Rated 5 out of 5 by from challenging/fun match three Love this match 3. Very colourful, fun and just enough challenge to not make me give up and want to keep going to collect my bonuses. Give it a try. I think for those who love Match 3's, this game will please you. I recommend this game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok little m3 match i started playing this with some reservation as the reviews weren't that good. But i ended up enjoying this game, it's a normal M3 game nothing too glam, personally i liked the design (not the best but definitely not the worst i've ever seen) I will probably keep on playing till the end as i like to finish all m3 games

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Challenging little match 3 First, I played in limited moves mode - you can also play with no limits or with limited time. I was only able to finish about 6 or 7 levels in limited moves mode during the trial. The story was fairly typical bad guys vs. good guys who have to build a town to protect themselves by earning money via a match 3 game. One downside was that each round loaded fairly slowly. I'll wait for a sale and then buy this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Challenging and a bit different No instructions, but I call myself something of an expert at match 3 so I had a go. Bonuses are unpredictable - a match 4 may give you a bomb, or a vertical line clearer, or a horizontal line clearer. To detonate them you swap them with an adjacent tile, so you have some choice in how you use them. A match 5 gets a rocket which I think removes all tiles of the colour you swap it with. There are a few other things like paint blots and glowing tiles which I haven't quite worked out yet. After a few levels locked tiles appear - you have to make a match with 2 tiles of the same colour as the lock (not the underlying tile) to free them. I was still trying to get through level 12 in limited moves mode when the hour trial ended, and I used a free code to keep on trying.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok Match 3 game About the only really positive thing I can say about this game is at least the pieces one is matching are easy to see. And though the levels are not hard (in relaxed mode), what is hard is if you want to get 3 stars for a level, one has to be very careful not to do all the requirements until, you have scored enough points to do it. The circle in the upper left is the score with the small round marks on the circle indicating the 'stars' I have found at least the 20 or so levels I played you need between 500 and 800 points to get 3 stars, each level is different as far as I can tell. You get 1 point for each piece matched. So if you want any chance of not spending a good 20 to 30 minutes on a level, do match 4 or 5 these will generate a booster that when used will generate an extra 10 to 20 points. The building part of the game, takes time as the 'points' awarded to build per level run vary so it takes at least 4 to 5 levels to build a building. Note most of the buildings cost between 2000 and 3000 points. This will be the rare time I actually will delete a game. Its literally not worth my time. But if you have boat load of spare time and don't mind really paying attention to the points to get the 3 stars, then go for it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from What's that clunking sound?..oh it's the game! This game could have been good, but its clunky and no thought was given to refining some of it's annoying features. Firstly you cannot skip the dialogue and must clickedy clack through quite long convo's. The tiles also do not fall very helpfully in the areas where you need to destroy certain tiles and you spend your time making big matches miles away on the screen to make explosives, and hope they go in the right direction, and sometimes they don't! I played the first two levels fine..and chose from the 3 modes timed (timed, moves, relax)..on level 3 I couldn't get the tiles to behave so thought..I will toggle to relax and see what happens. Well nothing..even in relax I could still only manage 1 star! So..start another profile in ONLY relax in case it is a glitch..same thing..got to level 3 and 1 star. That in my mind is NOT relaxed, it just means you don't get the 'fail' and try again. And its pretty dissatisfying. There are ice tiles to remove on the levels as well as gather a certain amount of different coloured tiles. Breaking the ice was what held me up..how can you if there are no matches near it? Sometimes my large match bombs did a full sweep of a row and other times did what bombs usually do..just bang all around. Its a fairly dull game where you will build a village with money for levels and you get gems to buy your powerups each time you do a build. There are achievements that also give you gems to claim and they come fairly easily. However the game just just didn't do anything for me to entice me to buy it. There are many more games with good colour, non clunky, and a refined in gameplay aimed at the user experience and expectation. I pass..but try the demo. Just all a bit 'blah' for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The "Challenge" is to continue to play... I love match 3 games, the relaxing ones (no spiders/things popping up blocking my play) This game takes me back to dial-up modems days. Just to be fair, I forced myself thru this demo. It's wasn't fun.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good but not horrible I have been looking for a new match 3 game and this was not it. The storyline is terrible and really dumb. It is like really little kids playing with stick figures in a puppet show. The game play is repetitive and not very interesting. There are some odd game play functions for instance when one makes a good move per the games opinion, it tells you it is a "juicy" move [???] I played through several levels and gave up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Reminds me of the 90's This game to me had a very old fashioned feel to it. The first thing I noticed the main Hero had the name Elaine but not a feminine appearance at all. For me I found it very slow and clumsy, very repetitive and I got to level 9 before I had enough money for a power up. Although it does not suit me it may appeal to others so try the demo and see what you think. You need to buy your power ups, buildings etc but at the rate it is awarding ,it really does not deserve more than a 2

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Remember The Great M3s From Yesteryear? I hope the quality and challenging gameplay resurfaces in future match 3 games. They've been in a slump for a long time. Ezaron Chronicles is a lack-luster game, quite simple, with no excitement to it, little challenge. The boards are boring with their drab looking tiles. I played the demo for 40 minutes but found nothing that might undo the boredom I was feeling. If looking for an EZ-PZ time filler, this game doesn't require much thought. If lack of colorful graphics, strategy, good power-ups and goals are not a requirement, this game should be adequate. These are only my opinions based on what I need for great match 3 entertainment. So I cautiously recommend it, please try the demo.
