Customer Reviews
Shopping Clutter 8: from Gloom to Bloom is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best serie of Shopping Cluter series. I have all the games of the collection. My all time favorites among them are 3d, 4th, 6th and 8th series. If you liked the very first game - you will like the rest of them. One may ask why they make so many series of the same game? Well, this game for me is like a crossword but in colors. These games is a relaxing, colorful way to spend some spare time or just take you away from a hectic day! If you that kind of a person - you should try it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Better than i expected. I like Hidden Objects games and there are not many straight HOGS. Some time ago I tried one of the earliest Shopping clutter games and i did not like it. A few days ago i tried Shopping Clutter 8 and i thought it was pretty good and I would buy it when it is on special. There are variations of objects to find. Because "Shopping Clutter 6, Love is in the Air" had many good reviews, i tried it yesterday. I am in the minority, i did not like this game at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from LOOKING FORWARD TO NEW BEGINNINGS & FRESH STARTS!? Shopping Clutter is an okay Clutter type HO game, but the clutter just isn't that appealing to me personally. The objects are always the same uninteresting objects scene after scene, and there are a ton of "transparent" object scenes that were just annoying for me personally. Why is it that when reviewers disagree with features in a game by this developer, they get an unusual amount of no votes and then the developer himself writes a review which is against BF guidelines? Then when they get low ratings, there seems to be an odd number of new reviewers that pop up that only seem to review games by THIS developer, and they always write the reviews in decending order of each of ther series like Shopping Clutter # 6, # 5, #4, #3, #2, #1 (and I do mean ALL of their series and the ONLY games they review are for this developer's series games!...hmmm at least try to make it not so obvious?) Did I mention they were all 5-star reviews? This is blatent review fraud, I've noticed it over and over, so hopefully someone reads this and starts paying attention too! It just get's boring doing the same thing over and over, a feeling I never get when playing the original Clutter games or even the Hiddenverse games. There are two modes of difficulty, Easy Mode which has no time restraints, and a Difficult, Limited-time Mode that gives you extra points for removing objects fast. There are 140 Clutter-type levels that can be replayed if you want to earn a better score. After playing 7 Clutter levels, you can play a Jigsaw Puzzle variation such as Square Tile Swaps (adjacent, diagonal, etc.) or Sliders (20 Total Puzzles) Clutter Variations: ?Matching Pairs ?Triplets ?Related Items ?Themed Items ?Transparent Items ?Same Size ?Different Size ?Same Colors ?Different Colors ?Pastel Shapes ?De-Clutter (move items from piles & match) ?Buried Items in unmovable piles Some levels have objects that can be moved out of the way, some levels don't allow you to move any objects. Some levels add unpaired objects every time you remove pairs, and some levels require finding the correct half of items that are cut in half. Each scene has a ton of GIANT Sun Emblems scattered among the junkpiles to recharge the Hint Meter, seriously, what's the ratio of the number of objects required to find versus how many Sun Hints there actually are? The only reason I click on them is that their presence annoys me and they are in the way, they need to be smaller, much smaller! Sometimes, brother, we just have to play by the rules, sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, but it always feels better when those wins are true and sincere.
