Polygon Art 5 is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from at ease This is a soothing game. After a hard, challenging day, it is good to sit down with this color by numbers game and not have to think or be stressed. The music is soothing and calms your spirit. I also like that it is easy on the eyes and because the numbers only show when you are using them you don't have to squint to find them. I recommend this game to anyone who wants a stress free experience. This game will really calm your nerves.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Developer Missing an Opportunity to Make More Fun This game is basically a paint by number. Relaxing if you just want some mindless coloring and the pictures, once finished, are pleasing and textured, but pretty basic. However, I believe this would be the perfect game to 'hide the picture' in a completely covered page of polygon shapes. The way the numbers appear only as you do them lends itself perfectly to this premise. It would add a level of fun and anticipation to see how soon you could guess the picture before it is completely revealed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Large Pictures-No Challenge This is your usual "Paint By Numbers" game but the end results are textured and nice. There is no challenge as all I did was hold down my mouse and go over the picture to fill in the correct spaces-couldn't make a mistake even when I tried to. You must finish the first set of 8 before you can go deeper into the game, but once you have finished the first 8 pictures you can then do any of the remaining ones, which I found to be nice. The pictures however do not get any more challenging than the 1st and 2nd group. I do recommend this game for beginners or for those who want a truly mindless game. Give it a whirl

Rated 1 out of 5 by from AS BASIC AND PLAIN JANE AS A PAINTING GAME COULD POSSIBLY BE! My review sounds like a broken record, but this developer fails to see the bigger picture in this geometrical Polygon Art game once again. You don't even have to download this game, just look at the BF synopsis pictures, who exactly are they trying to please because no adult would think these are interesting images with beautiful colors and I know for fact kids wouldn't care about them! The good stuff: -for the 1st time, the developer is using slightly different color hue variations which gives it somewhat of a 3 dimensional appearance. -The geometrical shapes have several advantages, it gives dimension and makes objects look like crystal, there's no need for those hideous thick black lines, the shapes are easier to see than most shapes in the paint by numbers games. -I loved that only the current number was visible, the next number shows up when the previous number is complete (or the number is selected on the pad-no clutter) -the cursor is smaller The bad stuff: -The images are boring, really boring, and basic. -The colors are always bland. The polygon shapes are huge, making the images super easy and the levels are completed in a snap. -Images aren't saved if you can't complete them and have to close the game. -Did I mention the picture selection is dreadful? -Did I mention I can only choose pictures within the current level -This is an Art game, why are all the pictures of a single item, why can't the background be involved as well? -I appreciate that you have finally added color hue variations, but just about any modern running computer can easily identify 16,777,216 different colors...take advantage of at least SOME of them! -Why do so many of the pictures involve fruit? Let's compromise, I'll eat fruit while playing, how about nature and animals for the pictures, preferably the ones I don't eat? -Why can't I have more than one cursor option? (I don't eat those ;) I don't actually see a bright side with this particular version. It may be time to call it quits on this series (Polygon Art) Please join us at my new forum, thewoodsforum.boards.net

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Boring, Boring, Boring! Did I Mention Boring? This game is really sad. The first level went in a flash as each picture can be finished in less than 2 minutes, so I able to check out all the levels. I always check the demo, hoping for improvements. Sadly, none here! Every single image is very juvenile, unappealing and way too simple to complete even with all the tiny segments to color. The colors designated for each pic are awful, the ample palette is of no use. There are 64 amazing (NOT) pictures in today's release. For example we have a bowling pin, top hat, padlock, magnifying glass, spyglass, mitten and a very ugly cake. The art is missing in Polygon Art. I think this series should be laid to rest. This dev is capable of much better. There are top quality games out there, but we too often see the bottom of the barrel. BFG doesn't seem to pay attention to quality anymore. Yes, I could just shut up and ignore the inferior games. But the negative reviews deserve notice. If they are dismissed improvements will never occur, which is bad for both the devs and the gamers. However, as seen here, some devs just carry on as usual and couldn't care less. We all have different likes, so give the demo a try. Maybe Polygon Art 4 has just what you need to brighten up your day.
