Heart's Medicine: Doctor's Oath Collector's Edition is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally I have been playing this game for weeks, everyday. One of the best TM games in a long time, not just an easy click and play to beat in a day. Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not your average Heart's Medicine game I don't think I've ever encountered another Time Management game with such long game play time or requiring quite so much strategy (a huge plus in my book!). Unlike previous Heart's Medicine games I've played which basically have levels strung along like beads on a string, this game is set up more like some kind of circuit board. There's still a nice long story line, but it's blocked at various places until you earn enough stars to carry on. Many lines flow off the main one, where the levels don't advance the main story, but allow you to earn more hearts, stars, and diamonds, all of which are more useful than just decorating some location. Those lines also lead you to chests and card sets that advance what's available for you to buy as you go along, and provide some freebies while they're at it. Once you've completed the main story line, you can proceed to the Elite level. They've been quite clever here. The Elite level has some differences to it, and is overall more challenging to get through. BUT...hearts and diamonds that you earn in the regular level are available to spend on the Elite level. I found myself going back to the regular level and finishing/leveling up all the levels where I hadn't bothered. (Something to note is that usually when you replay, your points are cumulative. You're not trying to beat your previous play on that level.) While it's true you end up playing many levels multiple times, they're usually not really the 'same' in that game play changes as you gain new equipment, things that affect patients patience, and use different combinations of power ups. You might also play a level once optimizing your strategy to meet that level's special challenge, or you might ignore the challenge and optimize your strategy to get the most possible hearts. Your ability to score high or meet challenges will also depend on what you buy earlier or later for each area of the hospital. The story line was engaging, as usual. You can earn puzzle pieces to put together a puzzle in each area of the hospital. There's also mail hidden in various levels, and when you open the letters, some of them are quite funny. Unlike other games in the series where about all you do with the hamster is find him in each level and occasionally play whack-a-mole with him, in this game he also has levels of his very own. He's also joined by two other hamsters with special powers, and they all have special power ups good on one level when you use them. There were some minor irritations. I get these games aren't remotely claiming to be based on real medicine. I don't think it's asking too much though, to NOT have them trying to cure people using a vaccine. (And I believe they spend a lot of time trying to research a virus by looking at bacteria???) lol This didn't bother me in previous games (because, pretend!), but now that we're deep in the pandemic, it's SO noticeable that these people NEVER WASH THEIR HANDS! Ah well, maybe in the next one. Although it's hard to see how they could top this one for innovation and value for your money. This is a great game, and my current favourite!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be prepared for the long haul When I first downloaded this game at 1.7gb I knew this would be a long game even more so for a TM. I am not normally a fan of this type of TM as angry people I can do without how ever here they just lose hearts and then walk off. Others will give a more in depth view of this game. Set over 6 chapters you need to work in different parts of the hospital as you progress. I have spent hours playing this game and still in the first chapter. There are so many off shoots in the pathway or map which take you to mini games to earn diamonds, more hearts etc. Although you can move on to the next level usually with just one star I would not advise doing this as you need a lot of stars to progress to each chapter. You can keep replaying each level until you get your 5 stars. If you want to carry on you can but bear in mind you will need to return eventually. At first I thought this would be too much for me to handle and after 5 levels I started losing it as I struggled to make up medications etc but the more you play this the more you get used to it. In the demo skip all the stories and banter, there is a lot of it and you need as much time playing this game to get the hang of it. I would have said you need 90 mins really as there is so much to take in. There is not much in the settings and only one mode level but you can keep replaying to build your stars up.It keeps your original star rating so you will eventually get 5 stars. This game has been out on IOS and Android since 2018 and only just released on pc. You will be dealing with a disease that effects a lot of the doctors as well as patients until a cure is found which is a bit off giving the current situation at the moment . There is a lot to take in with this game and I so want to move up to the next chapter. You certainly get your monies worth with this game and I am loving it. As usual with this series there is a good story line even if it is not quite the right time to bring this out. Some may find this not to their liking and be prepared for a long game. I just wish they had made the demo longer. At first I was terrible at this but now looking forward to the next chapter when I eventually get there . Bear in mind you will not do that in the demo at all. There are walkthroughs around thet may help as as I have already stated this game has been out for some time on other platforms just not PC. Enjoy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best yet from this game group I always love all the games that blue giraffe puts out but this one has everything! It takes hours to play, there are good minigames and there is a chance throughout the game to buy upgrades which make completing earlier goals possible. The storyline is long but interesting. They reallly worked hard on this game to make it just about perfect!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST.HEART'S.MEDICINE.EVER! This game has everything! Many levels, perfect game engine, non-linear gameplay, intriguing storyline ...who could ask for more? I don't usually write reviews, but this game is that good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heart's Medicine with a difference. It took a little to get used to this installment of Heart's Medicine, but now that I have, it's great fun. I really enjoy the fact that you can better your scores, earn more hearts, diamonds and stars.Even with replaying the same levels, it's always slightly different. The stars can be used for decoration of Ruth's place and outfits for everyone during parties (Halloween, Christmas etc.). The hearts are to buy improvements in the shop, as for the stars, I have yet to find out. The map may look a bit confusing, but all levels and minigames (of which there are lots) are also fun and help you to get better scores and progress to the next level. If there's one thing I would ask the dev's, it is a little explanation with the power-ups, perhaps when you hover over them. It isn't always clear what they do exactly. There are many hours of fun to get out of this and I for one am really thrilled with this latest addition of Allison Heart's adventures!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome TM game! I have been playing TM games for a long time & have been a huge fan of Big Fish. I absolutely love all of the challenges in this game with all of the different options that are available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of the series so far This has been the best game in the series so far. It has a lot of levels and they are not too difficult. Some of the mini games are challenging and some of the levels have to be played a few times for you to get five stars or five diamonds, but I like that I'm not going to finish the game in one day! Every time I think I'm done with a section a new level opens up and I have to go back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Worth the Money! I usually don't buy CEs, but this one is so worth it! I have been playing for probably over 40 hours on this one and still not even close to finishing, as I am trying to get all the stars and guinea pigs, etc. The graphics are fun, colorful and well done. The music gets a little annoying, but there are some fun tunes sprinkled throughout the episodes. Great story line, you definitely want to find out what happens next. And for me I will need to go back and play the 2nd installment as I missed that game when it came out. Amazing replay value. Lots of minigames, a scrapbook to buy with your diamonds, as well as the main story. Playing in the normal mode, I can usually beat the level the first time, but need to replay several more times to make sure I get all 5 stars, meet the level goal and find Oliver. Sometimes you may need to sacrifice one to get the other, but they are all cumulative, so that's nice. You may have to play further along to get the card pack/upgrade you need to buy before you can pass certain levels. But not so hard that you feel like giving up. I am really enjoying this game and highly recommend this time management offering!
