Campgrounds V Collector's Edition is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Game! I even loved the sounds which I rarely have turned on. Nice challenge with playing guide if you get stuck. Very replayable as well. Recommend if you like this sort of game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than ever This has always been a great series and I think this one may be the best yet. While the basic gameplay is the same as in Campgrounds 4 there are some new innovations which add to the variety and the ways to play. The market allows you to buy food, supplies and seeds and also boosts (I prefer that to the Shaman of the earlier series). The farm allows you to grow food quickly if you have seeds. On some levels there are tree plantations to cut down which then provide supplies. As with 4 and 1 there are map pieces to find which then lead to a further campsite. If there is a downside it is that it gets very difficult to get gold even playing at normal on some levels. But the rest of it makes up for this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CAMPGROUND-O-FUN Some Time Management games have branded themselves well. They have made a name for themselves in the gaming world by continuing to create interesting games that are unique, one of a kind niche games that no other developer was able to imagine. Campgrounds by Jumb-O-Fun Games are now on the fifth installment and one of my personal favorite Time Management series games. ? You can play in an Untimed Mode as well as an Easy, Normal, or Hard difficulty mode (which amusingly has a skull & crossbones next to it) so the developer has excluded no one, absolutely everyone in the family can enjoy this game! There is a learn as you play tutorial during the first few levels as they slowly introduce a new feature level by level to ease you into the game mechanics. There are a ton of features in this game, that's what makes it interesting, but it isn't complicated because Jumb-O has done an amazing job with the tutorial. This CE version also has a built-in Strategy Guide that gives you helpful tips as to which tasks to assign workers to and at which point. My favorite CE feature is the Hidden Map Pieces (SPOILER ALERT: look for the wooden cross and send a worker to dig up the map piece END SPOILER ALERT) The Hidden Map Pieces will be shown on the level map and if you missed a map piece you can return to the level to pick it up and then quit the level without affecting your original level scoring (gold, silver, bronze) even if you have to clear debris, cut down trees, build a bridge, etc. to get to the map piece! How cool is that?! The Hidden Map Pieces will unlock 6 Secret Developments once all map pieces have been found for each development: 1-Mountains: 0/6 2-Forest: 0/8 3-Desert: 0/8 4-Swamp: 0/8 5-Jungle: 0/10 6-Beaches: 0/10 Although you must clear paths to get to the campsites, there's not a whole lot of Resource gathering, instead, you build Factories or Food Trucks for example, and buy the resources needed in bulk. This is a multi-click type of TM game where you click on campsites and then a specific Tab within the main tab to select the correct type of housing or building: When you select the "Housing Tab" several housing tab options appear, such as Tents, Campers, Bungalow's, etc. it just depends on the level goals as to which one to build. Each "housing" type can be upgraded 3 times, and each upgrade earns more rent than its predecessor. Buildings can also be Salvaged if it's no longer useful which allows you to erect a new building or tent. When you select the "Buildings Tab" several tabs building tabs appear such as Food Trucks, Factories, Farmhouses, Markets, and even Playgrounds. Once you have purchased or constructed these buildings, you then have to select the "create" tabs to create either food or supplies in bulk quantities of 50-100-200 units depending on your available resources and the level goals, and of course, you'll get the money to pay for the resources by earning income from the various housing options (each type of house has a different income, the higher the upgrade the higher the income) Collector's Edition Version Extra's: 50 Standard Levels, 6 Secret Development Worlds (unlock with hidden Map Pieces) 20 Achievement Trophies, 20 Challenge Levels (earn Gold, Silver, Bronze awards) a Built-In Strategy Guide. Rated 5 out of 5 by from A worthy CE without silly gimmicks What annoys me most about some CE's is the amount of extras you get that do nothing to give you a better game. This has 50 standard levels, a generous 20 CE levels and 6 bonus levels making a grand total of 76 . No wallpapers, art, music and anything else the cat brings in that isn't wanted. Well done dev's for giving us what we want. The first levels I was a bit unsure of as they were very samey to the previous game but don't let that put you off and also very easy but it does get much better. Has anyone noticed the food van now has a side entrance door ? I like where you need to clear trees to access your build site and the graphics are very sharp. As you go on you get different tasks to do as well as the usual pick up and collect such as building scaffold etc. I am now on level 20 and this is a challenge even on relaxed. The hidden treasures are a bit hard to find but you can always go back to collect them after you have completed the level if you are on a harder level and going for 3 stars. The only complaint I have here is that the treasure is not marked on the strategy guide apart from that this is an excellent game well worthy of a CE. Enjoy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top class series...plenty of levels here! This has always been a delightful TM series to play, it's clever, its eye pleasing and always gives a great variety of tasks.. Indeed in this CE offering, there are no wallpapers or music choices, just lots of levels instead. No frills, good value. There are 50 standard levels, 6 secret levels, opened when you find all the jigsaw map pieces and marked with a wooden cross (often really hard to find..but you can go back without losing your stars and leave after you pick it up and they are marked on the levels but not on the strategy guide) ,And there are 20 extra challenge levels! All levels are covered with a written move by move strategy guide. That's 76! There are also achievements to be had. It is a standard build, upgrade, gather TM with the twist this series has toward ecology factors. Gardens and preserving nature are a feature of the tasks. (now they have stopped any shooting in their games) The first few levels are super easy and pretty much a tutorial, that wont let you move ahead until you learn, but you can skip the dialogue and get going if you know what you are doing. I did get a bit ahead of myself at first, and couldn't work out why the trees I cut down didn't seem to register on my materials score. You must wait till the meter of the worker is full, and if you click again in haste...he will not finish the task..but start again. This applies to all tasks. I am playing in easy, as I learned in the past this series soon ramps up to be quite difficult even with the guide, and you can't toggle without starting a new profile. There is a relax option, normal and expert too. Gameplay includes building campgrounds, tents trailors etc..but soon its cabins and mansions. You will need food vans to make materials, to build the camp and get a daily income and hire workers. Then you will need greenhouses and seeds to add to your 'eco' score. Houses with gardens pump out free fruit as well as the $. I saw on the screen shots there is fishing to be had and a market and shipbuilding also. One task was to build scaffold to retrieve what looked like a laser gun...so who knows where that part of the storyline will go? Its a great TM. Its a 'smile on your dial' feelgood game. Plenty to do and lots of levels. You do have to employ strategy as the tasks often require demolition and your choices may be influenced by how much free fruit you are getting or what materials you have in hand. An instant buy for me! Always try the demo...but what's not to love? Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the last one Campgrounds is a must-buy for me, one of the best TM games there is. That being said, Campgrounds IV was not as good as it's predecessor - but Campgrounds V is back on top. Great game. I'm up to about level 22, and this doesn't disappoint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the 4th installment Sorry if spelling is wrong on some words. I love this game you get to build different kinds of houses & getting the food this time around is alot more fun. I hope there is more games to come in this series. To me the third & fifth games in this franchise are the best. With this game you don't shoot animals just like in the 4th game (It never bothered to shoot its just a game.) I have been through the other games & im sure this one to several times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite kind of TM game I love the builder games and this is a quality game with lots of challenging levels. I like to strive for 3 stars and it is challenging even on the normal difficulty. The CE is worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have! This series is a definite buy right off the bat for me. I absolutely love how the devs make each game a little different but keep the same general concept. It holds my attention and makes me want to play for hours! I don't care for storylines, and would like to skip it, but that's minor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun stuff Yay! They have a "relaxed" version! Yes, it's more campground fun. You keep the eco up and build tents and other attractions. For those who have played this game before, it won't be much new yet it's still a ton of fun.
