Spellarium 6 is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from More Than Common Match 3 This is super fascinating game differing from many other match 3 games! Here it's not enough just to move matching gems - you have to think about every next step! And I love it! How to fire the cannon (and which of cannons)? How to collect the oil, melt the ice, remove ladybugs and reach the coins? What is the best sequence of actions? To complete the level you need to think about all of this! It requires lots of strategically thinking, makes every next level special and doesn't let you get bored! In addition to match 3 levels, there are other puzzles in the game: solitaire, mahjong, hidden objects, "find the differences" etc. Despite the fact that I played this game because I wanted to play match 3, I found these extra puzzles appropriate and entertaining. If someone won't, he or she can just skip annoying levels. The graphics are colorful and bright. Music is pretty funny but not loud and annoying. The dialogues are simple and don't really hide any interesting story but that's okay for this type of games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Something to be Thankful for...a great game! I was SO excited to see this game offered today! I got hooked on all of this developer's games (Spellarium, Laruaville, Cursed House & Floria) over the summer and was wondering if there would be a new Spellarium. I love this series...the graphics are awesome and this is not a simple match 3 game...you really have to think about the next step, as there is so much in one puzzle and doing things out of order can often make completion of the board difficult. It's cerebral, visual, and such a great way to decompress when you need a break from Zooming or social distancing! I bought this game on the spot and am looking forward to more from this developer...just keep 'em coming!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hats off to FRH Games As you can probably tell I am a fan of this developer. A very important factor here is that they listen to their fanbase and do what they can to please everyone. Not that you will please everyone as we are all different. I for one prefer to play on relaxed as I am slow but even on relaxed these games are very challenging and the iron plates for me are a wonderful addition. Incredible minds to think of all these things. As for the gameplay I love this one probably more than the others in this series. For me it is just right and there is a lot of thinking required. I agree with others that they need to vamp up the mini games as they are the same old thing but you can skip them and then after 3 skips it gives you the option to not have that type permanently. The hints used to be annoying but you can now disable that feature which I do all the time. These games never disappoint and are challenging from the start without being too hard or too easy. Reminds me of Goldilocks, just right. The developers do read all your reviews and take in everything that is said so once again I give them full credit for that. Take care all

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is how you entertain with a M3! Another good one! Most know this series (and others by this developer) by now with its rockets and ladybugs, drips and explosions and the main aim..get rid of the coins. Straight away here the new feature of the game is thrust upon you. A metal tile which you must push out of your way one square at a time by shooting it with a cannon to place it where it doesn't block your gameplay. Sometimes you may have to use a cannon from one direction horizontally, and then switch to one facing another to raise it vertically. The tile is also moved by making adjacent matches, and will move in the direction of the match. Other than that its our old friends named above and the newer features like 'swap screens' where only parts of the board are in play until you move the screen by the buttons. The frozens are here, the flamethrower tiles and all the features that are usually found. The OLD minigames are exactly the same, solitaire, mahjong, spot difference and hidden object. Next time I take a star off if they dont start doing new ones lol! But with its three modes, timed, relax and limited moves, this really is a top quality game. This is about the 'middle' difficulty of the several series this developer does. Not the easiest..not the hardest. The hints along the way help if you get lost. (some find it annoying, but I often need them) In fact I often have to repeat a level just getting the hang of the intricate gameplay. Not much new...but something novel anyway, and I do love these games. You need to put your thinking cap on, and there is just so much action. Try the demo always, but this is as good as any has been. Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from different game, yet still the same Spellarium Don`t pay attention to the visuals on the side of the game as that is not this game. This is the same Spellarium, yet it does have some differences. They have the same matches and mini games, they have the same Higher or Lower card game, find hidden objects and find the differences. They have a new mini game which is Majhongg. They don`t have the different power-ups such as the Lightning or Bomb, but they did keep the rocket, which you get if you make a match of 5 or more. They`ve kept the cannons and dynamites They`ve added a new challenge in a safe that you must move with the cannons to make matches. Rockets and dynamite doesn`t destroy the safe, you have to move it. You get hints on moves, if you want them. You have to use your noggin on some of of these levels, as when you move the safes they act like dynamite and will move left or right, up or down and then they block moves you need to make. All in all, its the same Spellarium, just different.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't be fooled! I thought that this was going to be some kind of graph game. (which I cannot for the life of me figure out) BUT! I read that it IS like the other Spellarium games. Don't be fooled. It may be just like the other games but there's lots of things to trip you up! This is the kind of game that saves my sanity!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE Spellarium games! I love this series. I almost did not try this one though as the video to the right shows a Mosaic game which I do not enjoy. They are the wrong graphics. This is definitely a Spellarium game. Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Smashing Spellarium! I love this game because of the great challenge that drives me bonkers! It is so much fun and, at the same time, so frustrating. Shortly into the demo, I had to reach for the Hint. A most appreciated feature! The boards are very colorful as usual and the tiles were different this time, the strategy moves being the best part. I like that Spellarium takes thought and time to complete each level. The challenge really gets me seriously hung up sometimes. The mini-games are still fun. Solitaire is too easy though. I like the Hidden Objects, they can be very well hidden. My favorite is Find The Difference, not as easy as you would expect. Spellarium comes with lots of instructions that are easy to understand and visual instructions on your board if you get hopelessly stuck (like me) at times. I love everything about this game and own them all. It is nice that the devs add some little change to each new release to keep the fun and interest flowing. Had a great time with the demo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The same Spellarium style game despite the incorrect demo pics The demo pics are not for Spellarium 6, they are left over from Daydream Mosaics which was the previous day's game. Luckily the download link did update to Spellarium 6, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. It's always nice to see a new Spellarium game, they never seem to have technical problems and always work well. I think someone with a fiendishly clever mind must work out the layout of the levels, as I sometimes struggle to figure out where I should start, but if I struggle too long the game darkens and leaves only the starting point bright, which is a huge help. My thanks to the game creators - keep 'em coming, please. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another fantastic Spellarium! This is an instant buy for me. I was bummed out at Halloween because I had been hoping for a new Cursed House. But, I'll take a new Spellarium for Thanksgiving! The Spellarium, Laruaville, Cursed House and Floria games are always superior and in a league of their own. I always look forward to what new features have been added and this one does not disappoint. For the second time lately, Big Fish has screwed up and not shown the correct video and thumbnails for the new game. That's very unfortunate for new players who aren't familiar with a new game since they are being terribly misled about a game. How does something like that happen and not be corrected fairly quickly?????
