Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first time management game Very entertaining, vivid and bright game. I enjoy playing in relax mode to focus on the story and beautiful graphics. It is very handy that you can chain jobs and watch Tweedles and Alice fun animations! It looks like there are more Alice's Wonderland games out there, I better check them out as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WILL SHE CHOOSE AUTUMN OR WILL SHE CHOOSE WINTER-IT SEEMS WONDERLAND IS DIVIDED RIGHT DOWN THE CENTER! ♠ Holy Moly Mad Hatter, has someone spiked the cookie dough batter? ♠ One Queen wants a Halloween that never ends, Autumn's the clear choice, and she's not willing to bend. ♠ The other Queen argues Winter has Christmas and fresh falling snow, which brings that jolly good fellow who shouts "ho, ho ho"! ♠ Now Wonderland has called upon Alice to solve this dilemma, I'm thinking they probably should have called on Cinderella! This has got to be one of the most creative and imaginative Time Management games I've played in a long time! What a delightful, whimsical game with bright colors, fun characters, and a hilarious story. I love the CE morphing Art Palettes because they are really challenging due to the fact that they morph so slowly. Each scene also has a Teacup puzzle piece that allows you to assemble Jigsaw Puzzles. TIP: look for the Palette & the Teacup before clicking to start the game, you can click on both of them without starting the timer! You can also return to the levels to pick up the collectibles and then exit the level after without disrupting the original score. The SG also shows the location of the Teacups with a purple arrow on the last page of the SG (click the dots at the bottom of the SG page to scroll thru pages) This is definitely a game I'm putting on my wish list...covid lay-offs means I only get demos for a while :( but I highly recommend this CE version if at all possible! In the last version, I found a little trick that helped me immensely, there are so many alters and features that I decided to jot down bullet points of what each feature gives me and what resources they require because I was able to look at my notes to better strategize. (for example Chest-bark+gold...Bush-imagination+candy) So the chest required bark to obtain gold, and the Bush required imagination to obtain candy, and by making a list with a minus and plus sign (- and +) I could easily glance at my notes and know what I'd need to go after, and on which paths first. There are 40 Main Levels (+20 Collector's Edition version Bonus Levels) that can be played in a Relaxed, Normal or Challenge difficulty mode, and Trophy Achievements to earn. In the CE version, each level has a Teacup that allows you to assemble downloadable Jigsaw Puzzles. Each scene also has a Morphing Art Palette that allows you to "paint" 3 Concept Art pictures. The CE version also has 2 extra mini-games, downloadable artwork, bonus quests, and 4 additional achievements. Although the concept is the same, the features are clever. Alice must collect "Imagination" and the Tweedle workers need to collect Candy as their food source. You will build Candy Factories for food supplies, repair cracks along the paths, removing stone and boulders, clear mysterious puddles, and gather renewable resources from various Altars. There are a lot of strategies involved and if you don't do things in the right order, you can and will get stuck and have no choice but to start over! (the bullet point list really helps :) There are plenty of pumpkins, and candy canes but even cooler, there are all kinds of weird holiday mashup tasks such as Snowmen that need to be turned into Scarecrows, Leprechaun Houses that brew potions, Jokers with pumpkin heads...all kinds of weird, whimsical, and cute things to do. The Bonuses are Magic Spells that last for about 20 seconds each, and each level usually has 3-4 different Spells available: ♠-Collect More Resources ♠-Run Faster ♠-Bargain Trade (resources traded at a better rate of 3-4) ♠-Get Candy Pile (generated on altars) ♠-Get Gold (generated on altars) ♠-Fill Altars ♠-Speed Up Workers ♠-Freeze Time ♠-Speed Up Production ♠-Endless Candy (obstacles are temporarily disabled-max 3 objects) ♠-Endless Gold (obstacles are temporarily disabled-max 3 objects) ALICE'S WONDERLAND SERIES LIST Title***Collector's Edition Release Date***Average Rating 1-Cast in Shadow (September 24-2019) 4.2 2-Stolen Souls (April 11-2020) 4.6 3-Shackles in Time (August 1-2020) 4.0 4-Festive Craze (October 10-2020) n/a by: Big City Labs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hooray..it's not a 'same game'...new scenes and features! How refreshing to see a developer not thrust the same old at us after a few games in a series. This game is a battle of which holiday, Halloween or Christmas