10th Corpse is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why the bad reviews? I liked this game a lot. The story is especially good. The game has a fair amount of dialogue, but you can easily skip it, as each dialogue box has a skip button. The only dialogues you cannot skip are the questions, but that's a matter of picking an answer and keep going on. Don't be fooled, this is a really long and unique game. It's like reading a book that also happens to be a game, with plenty of minigames. By the way, I liked the cartoon HO minigames a lot! Those could be turned into a game. Recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stuff, mixed bag of fun A strange game, never played something like this. It's advertised as match 3 but it has much more. I managed to get to the cook and if I recall correctly there is a game of balls and one with some pieces and skulls, the best one. The game of balls is complicated, but you can adjust the speed of the balls to the minimum. The game with skulls is like a tetris, really good. And a cartoon HO that is also very good, although I do not understand who are the characters and if their dialogues have something to do with the story of the mansion. In any case, I was pleasantly surprised. It will not win game of the year, but it's a breath of fresh air. I'll buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little game I must confess that I was not going to download this game. With that name and that crow, I thought it was something macabre, one of those games that scare you. But I was curious, seeing so many 1 star reviews. Thank goodness I downloaded this game. It's not scary at all, it's humorous, a bit goofy, perfect to play in the afternoon. Someone says he can't find the trumpet, it's up there on the left, and it's easy to see, I didn't have to use any hints. And others say a lot of dialogues, but those have a skip button too. Everything has a skip button, but I didn't have to use that button, I like the story. The first levels are easy but then it gets complicated. I had a hard time solving the levels with the brown skull. And further on there are some gargoyles that I didn't know what to do with until I read the tutorials, but who reads the tutorials? you have to click with the RIGHT button on the black sphere once it has been filled with fire. I found out that the black sphere, like the brown skulls, can be changed to another position. And later it gets complicated with the magnifying glasses, but not too much. Well done Big Fish, this is a sure buy for me, it's different from the same old same old rinse and repeat. In my book it's a 4.5 one because I don't like some colours, but I'll give it a 5. If you make a sequel, I suggest the skulls mini-game instead of the little colored balls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Interesting Game This is a fabulous game. I like the minigames and the gameplay... I don't like that I can't replay the minigames.. Also I thnk the story is excessive, I skipped it sometimes, but I love the originality of this game..... I recommend it if you want to play something different....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from And suddenly my demo was up..I was so engrossed! You know a game is good when the 'end of demo' shocks you back to reality. I was so busy and concentrating on this game I forgot I was only doing the demo! Its got the lot. A very mixed variety of hidden object, M3, a sort of marble popper where you cant reach the top...so have to keep popping, a switch the tiles and even memory for reward test. And the main objective..'a mystery to solve'. And that's just in the demo! So keep your observation skills on hand. You are sometimes asked questions about past scenes and are rewarded if you answer correctly. Its all very colourful, and there are skip dialogue tabs..but I read every bit in order to get the feel of the characters, and sometimes it is quite humorous. There were some parts it took me a while to get the 'hang of' how to proceed, but you get the opportunity to reset and repeat levels if you want all the rewards and stars. Catching on to 'best gameplay' was my brain not a fault in the game. I also turned off the sound to read the dialogue as the 'typing' noise was annoying, its a tiny tab on the dialogue window..(not the main sound).. but that's all I could find wrong..and there was an antidote. So all in all..a fabulous SE jam packed with variety and intrigue! Quite unusual in its presentation compared to other M3 games..but then its much more of course. Try the demo and..Enjoy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Came for the M3 and HO but stayed for the story This game defies conventions. The story is well crafted, with supernatural vibes, but not too much. I couldn't guess who the killer was, until the end. I even skipped some minigames and M3 just to advance the story. Hope Big Fish makes a sequel. However, I feel the game was missing a window with a summary of the story. It's a long game, and every time I came back to play I would have liked to read a summary of the story up to that point.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A pretty good little game Thanks to those who go into detail about this game. I enjoyed it and will purchase it. The hour demo went quickly for me. I really like the variety of games and the story line was decent, too. This game isn't going to win "game of the year" by any means, but it's a terrific little gem to kick back and enjoy if you don't want to cause your thinking cap to explode. For me it's a kick back and enjoy kind of game. I deducted one star because it does have a lot of dialogue; but since I like the story line, I can't fuss too much about that. Since the ratings are all over the place for this game (so far, anyway), you'll probably have to play the demo for yourself to see if you like it or not.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What comes next? I am glad I tried this game out. With puzzles, match 3 and hidden object hunts, I just don't know what's coming up next. I like the puzzles as, although not very difficult, they do require some thought and take a bit of time to solve. I am also interested to see where the story goes. Give it a try for yourself but this is quite my cup of tea. Enjoy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A surprising package of fun. The 10th Corpse is a very rare find. It has a real story line, and a nice mix of "mini games". You'll find HOs, and battles as well as some arcade older style games. It has a somewhat unique and interesting gameplay. It's similar enough to other match games that it is easy to figure out but different enough to keep my attention. Well written and concise instructions are provided on various boards. Some levels really need a strategy to complete. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was I felt the loading times were a bit long. I consider myself an expert at these so I didn't find the Demo levels too hard, but it was quite fun! A definite buy for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Different M3 I enjoyed the demo, plan to purchase this game. Three stars can be earned playing each M3 board -- no time limit but there is a 'suggested' number of moves required and if you exceed that you lose a star. You also lose a star if you use a power-up -- although I can't see how a couple of the levels in the demo could have been completed without using one but I don't know all the ins and outs of the game as yet. If getting all 3 stars is an important goal for you, you are offered the chance to replay the level before moving on. There is a mystery storyline for you to solve (your character is a detective summoned by the homeowner, Mme V.) and some pretty interesting minigames to play as a 'tester' for her eccentric, elderly brother, a game developer. I highly recommend you give the demo a try if you like M3 games and are looking for something that's entertaining and fairly different than the usual. My fingers are crossed that this one continues to hold my interest until the end; based on playing the demo, it's worth me taking a chance on.
