Big City Lab LLC presents another exciting visit to Wonderland in Alice's Wonderland 4: Festive Craze.

The holidays are fast-approaching, and Wonderland is divided. One side wants to focus on a Halloween party, while the other side wants to prepare for Christmas. The Halloween preparations got as far as designing costumes before the progress stalled. The pumpkin gardens haven't produced the annual harvest, and no one's gotten around to decorating a Christmas tree or even starting on the holiday treats! But Alice is ready to fill Wonderland with the sounds and smells of the season and bring the two sides together in the holiday spirit, even if it's both holidays! Can you help Alice reunite Wonderland in celebration? Find out in this festive new time-management game!

Alice's Wonderland 4: Festive Craze is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from ALICE'S WONDERLAND MAY HAVE A CURSE BUT THIS STANDARD EDITION IS DECENT THO I WAS EXPECTING THE WORSE ♠ Holy Moly Mad Hatter, has someone spiked the cookie dough batter? ♠ One Queen wants a Halloween that never ends, Autumn's the clear choice, and she's not willing to bend. ♠ The other Queen argues Winter has Christmas and fresh falling snow, which brings that jolly good fellow who shouts "ho, ho ho"! ♠ Now Wonderland has called upon Alice to solve this dilemma, I'm thinking they probably should have called on Cinderella! This has got to be one of the most creative and imaginative Time Management games I've played in a long time! What a delightful, whimsical game with bright colors, fun characters, and a hilarious story. I loved the CE morphing Art Palettes because they were really challenging due to the fact that they morphed so slowly, but this Standard Edition version still has a Teacup puzzle piece on each level which allows you to assemble a Jigsaw Puzzle of the Mad Tea Party. TIP: look for the Teacup (and on the CE version the Palette as well) before clicking to start the game, you can click on them without starting the timer! You can also return to the levels to pick up the collectibles and then exit the level after without disrupting the original score. In the CE version, the SG also shows the location of the Teacups with a purple arrow on the last page of the SG (click the dots at the bottom of the SG page to scroll thru pages) In the last version, I found a little trick that helped me immensely, there are so many alters and features that I decided to jot down bullet points of what each feature gives me and what resources they require because I was able to look at my notes to better strategize. (for example Tree-Candy+Bark) (Chest-Bark+Gold) (Bush-imagination+candy) (Book of Art-Gold+Imagination) So the chest required bark to obtain gold, and the Bush required imagination to obtain candy, etc. and by making a list with a minus and plus sign (- and +) I could easily glance at my notes and know what I'd need to go after, and on which paths first. Although the concept is the same, the features are clever. Alice must collect "Imagination" and the Tweedle workers need to collect Candy as their food source. You will build Candy Factories for food supplies, repair cracks along the paths, removing stone and boulders, clear mysterious puddles, and gather renewable resources from various Altars. There are a lot of strategies involved and if you don't do things in the right order, you can and will get stuck and have no choice but to start over! (the bullet point list really helps :) There are plenty of pumpkins, and candy canes but even cooler, there are all kinds of weird holiday mashup tasks such as Snowmen that need to be turned into Scarecrows, Leprechaun Houses that brew potions, Jokers with pumpkin heads...all kinds of weird, whimsical, and cute things to do. The Bonuses are Magic Spells that last for about 20 seconds each, and each level usually has 3-4 different Spells available: ♠-Collect +1 Resources ♠-Run Faster Speed Boost ♠-Bargain Trade x2 (resources traded at a better rate of 3-4) ♠-Get Candy Pile +4 (generated on altars) ♠-Get Gold +4 (generated on altars) ♠-Get Bark +4 (generated on altars) ♠-Restore Altars ♠-Speed Up Workers ♠-Freeze Time ♠-Speed Up Production ♠-Endless Candy (obstacles are temporarily disabled-max 3 objects) ♠-Endless Gold (obstacles are temporarily disabled-max 3 objects) The Collector's Edition version has +20 Collector's Edition version Bonus Levels that can be played in a Relaxed, Normal, or Challenge difficulty mode, (both levels have 40 Main levels) Trophy Achievements to earn in both versions, Hidden Object Mini-Games, and a Teacup that allows you to assemble a downloadable Jigsaw Puzzle in both versions. The CE version also has a Morphing Art Palette that allows you to "paint" 3 Concept Art pictures, 2 extra mini-games, downloadable artwork, bonus quests, and 4 additional achievements. Rated 4 out of 5 by from A wonderful game but consider the CE too The reason I have only given this 4 stars is because I feel that the CE is worth buying as it is packed full of features. Don't get me wrong this is a brilliant game and only too rarely do we get a CE that is good value over the Se . I am sure you will enjoy which ever you go for I was fortunate enough to do a survey for this game a little while ago and was able to state my opinion. This shows a developer cares when you get the opportunity to have your say and I thank them for that. What a joy this game is. When this series first came out I had my reservations but now I am an avid fan. You have the usual collecting etc but there is a different thing to accomplish in each level and the joys of festivity are abound here which is something we all need in these trying times. There is a 90 minutes demo here which is a great thing and rare in a TM game. There is so much going on that 60 minutes would be a bit short. A great thing is that you can turn the dialogue off so those whom do not like dialogue you are catered for. I always skip dialogue in demo's so I can get further in the game having said that now I have bought it I have turned it back on as I find it very humourous. As well as the strategy guide you also have quite a comprehensive help guide which can be accessed in the guide. If I did have one thing to point out and I am only nit picking here is that in the first levels I sometimes found that the bark etc blended in a bit too well to the brown tracks so anyone with eye sight problems may have to look a bit closer.. Once past the early levels then everything is nice and bright.
