjoyed the demo today, so decided to buy because Bonus Punch Monday is available. I'm always on the lookout for new mosaic games, but they don't come along very often. The newer ones are really great fun and a nice change from the penguin adventures. They offer good extra content, brilliant colors, cute stories, plus the LOGIC based games are really improving in my opinion, which gives the challenge an extra punch. Also, I appreciate getting to choose the difficulty mode in mosaic games. I encourage trying a mosaic game, if you never considered it before. I was reluctant for years but when I finally took a chance, I became hopelessly addicted and love zoning out with my favorite mosaic and cup of evening coffee.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from BEWARE I played the one hour demo and found three things that detracted from the game. The most important one is that the game does not save your progress if you leave in the middle of a board. I really don't understand why this simple step is not available. Two, it seems that there is no way to replay a board if you would like to try for more stars. And speaking of stars, number three, there is nothing to tell you what you need to do to win 5 stars. Use no hints? Make less than 5 mistakes? Make 0 mistakes? Coupled with not being able to replay a finished board (which is the only way you can tell how many stars you've earned by finishing the board), there doesn't seem to be much point in trying to earn any stars, let alone 5. And one more point; once you've finished a board, the competed picture stays on the screen until you click again, then it goes to the "completed" screen where you have to click again to continue. This "4th" one is just an irritation. Other than these items, it is a good game which I recommend. I purchased and played the first game in this series and I know it had the same issues. So, developer, please fix the stars issue and make it possible to save a partially completed board. How about doing this and sending out an upgrade? It would be greatly appreciated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Enjoyable This is improved over the last game in my opinion. The illustrations are very good this time around and the extra games are more enjoyable. Overall it may be a little easier than it needs to be, but I will buy this one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the Best Mosaic Series Played the demo only (to level 2-2, I figured I didn't have enough time to complete another puzzle), don't plan to purchase. I enjoy mosaic games -- Rainbow Mosaics and Time Twins are currently my favourite series and I also liked the 2nd edition of Legendary Mosaics released a month or two ago. I think the puzzle pictures are better in those games than in this one. I didn't rate the storyline because I really didn't notice one but that's not important for me in a mosaic game; I play for the puzzles, not the story or the minigames (boy, I hate those 'trace the lines' ones and that's the only one I encountered in the demo so there aren't many). The puzzles are decent but I found all the ones in the demo to be pretty easy; hopefully, they get more difficult as one progresses through the game. There is only one mode of play, no choice there, so you must play in easy mode. You can't see how many levels you've completed either without leaving the main game to check on the map. If you absolutely love mosaic games and can't get enough of them, I recommend buying this one if you don't mind playing in easy mode.
