Redemption Cemetery: Dead Park Collector's Edition is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dead park delivers summer fun Great amusement park game with spooky theme. Perfect for a mid-summer game for those who enjoy a haunted element. Players have the chance to feel like they are at the grounds themselves by popping balloons, playing cards and shooting colored skulls. Morphing skulls are slow to appear and are a challenge to find. They are later used to buy items to spruce up your own amusement park scene. The HOGs are mostly carnival themed and gorgeous. My favorite was an abandoned swan ride in a lake. The story follows the tradition in these games of maneuvering through obstacles that will change the course of wrongful deaths and saving souls. I always enjoy the Redemption Cemetery series, and this one is a worthy addition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This game has it all! Suspense, interesting mini-games and various type of HO-scenes - if it hadn't this terrible face which one can see here above, it would have been perfect. I get scared from it and i would not even have tried the game - but luckily someone recommended it to me - and it's really a great game, perfectly built and a lot of pleasure to play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It never lets you down. Once again I'm thrown into Redemption Cemetery. It starts out with a call … The call brings you to an amusement park that isn't very amusing at all. There has been quite a few disappearances and you find a malevolent force at work growing stronger on the souls. You must now head in and save the souls of the three people who, if saved, will each stop part of the evil's growth. You will travel through time and portals fighting the evil and saving each soul by going back and undoing what was done. I found myself totally involved with the various side projects you needed to do that I was often shocked when I returned to the original quest. Follow a map and do something at each stop from putting together a puzzle to placing objects in their proper places. You have so much more to do then the usual hunt and click of an HOH game. The storyline runs through its course smoothly and completely, video and everything else in keeping with Redemption. Even the bonus game is a game on it's own. I expected a quick run through but there was a whole new short story. As usual, Redemption did it again! It kept me leisurely busy for a few days! Now when's the next one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from lakeside 36/57 chapter 4 Really good game. Was enjoying it like all the other Redemption Park games. But, came to the hop after lakeside, after doping the lion with the hot dog, found the paint brush would not connect to the palette of paint, to complete the elephant on the canvas, to receive the trampoline, so end of game for me, even played the game again, stayed the same. First time ever happened.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amax hit this one out of the park. Great addition to the Redemption Cemetery series. This is a home run for Amax. This game is very much reminiscent of the first few games in this series, back when games were really well made. I haven't played more than the demo so far so I hope it remains as good after the demo, but what I did play I really enjoy! We are going to save 3 souls in a creepy old amusement park. The creep factor is there, the music and sounds I just love, the games and the hidden objects thus far have been fun and right at my comfort level, not too hard but not super easy either. Graphics as always are just fantastic and the music is perfect for each scene. I would highly recommend this game!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Redemption Cemetery: Dead Park best game of the year. I have always enjoyed Redemption Cemetery games. AMAX has come up with some real stinker games recently but this one definitely does not fall into that category. This review is based on the demo. From the very beginning you are wrapped into the story of Obsidian who needs souls in order to manifest himself into the world. The story is told to you by the Cashier who tells you to look for the box dated 1950 to rescue the first soul. I've always been a little afraid of amusement parks because of a scary fun house ride I went on with my brother against my parents' wishes. And all the loud noises of the midway, the rides and barkers for every attraction. So, this game fits right into that childhood scare for a spooky game. Obsidian is a particularly scary looking Reaper. The HO's are fun with interaction which may have a mini HO within them. The mini games have just the right challenge. There isn't any faulty logic in the demo that I have come across and the game flows from puzzle to HO seamlessly. And in the demo there are plenty of puzzles and HO's. The graphics are the typical great Redemption Cemetery type. No garish colors, no purple fog. I loved this demo and it held my attention for the full 90 minutes. It is seldom that I have played demos recently that held my attention for the full 90 minutes. To me this has to be the best game of the year! I definitely recommend this game and will be buying it, but as always, play the demo before you buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of HO's! I thoroughly enjoyed this game, graphics, story line and most of all the HO's! especially liked that each victim's story was separate, giving me an opportunity to stop play and when I returned not have to try and remember where the tools I picked up along the way needed to be used.....thanks AMAX!
