Faircroft's Antiques: Home for Christmas Collector's Edition is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never too much Christmas! While I'm a little behind in playing this game, I'm really enjoying it. And YES! There's a skip dialog button if you wish, but so far I've found the characters interesting, but if the dialog gets tedious I can now skip. Thank you developers, for adding this option! That said, love the graphics, the music is nice, the puzzles are different and the Christmas town atmosphere is lovely. A pleasant way to spend a few hours, not hard on the brain, just plain, relaxing fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved this game for the story line This is a very traditional Hidden Object game and a relaxing one; Please try the demo to see if the puzzle types and difficulty level are for you. It was just right for me as a stress-reducer. I really enjoyed the game for the story (including the dialogue). I have always loved Boomzap games and am really happy to see them back with games for the PC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally an original type hidden object game! I really liked the game. It was cute, and more like the original hidden object games I started out playing. I love the new ones too but this just brought back memories of when I first started playing these games. There were so many different puzzles and different scenes. There was a lot of talking but I skipped it all. I was glad to have just a relaxing retro game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hurray for the Skip button for the dialogue!! This game surprised me for 2 reasons. We had a Faircroft's Antiques game earlier this month so didn't expect another one so soon. Also surprised to see a Christmas themed game toward the end of January. I liked the previous Faircroft game except for the huge overdose of dialogue. I finally just clicked on every dialogue screen w/o reading it since I enjoyed the basic variety of games. I great big shout out to the developer for giving the player a "skip" button so you can now skip all of that bothersome dialogue in this game. I really do l like games like this one that have multiple games rather than just a straight HO game. This is a kick back and relax game for me. Also it's getting toward the end of the month and I was happy to get 3 punches on my card. I'm giving this a 5 star rating because of the "fun factor" and also because of that wonderful skip button for the dialogue. I don't mean to insult the people who were tasked with writing all of that dialogue; but it's just too much for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Game This Faircroft's Antiques game is so much more fun than the one I bought a week ago (Faircroft's Antiques: Treasures of Treffenburg). On this game, you can actually skip all the dialogue instead of having to hit the continue button non-stop just to get to a scene. Would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE ADVENTURES OF MIA FAIRCROFT CONTINUE! I was flabbergasted to see this game right upon the heels of the first episode, but I'm absolutely delighted that we are getting the sequel so soon. My guess is that the release dates were pushed back from Fall and Christmas to now due to the pandemic. You'll find the first episode here: https://www.bigfishgames.com/games/14812/faircrofts-antiques-treasures-treffenburg-ce/ In this episode, Mia is home from Treffenberg for the Holidays and of course, cannot resist getting involved in more projects. You'll find adorable stuffed critters (like the 2 sweetheart ladybugs... personbugs?) on the couch, cuddly "live" sugar gliders, and some sort of stuffed beastie by the fireplace that is a, uh... dog (?) with a bird's head that seems to be wearing some sort of WWI Snoopy cap. Yes. Well. The scenes are bright and cheery, and the objects are big enough so that these old eyes don't have to squint, use eyedrops, and peer into the scene with my nose on the screen. I've not encountered a single glitchy moment and the game play is a perfect relief from the intense online work I do. And it's a great family game. Wish the grandkids weren't all grown up, dontcha' know. Can't wait for the next installment! :D Been playing 'puter games since Pong and Zelda (sure miss some of those DOS games) and am currently going back through retro BF games in my "toybox" and scouring BF for ones I may have missed over the last (mumble mumble) years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This One Looks Good Too... I can't wait to buy this game and play it like I played the other Faircroft's Aniques game. And I enjoyed that game as well. This one looks good. I hope Boonzap Games develop more Faircroft's Antiques Collector's Edition Games in the future for Big Fish Games. Because they look brilliant to play. I enjoy playing these types of Hidden Object games very, very much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy, breezy fun! Love these games by this developer, thankfully no problems with gameplay, glad they added the skip button for dialogue but I like clicking through to see what the story line is, rather this than the same old trite Darth Vader type character expounding on why he is trying to take over the world, the riddle HO's are my favorites, keep them coming developers!
