12 Labours of Hercules XI: Painted Adventure Collector's Edition is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from No-Star Relaxed The graphics and music were the only redeeming feature of this game. They're same as the rest of the Hercules series. But, once again, the Hercules series gives no stars for playing in relaxed mode. The last two Hercules I played required tedious replays to get three stars. Not fun. And there's no way to make the achievements since beating the developers' score is impossible for me. No stars for relaxed mode means no building or puzzles. The CE Extras are wall papers. That's it. The Emma artist is an added feature but not worth a BFG credit. No way I'd purchase the CE version. Doubt if I'll ever buy another Hercules.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lazy devs Used to love these games, but there is no fun in chopping logs everywhere. The graphichs are boring, and have lost their charm. Also - there's no value for your CE money, like with so many of BFG these days. I've been a member here for a decade now, and have a hard time finding games that I really like for my game credits, -before they run out. I'm gonna replay earlier versions of Hercules now, or Royal Envoy or perhaps Adelantado. Now those were games worthy of CE title and five stars.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from HERE WE GO WITH THE GIANT SPEED PILLS AGAIN There are several things I didn't like about this game and very few things I liked. The most obvious is the fact that as a CE, there is nothing about this game that seems CE worthy at twice the price...who cares about 9 wallpapers and blue arrows that point to all the different areas. A Strategy Guide should show me where the Puzzle Piece is located, especially when the puzzle piece is hidden under bushes, sheep, etc. and it should tell show me step by step moves of which resources to gather in which order. A hint feature is a wonderful addition but should be an addition, not THE only form of a strategy guide. Secondly, the tasks were the same over and over, they all seemed to involve the same goals, they just added more resources to each level. Thirdly, they had to add the stupid giant speed pills again? What a stupid feature, have you no imagination, no creativity? See my location quote for shocking statics. Lastly, a Note to the developers: it's not really cool to automatically enter my full name in the profile section, it seems rather creepy and totally invasive! If you do decide to click on the so-called Strategy Guide, annoyance is the only word to describe the barrage of blue arrows that take over the screen to keep redirecting my line of sight. I can see if it were a gentle nudge to say "hey, don't forget to grab this cheese wheel that's the size of Herc's giant speedball just in case you may have missed it" but I'm talking about enough flashing arrows to make you want to grab a few speed pills and run as fast as you can towards the exit button....which is exactly what I did! Collector's Edition Extra's: 3 Bonus Levels, 9 Wallpapers, 6 Movie Cutscenes, Hidden Puzzle Runes to complete 5 Puzzles (The Piano-Graffiti-The Artist-Help Yourself-Wavy Tower) 24 Trophy Achievements, NO Strategy Guide! 12 LABOURS OF HERCULES SERIES LIST Title***Collector's Edition Release Date***Average Rating 1-12 Labours of Hercules SE only (October 30-2013) 4.0 2-The Cretan Bull SE only (July 21-2014) 3.8 3-Girl Power SE only (January 4-2015) 3.9 4-Mother Nature (August 22-2015) 4.2 5-Kids of Hellas (January 23-2016) 4.3 6-Race For Olympus (November 1-2016) 4.2 7-Fleecing The Fleece (June 20-2017) 3.7 8-How I Met Megara (December 22-2018) 4.4 9-A Hero's Moonwalk (September 7-2019) 3.9 10-Greed For Speed (May 2-2020) 4.0 11-Painted Adventure (October 24-2020) n/a by: Jet Dogs Studios

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Excellent except for animal anihilation Graphics were great; fun and unique storyline. Love the idea of the little girl's ability to paint items with her magic paint brush, so that the characters can progress through the game. The banana peels to collect were new and fun to the eye. I only lasted 12 minutes into the game and had to shut it off as I was turned off by players ability to kill off the various animals as an extra feature while playing through each level. For example, You can click on lambs, and hear them cry out as they disappear with the touch of your mouse. Baby birds fall to their death when you click on their eggs, and a goat cries out and goes 'poof', leaving behind his antlers that fall to the ground when he is killed off. This feature to kill off animals 'for fun', felt satanic and morbid to me. No thanks. Not very nice at all.... Remove this feature and you've got a great game.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not fun to play Looks like the developers made games X and XI so challenging they sucked any fun out playing them. I'm pretty sure I'm done with any future games in the Hercules series. I have games 1 thru XI. Guess I'll stop before the games get any worse.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from "Speed pills"??? I play this series intermittently, so I don't know if this is a new part of the game. I find the inclusion of "speed pills" in extremely poor taste, especially considering the cartoon-y nature of the game. If a character needs a boost, what is wrong with a smoothie, a power bar, or even a vitamin supplement? I won't go so far as to say this game will turn people into junkies, but it is in very poor taste. I didn't finish the trial.
