Pixel Art 15 is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Are They Psychic? I just get to the last couple of pictures in one of these games and out comes another...they must calculate how long it takes the average person to finish one and have the next ready to go. I buy these without doing the demo because every one except the first one has been such fun. I love the huge pictures that have lots of one colour here and there so I can just sweep my mouse around and enjoy myself, not to mention being a notorious "clicker" I can click around to my heart's content. Keep them coming!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes! Love these games, and each new version does not disappoint. Sure, some of the images are childish and not very clear, but after completing an image with10K or more pixels, it is kind of fun to work through one of these simpler puzzles. I like the fact that the newer versions have several images that have more pixels, making completing them more of a challenge. I also like the challenge of finding that one last pixel of a certain color, I like to refer to as a "nuance pixel". You know that one beige pixel in the middle of a section of brown pixels just to give some extra realism, and also adds a little extra challenge to find it. When working on one of the more complex images, it is nice to know that you can exit the game and your progress will be saved. I think it would be interesting if they could throw in a new challenge for a couple of the images and have them just be numbered pixels on a white background so we didn't know what the picture is until we completed the puzzle. It would be fun to see the picture come to life as it is being completed. As of now, we know what each image is before it is done. I'm not saying that all images should be that way, but it would be a different challenge for a couple (or a few). I am currently working on my second round of Pixel Art 14, and will certainly purchase #15. I don't know what is in store for the images I can't access until level one is completed, but I have not been disappointed in any of the versions purchased and am sure I will not be with #15.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pixel Painting Pleasure Let's face it ! It's impossible to finish the first set of images in the 60 minute demo. So we just hope the next levels will not be disappointing. Enough of us have complained about this first level thing featured in every single Pixel Art game. Evidently the devs are blind in one eye and can't see out of the other when it comes to our reviews! Surprising, the first group of images are quite an improvement this time. I managed to finish only a few simple ones and painted some areas in the remaining pics to check out the colors. So decided to take a chance on today's release with an expiring coupon. The color palette in Pixel Art is usually full of beautiful brights, muted tones and pastels. They create nice detail and shading that add depth and beauty to the more complex images. It would be really nice if the finished piece was larger and would stay on the screen for longer than a nano second, so we could admire our work. I want to savor what my efforts created. I realize that we are working with pixels and they represent "small" but today's technology works magic on computerized art and I've seen the results. The images CAN be enlarged without blurriness or loss of color quality. It just isn't being done here for whatever reason. I overlook the other couple of nagging issues because I do love Pixel Art. The features all work well. I especially like the double click to fill in large areas of same color, also being able to sweep over the picture to color your selected number instead of clicking each individual pixel. And the Zoom feature is an absolute must for everyone, no matter how good your vision may be. There have been no tech issues in any of the games. Larger, more complex images have been added as the series grows and that's a big plus for me because challenge becomes involved. It takes a good amount of time to complete them and I feel it is worth the $$. I own all but a couple of the games and have enough unfinished painting to last til the cows come home. The 80 pictures provide lots of relaxing enjoyment when I'm ready for some quiet time with my cats and some delicious coffee. I do have another paint by numbers favorite, so with the two I'm a happy fishy, the artist within gets to come out and play. If you've not tried Pixel Art give the demo a whirl. There are no age or skill level barriers and it's a nice change from the HOGs and puzzles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pixel Art 15 A-1 game!! I just happened upon these games awhile ago. Ended up buying everyone of them!! As with last person, they said Big Fish must know when someone finishes the prior "edition". Actually, I finished the last one awhile back and have been waiting for the next one! LOVE these games.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Less challenging than previous versions I have really enjoyed playing the Pixel Art puzzles. They have become my favorite game! But this one is weak on difficulty. I love the puzzles that can take a couple of hours to complete. Bring those back!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from IT'S HARD TO ENJOY A "NO FRILLS" GAME AFTER PLAYING SOME TOP-NOTCH GAMES LATELY Recently we have been offered some really cool Pixel Art games by other developers and it's hard to go back to ordinary after playing extraordinary. Those other games had so many features that Pixel Art just doesn't have and probably never will, such as, saving levels once started, interesting images with colors that pop, the ability to select background colors from a full-scale palette, a hint feature, and most of all, tools that tell you how many cells each color/number has, not to mention the fact that the current number/color cell shows up with a yellow highlight so you don't have to hunt for an eternity for a few stragglers! One game actually had a map at the top so you could see where the yellow cells were, in this game the cells highlight in grey but for some odd reason, several numbers are highlighted in grey so it's a worthless feature! The images are never very interesting, the colors are so bland that a strawberry looked anemic! You get to see a handful of images in the demo and you can't even access the other levels to see the upcoming images much less choose those levels until the first level has been completed. Why not allow us to earn points for completing each puzzle to use points to unlock any puzzle we choose? There's not a whole lot to have to figure out, it's about as uncomplicated and basic as it gets so as long as someone can recognize numbers, they should be able to play! (my 6-year old grandson can play these games) Pixel Art is a computer version of Paint by Numbers, in a pixelated version! Each pixel has a number and you chose the corresponding color bubble from the palette (also numbered) on the right side, and you simply left click to fill in all the numbers with the correct color, you can hold the mouse button and swipe through large groupings as well. There is a Slider Bar that allows you to zoom in & out (there's a "fit" tab as well) you can also move the entire page around by right-clicking and dragging. There is an auto-fill feature that will fill in large groups of pixels in a particular color by double-clicking, but that feature has to recharge after each use, besides, it's more satisfying to color them yourself. The last feature is a slider bar that allows you to change the color of the background only, it doesn't change the shaded numbers which is kind of the point, it really only allows you to change the colors of the background to shades of grey to black.
