Sudoku Vacation is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Takes me back to my train journeys to work I would first like to say that it is great to have a second day with something a bit different. When Sudoku became a phenonomon I used to sit on the 5am train in to work in London and do the soduko puzzle even before I started working and it would set me up for the day. It is a very simple game, no thrills here in the flash dept but it is really good for setting you up for the day and keeps the brain in check. All about the numbers and this game has 600 levels including the brick games so plenty to do here if you like this sort of thing. I think with this its either love it or hate it. My work colleagues used to hate it but hey that was there loss and we are all different. No timers here just various degrees of difficulty and you can go to which ever of the 3 difficulties you like. Great way to start your day off and for me a buy straight away, Try the demo and see if it is your cup of tea and well done BF for trying something different

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! A Great One From Seven Sails! I'm a crossword gal since early childhood, but I enjoy sudoku occasionally. It requires lots of thought and patience, at least for me. A sudoku puzzle really taxes my brain and I'm not one to turn away from a good challenge. Placing the numbers within the grid, properly, is not so easy. They cannot be repeated in a square, column or row. But it's fun! Sudoku lovers will find this game to be a dream come true. Seven Sails has put a lot of creative work into it. It is not just a piddly little game, thrown together to make a buck. This dev always brings us quality entertainment and has been at it for a long time. I've been a fan for ages. My goodness! 450 levels of logic-based puzzles, 3 levels of difficulty, Hint feature, nice background music. However, there is no Skip feature which I really think should have been included. Frustration can get crazy sometimes with sudoku and it makes more sense to escape rather than use hints all the way to the end of a puzzle. Even though sudoku isn't a game I would reach for on a regular basis, it is a good one to have on hand when I want to challenge myself with something other than HOPAs and M3s. Knowing it may grow cobwebs on my game shelf, I purchased it anyway. It never hurts to give your brain a good workout from time to time. And this dev is one of the best!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PLAYING THE NUMBERS GAME OPINON: Now where should I put that 8? Oh no! I have two 3's in this row. That is what you will be saying to yourself as you play this numbers game. While scratching your head trying to figure out where to place the numbers from 1 through 9 within a grid, enjoy listening to some calming island music which may allay some of the frustration you may endure figuring out the numerical sequence of these puzzles. There is no story behind this game – just grids to fill in with numbers, all set to Caribbean music. I love sudoku games; however, they are few and far between. Most that I play are in puzzle magazines. This is another stellar game from a developer who has a wide repertoire of games he produces. And he is a nice guy as well as being a fantastic game designer. As a member of the Pond Friends forum, he visits often, providing information on his upcoming games as well as providing help with problems we may encounter within his games. So, although I don't write reviews for daily games, I feel it necessary to praise a well-crafted game by a gifted game designer. MECHANICS: Statistically, this game will not appeal to everyone! It is a numbers game and its appeal rests with those who enjoy logic and/or math—oriented games. *450 levels of sudoku *150 Brick style puzzles *Difficulty levels – easy, medium, and hard * 2 varieties of puzzles – standard sudoku and brick. *Background music – Caribbean music. * Hint Button but no skip button HOW TO PLAY: STANDARD SODUKU. All these games follow a sequence. Place the numbers from 1 through 9 within the grid consisting of nine (9) 3 x 3 squares (3 per row and 3 per column) so that each square has every number from 1 through 9 and that each row and column has each number as well. Numbers cannot be repeated in a square, row, or column. BRICK. . It is a variation of sudoku, in which the numbers from 1 through 9 must be placed into the squares so that each row and column has each number between 1 through 9. Each brick consists of 2 squares and must have one even and one odd number. Each row and column must contain all numbers from 1 through 9 with none repeated within a row nor column . HISTORY: Sudoku has a curious history. It did not originate in Japan as many believe. The 18th century Swiss mathematician Leonhard Eulu apparently developed the concept of a “Latin square,” ,where a number in a grid appears only once, across, up and down. Dell Magazine in the United States began publishing in the 1970s what is now known as Sudoku. It was developed by an independent puzzle maker, Howard Games. FINAL NOTE: Although it won’t appeal to everyone, we aficionados, hope to see more of these puzzle games in the future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sudoku fan Sorry team, I am a huge fan of Sudoku and this one is not fun at all . Once you complete one type number in the puzzle it doesn't eliminate that number from future choices. Pencil notes are not easy. don't recommend this game. BF is really getting sloppy on new games