needs most attention and Alice must sort it. Therefore you get quite a few changes of scenery as you travel to the respective lands. Halloween is full of potion brewing potions (new building).. (restoration, explosive, transformation and bouncing)..and sometimes you must brew one to get another (if its not on the path already). Plenty of pumpkins and along with the humour...traps that need to be rendered harmless and turned into hats. Christmas is a winter setting with snow and festive lights, and I did see on the BFG blurb that there seems to also be a tropical holiday festive setting?. There are the features you know..buildings that produce bark, gold, candy and imagination (as well as landmarks you can buy them from).. but with the different settings you don't feel like you are playing a 'repeat' at all. There are the familiar 'puzzle cups' to find that make up your jigsaw, (if you click to the last dot underneath the level on the numbered strategy guide (?)..their location is shown by an arrow.) You can also go back and collect them if you forget, and then just leave the level again. They are marked on the map if you have collected them. There are disappearing pallets to grab to complete your art work. You can play relaxed, normal and hard, you can skip or disable the dialogue completely, (but it is very humorous)..and also turn off the hints and use the system cursor. There are 20 bonus levels in the CE. It's great..it's smooth, it's interesting and strategic. I am so pleased to see new graphics and features on a favourite game. Well done developers to not let it get stale. Always try the demo, but I think this is a well thought out and quality game. Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They listened I was fortunate enough to do a survey for this game a little while ago and was able to state my opinion. This shows a developer cares when you get the opportunity to have your say and I thank them for that. What a joy this game is. When this series first came out I had my reservations but now I am an avid fan. You have the usual collecting etc but there is a different thing to accomplish in each level and the joys of festivity are abound here which is something we all need in these trying times. There is a 90 minutes demo here which is a great thing and rare in a TM game. There is so much going on that 60 minutes would be a bit short. A great thing is that you can turn the dialogue off so those whom do not like dialogue you are catered for. I always skip dialogue in demo's so I can get further in the game having said that now I have bought it I have turned it back on as I find it very humourous. As well as the strategy guide you also have quite a comprehensive help guide which can be accessed in the guide. If I did have one thing to point out and I am only nit picking here is that in the first levels I sometimes found that the bark etc blended in a bit too well to the brown tracks so anyone with eye sight problems may have to look a bit closer.. Once past the early levels then everything is nice and bright. Enjoy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, It's A Series Now I tell you: Nothing has me hitting the Uninstall button faster than a game where you are collecting the same thing 10,000 times for just minimal gains. And then, there's Alice! Artfully combining familiar past elements with some charming new ones, this game is skillfully blending rote resource management with clever little twists and turns. You can disable dialogs, hints, music and sounds but oddly at the beginning there are blue helper arrows. I was OK with them, and they don't persist in later levels, thank goodness. Toggling to your System pointer is suggested for better control and modes are: chill out, normal, hard. A "low graphics" setting is also included. Graphics quality is not top-notch but the boards are very festive and seasonal. A gentle, imaginative and challenging game resonating with good cheer. Bravo!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not my favourite Alice. When I played the first Alice is was just something to pass the time but it had me hooked which was a massive surprise to me as its not my usual favourite genre of gameplay. So much so that the three previous games have been installed permanently on my laptop as my go to games when im on downtime. I was excited to see a new installment and I have to say I wasnt overly thrilled with it based on taster but I went ahead and purchased anyway. Now dont get me wrong. The graphics and everything were lovely it seemed to be just missing something that the previous games had. It also seemed to lag or glitch a little in some of the levels. Unfortunately compared to the other games I wont be adding this on a permanent basis. Bit of a shame but fingers crossed for the next installment.
