ClearIt 9 is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Added some new stuff Love Clear it! games . They have added some new stuff to help clear the board and I really like having something different. You have to plan sometimes and if you get stuck and extra bonus will help you out..just have to wait for it to appear on the board.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shooting Colored Balls is Fun! Some people don't like mindless games like this, but I love them. I have played all the Clear it games and I enjoy each one. Sure they are repetitive, but the goal is not to play the whole game at once. Just in little bites when you have a few free minutes. I will be totally enjoying this new one again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some New Gimmicks Hello Gamers: I am a big fan of Hidden Object games but sometimes I need a change. I bought Clear 8 a couple of months ago as a "freebie" and really got into it. I saw Clear 9 came out and I bought this one. I like this game to play while I have a movie running on my other monitor. I just started playing this version and I can already see some new "tweeks" from the previous version. Stay safe during COVID and play lots of games everyone. Thank you Big Fish for the free games you provided in the past months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well, I enjoy it each and every time. There is always some thing new added, which keeps it fun. I enjoy the continuing challenge of each version of ClearIt and have purchased each one including this version.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Clearit isn't that clear Sorry, wasn't a fun game from me to play at all and I was looking forward to something out of my normal type of game. I had to figure out what the directions were and to be honest, it was boring. I will be looking for a great game to play, but it won't be this one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I'VE ALREADY CLEARED IT...8 TIMES BEFORE This was a fun game to play when it first came out, and I purchased games two and three before I realized that basically they are the same game. The features are the same, the goals are the same, the power-ups and obstacles are the same, heck, even some of the board layouts are the same. In all fairness, I did notice that the power-ups seemed a bit more ramped up with beefier explosions this time, but the orbs have the same ugly color schemes they have had in the previous 8 games. After each level, if you have enabled the "Double Game" feature in the Options Settings, you can select a card (¼) that's hopefully higher than the dealer's card which doubles your points earned on that level only. It's not a very exciting feature, but it was more exciting than playing the game over and over?? The gameplay is simple, there is an unlimited number of colored Orbs located on all four sides of the board and the goal is to launch an Orb at an identical colored Orb(s) on the field until all Orbs have been removed. The Orb will travel in a straight column or row until it hits another Orb, Power-up, or Obstacle. If the selected Orb hits one or more Orbs of the same color, they are removed, and you may need to use a little bit of strategy to set-up your moves, keep in mind that there is no timer. Each level has Power-ups that appear briefly on the field or within the Orbs themselves, before disappearing and reappearing as a different Power-up in a completely different area. The Power-ups are activated when hit by an Orb or included in a Match. *Rotation power-up: reshuffles and replaces the Orbs. *Multi-colored Bombs: eliminates adjacent Orbs *Trident power-up: replaces all border Orbs with Tridents *Fireball power-up: explodes and eliminates nearby Orbs. *Lightning power-up: eliminates nearby Orbs in a cross formation. *Star power-up: shoots stars to eliminate adjacent Orbs. *Numbers: choose 1 or 5 Orbs to eliminate via crosshairs. *Billiard Ball: a ball ricochets on a pool table to eliminate Orbs & obstacles it touches. *Exclamation Mark: eliminates all Orbs of the same color. Each level progresses in difficulty, as more orb colors are added, fewer orbs in the desired color along the edges are offered. Sometimes you just have to sacrifice and add a few orbs to the equation, to be able to get to the desired colored orb, but because there's no time or moves limit it doesn't count against you. Once again, I was disappointed that the rows and columns don't highlight because it's easy to shoot an orb from the wrong slot. There are the same obstacles as the last several games such as brick walls and glass thrown into the mixture, the same colored orbs with the same power-ups and features as the previous games. It gets pretty boring doing the same thing over and over, especially if you've played previous games in the series that are nearly identical! This game was released in mid-July on Mac and I never got around to playing it because I knew it was going to be the same as number 8 (and 7 and 6 and 5...) So if you're new to this series I recommend this game, otherwise, I suggest just replaying what you already have, it's the same ole, same ole. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Best way to cheer you up. Some cold weather And now we have the 9th episode in this saga and we get some freezing cold scenery. The game is virtually identical apart from a little silver ball that if you hit it shoots off around the board knocking out a few tiles. Apart from that there is no difference. At least it's not a CE so that's one good thing. Sorry for being so negative , but honestly. Not on my Christmas list I'm afraid. If this is your first game of this series then it may be ok for you but it would be great if they gave us something to be happy about. I will pass on this one but try the demo and see what you think.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Same Old The ClearIt series seems to be a hybrid of Match 3 and Shooter games. But, the graphics are not that great. It doesn't highlight the row of the shooter target. The different types of orbs are OK but not that interesting. Not sure if I can recommend a similar game, but Quadrium 3 was a buy for me. This isn't. Can't imagine why nine ClearIt versions of the same thing would be needed.
