Rated 5 out of 5 by from Packed full of great features even for a SE In this SE version you still get to find the owls and earn the achievements plus the shoot em levels . To be quite honest I feel this is the better option as you still get 50 levels but 10 less extra levels and no strategy guide, which I did not use once. It is action packed and I still have not got to the extra levels but will eventually. So ,if you have not bought the CE , seriously consider this one. Which ever you go for you will not be disappointed, This game is from the same team that give us the New Yankee series so I just knew we were in for a treat. We are back on the railroads building and repairing railways to get our heroes further in to the wild west. From the very start there is a lot going on, no slow levels its all go from the start as you would expect from these developers. I like the additions of switching points to get the right trains where they need to go then you need to allocate workers which is a reminder of the New Yankee games but it is totally different with the wild west in the forefront. The owls have returned and are not easy to find however you can look for them afterwards if you wish to play in a challenging mode . Because there is so much going on it may be an idea to play the demo in relaxed mode in order to get you further in to the game. You can change the mode if you wish at any time during the game but you would need to start afresh for each mode until you progress with each mode then you just start where you left off. In the previous game I had to change my cursor as it was very jumpy but that does not seem to be a problem here. Try the demo and see what you think but if you like your TM's then you will love this, a great challenge. Show Less

Rated 4 out of 5 by from THE SE VERSION STILL PACKS A PUNCH! This developer has never disappointed me, they know how to create amazing Time Management games that have unique themes, and interesting features that are just downright fun to play! This developer brought us New Yankee, Rose Riddle, Viking Brothers, and Weather Lord, all of which are highly-rated game series, and my personal favorites. You can play in an Easy, Untimed Mode, a Normal Mode, or Hard Mode with tighter Time-limits. My only complaint is that you have to start from the beginning if you switch modes. Sometimes I like to switch to the easy mode if I'm having difficulties earning all 3-stars until I figure out the best strategy, and then I'll switch back to Normal or Hard to earn my 3-stars. This is definitely a strategy-based game and you'll have to queue tasks correctly in order to complete the level goals. There is so much to do, and you'll be doing it in different seasons, Autumn, Winter, Summer, and Spring! You'll have to repair railway sections, repair railway stations so you'll be able to unload train cargos full of supplies, such as Ore or food, Trade merchants for tools needed for the job at hand, chase away Bandits, rescue Settlers, and build them houses to collect rent, catch cows and corral them into pens to get food (apparently, cows provided people with ears of corn back in the Wild West days?) and of course, you'll have to clear obstacles, mine gold, gather food, remove traps, and chop down lots of trees as well as hire extra workers. Some tasks require two or more available workers, and workers assigned to cut wood at the sawmill, for example, can be "unhired" if you need them for another task. In both versions, each scene has a hidden Yustas owl that peeks out from behind a bush, there are 60 "Wanted Owls" total. There are a ton of features included, 51 Town improvements, 50 Settlers & Indians to rescue, 30 Bandits, to arrest, 300 Houses to build, 50 Wigwams to build, 100 sections of Railway to repair, 1,000 Letters to collect, and 5 Shooting Ranges to shoot pop-up bandits and ducks, in both versions (reminds me of the Golden Trails HOG), so no one's getting bored with this game! There are also several Bonuses that are added at certain levels, 4-8-1-5-18-22-24-29-33-36-39-and 45. The bonuses help speed up workers, produce more resources, etc. The Collector's Edition version has 50 main levels and 10 CE levels. There are also 60 Collectible Owls, 4 Wallpapers, 5 Shooting Ranges, and 5 Music Soundtracks as well as a Built-in Strategy Guide that show where the Collectible Owls are located. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Arcades Are Tough A fun TM got better with new addicting levels. Same great graphics. New challenging levels will keep you busy in timed mode. A town to build by earning stars. The music however has not improved since the last game in the series. You have 3 modes, no time, normal timed, hard time. As in the last game you have owl character easter eggs to find. Once found they do not need to be refound even if you hit replay at the end of the level before completion. There are bragging awards as well as extra stuff usually found in other games like desktop pictures. You can earn all the stars needed in untimed mode to completely rebuild the town. You have arcade levels where you have a shootout with varmints where you earn 3 stars. It's easy in untimed but hard in timed. You need to get 3 stars in 2 of those to complete the town. I completed every level in normal timed but could not win enough stars from the arcade levels to complete the town.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Level 11 When I complete all of the objectives for level 112 the game gets stuck. The timer stops, there's a green circle where the crooks hideout has been destroyed, I can continue to make it rain, gather food. Is anyone else having this problem?
