Halloween: The Twelve Cards Curse is rated 1.3 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from good eye test I didn't think it was quite so bad as other reviewers. Yes, the music is irritating but after a while I could almost ignore it. You have ten levels to "solve" ranging from easy to hard, although the difference is hard is more cluttered and you will have to find multiples of the same thing. The good part, for me, was the need to distinguish items overlapping each other of very similar colors - candies, ghosts, spiders, bats, pumpkins, cauldrons, potions - are very close (brown spider & bat together, for example). Even so, I'll probably wait until it is on sale.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This Developers other games are far better I was pleased to hear that this developer had decided to venture out from his usual games of jigsaw puzzles to which he is one of the best. However this game is not one of his best but he tried, to which I thank him for that. To answer one of the reviewers regarding the fading images, these are not what you are looking for. In the bottom centre of the game you get a silver ring with a black inset. The item you need to find comes up in that with how many items you need to find. To start it is 1 but will increase as the game gets harder. The most annoying thing about this game is as far as I could see you can not turn the hints off and it is constantly telling you where the item is. Arrgh, big no no for me. You need to be able to turn that off. The timed mode is over the ten levels of each of the 12 sections of the game and although an easy game I was just not able to complete a section before my time ran out so would suggest you use the untimed mode but by all means try timed as I am a bit slow. The bell did not really bother me as it is a halloween themed game and yes you can not turn this off in the game but you can mute your own sound , not ideal I know but it seems to be the only option. You can replay levels which is a good thing. I found some of the items very difficult to see and could have done with being a bit more clearer. Not sure why you could turn the music off but not the effects? As I said earlier this is not this developers normal field and changes would need to be made to improve the game but they gave it a go to do something different. Others push out the same boring stuff all the time. Try the demo and see what you think but it does need an upgrade and for me it is a no.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NEEDS A TUTORIAL I spent 5 minutes and was so frustrated that I quit. As near as I could tell, the graphics that fade in and out on the edges of the "card" are the objects that need to be found in the card, but I'm not sure that is correct. I was unable to make a correct selection. I think it is because I am not fast enough, but I'm not sure. I set the game to play with no time limits, but do you have to find the item before the "clue" fades out? And I didn't see any objects that exactly matched the fading graphics. Or maybe I just didn't see it, because I was thinking I had to find it before the graphic faded out. Or maybe there is only one object that exactly matches the fading graphic and I just never found it. So, bottom line, I couldn't figure out how to play the game and got too frustrated after 5 minutes to continue. Perhaps one of the reviewers could tell us how to find an object correctly. Where is the Game Forums when we need them? I have better things to do than "guess" about the basics of a game.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Halloween-no fun! AWFUL! not even worth the time to download. In all my years of enjoying BF games, this one is not even suitable for a toddler!.only thing I enjoyed was the music--for about a minute!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from lasted about 5 minutes Primitive low quality visuals. Impossible to mute completely - a loud bell sounds constantly even after the mute. My opinion - suitable for kids no older than 5 years old.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I really tried to find something to like This is a terrible game [in my opinion] It is simplistic no challenge and no storyline to speak of. The music is changeable but quickly becomes something to mute a nd the gong that goes off each time you successfully find an object is beyond irritating. There is nothing to recommend this game.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nope. Just. Nope. Based on other reviews, I thought, it can't be THAT bad. I purposely did not use my sound. Then when I started to play, I see what everyone else is saying. This one gets a Nope. Just. Nope.
