Argonauts Agency: Captive of Circe Collector's Edition is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great game, I love this game, but I also liked the other ones like this one. These are fun for me. I have on the second level and the challenge is there.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Repetitive OK, if it is the first time you play an Argonauts Agency game. When you played the whole series, it's not worth buying. Nothing new, except a more sustained pace which makes it more difficult to reach the three stars on the first attempt. Some other little changes which aren't innovative enough to maintain my interest...Dont even talk about the storyline ; I hope you guys are going to read the excellent Heroes by Stephen Fry, to get the right idea about Jason, the Golden Fleece and others

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just sick of the same game I didnt like much last time I could easily have just given this two stars, going into 'dislike', but I had to be fair for the game in its own right and say if you have the patience and lack of introduction to the series you may find it ok. It is the most basic gather resources game, wood, food, gold etc..clear the path. In this further addition to the series only one other feature has been added, getting the characters to stand on buttons at the same time to bring down the barriers. (I will admit that is up to demo over time), Is a collectors edition? Well it finally has all the bells and whistles, a strategy guide (?) in the corner of screen, achievements, wallpapers, music and even a lucky dip chest every few levels. But it still seems to just leave me cold and sick of the repetitiveness. (series and gameplay) I find the worst thing about it is that unless I am prepared to just sit there for half hours or more. spin after spin, playing a slot machine (that I cant make stop till its ready), to earn my upgrades for speed and performance..it becomes to hard to beat the clock if you don't!! That's the main deal breaker! One unique feature of this game is that unlike other TM's you do not have to clear the road in front of you in order. You can leap ahead (as long as rock or bush is not blocking you) to get to wood or gold or to upgrade a building.(get second worker) etc. In fact often the only way to make time. You go back and get your other stuff later. Once again..if you have never played the series, its just ok. If you have played even one other game, there's nothing here to see. There is a relax mode. It's just not for me, I have a couple already, and I just plain do not have the time or the patience for the spin for bonus feature. Try the demo, it may just be my personal taste being familiar with the series..

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OH LOOK, THEY CHANGED THE TITLE! We have been treated to some fantastic TM games lately, but this isn't one of em! When I saw that today's release was another Argonauts Agency, I was positive it would be a game with no creativity, no challenge, no imagination, and no new features, but mostly, it would be chock-full of annoying, repetitive, back-and-forth, to-and-fro tasks of rowing a boat to a tiny port, just to pick up a loaf of bread and fill a pot-hole. Not to my surprise, there was no surprise or prize from this Argonauts Agency, it was exactly what I was expecting! Constantly having to restore ports and row my boat back and forth to gather a simple loaf of bread left randomly on a path on several tiny islands just isn't fun, it's boring, and it's exactly the same scenario as the last game, and the game before that, and the game before that, I'm confident it will be the same task in the fifth installment as well. To make matters worse, they threw in a simultaneous button-pushing task where you have to send two workers to two different buttons to push at the same time, how clever (yes, I was being sarcastic) these islands have technologically advanced gate portals yet I still have to hop in my tiny canoe and row my way to the nearby islands and scour the islands for berries & breadcrumbs?? You can play in an Untimed, Normal or Hard difficulty mode and it allows you to switch back and forth easily before the start of each level with an icon located above the levels. I do like this feature because sometimes it's helpful to play the first go-round in an untimed mode to figure out what the requirements are, such as what materials are needed for each task (bridges, boulders, etc) and then play the level again in a normal or hard mode, especially when a TM game requires a lot of strategies. Once you have collected 5-Stars, you get to open a Treasure Chest located on the bottom left of the Map screen which allows you to choose one of three smaller chests to earn extra resources, faster workers etc. by a percentage, temporarily. Bonuses can be won by spinning a Casino Slot Machine with Crystals as the currency. You will earn 10 Crystals every 5 minutes you play (why not leave the game running overnight?) The bonuses are % based and become more worthy the higher the percentage: ??Sandals~speeds up the characters. ??Axe~cut down trees faster. ??Shovel~fill holes faster. ??Sword~monster battle time reduced. ??Hammer~speeds up construction. ??Pick~speeds stone breaking time. There's really nothing different here than any other TM game. Build Farms for food, Sawmills for wood, Gold Mines, Quarries for stone and Markets for trading food for specific materials such as Stone or Gold. There are the usual Berry Bushes for a renewable food source, as well as the usual path blockers of thorney vines, potholes, conveniently cut & stacked wood, boulders, puddles, and bread loaves that somehow gets left strategically on a blocked path just when you need it the most, not to mention random caches of gold coins. Once again, the only features offered in this Collector's Edition version, are 10 Concept Art pictures and 5 Music Soundtracks, and a few extra levels in the Additional Campaign section. There are 31 Achievements to earn, but the trophies are usually still included within the Standard Edition versions. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not different enough for me but others may like it I have the first game in this series and enjoyed it but this is the 4th in this series and in my opinion its a repeat of all the others with very little difference. What I did like was the buttons feature. I do not think it is worth the extra for a CE and maybe if you like the demo then wait for the SE. Did not like the graphics but that is personal choice

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Same Old Thing It's like this game was copied and pasted. Same thing as last time and the time before that...on and on. Collect, pound and run. Period. Oh, my kingdom for a new TM game that has the wow factor. This ain't it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Totally Boring I don't believe I have ever tried a game so brain numbing boring. It's basic construct was gathering. Did this ever get into anything other than gathering food and supplies to turn around and gather more food and supplies? Apparently the only challenge in that would be to get'er done under a certain time limit. Seriously? Is this what game are being designed for? So for those who don't wish to play under time limits has the repetitive function of gathering, then gathering, then gathering. It doesn't matter how great the graphics are, the sound is or any other part of it. A game is meant to be worth paying for. This one and too darn many others are not worth the money. They are not entertaining at all.
