Haunted Manor: Remembrance Collector's Edition is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bizarro Dark and sinister. How do homes feel? They are quotes from the game. Maybe that's why I didn't see the end coming. The game is bizarre. I found it entertaining, not that I want all my games like this. Once in a while is good. I didn't like the beta. I used a full punch card to give it a chance for free. Then I was playing a while and wanted the Eipix extras so I upgraded it to a CE. I believe this is the last Eipix game. Has a good indicator. Found 34 stain glass pieces, 14 morphs in the hops and 20 souvenirs. Four Chapters+ bonus. Replay 14 hops, 21 mini-games, 5 videos and 8 music. Eight wallpapers and eight concept art. Three panel Stained glass picture from the stain glass pieces you find. Beautiful. I will sadly miss Eipix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Different for a change This is probably one of the stargest games I have found in a long time. Right up my alley. No same old boring stuff here. Totally amazing! It took me a while to figure out what was going on, but once I figured it out, I was impressed. Don't get frustrated. Stick it out and play. This game makes me it came straight from an acid trip in the 60 and just got brought to life! Great color and graphics, odd details unlike anything I've seen. A fun, excellent game for a change of pace.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Different can sometimes make you uncertain This game is very different. Troubling issue of mental illness. Developer deserves support for taking on this difficult subject. This is no point and and click, hold your hand game. You must think, and sometimes it hurt my soul to think of a child in this situation. Controls are very logical. Mini-games are woven into the story and not used as time wasters to extend the game play. Collectibles are well blended and morphs are not obvious. A truly adult game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic game Wow, this one hit the mark for me in every way. Certainly not a horror game, but a very interesting psychological thriller. And no, it is not about mental illness - none of the characters are mentally ill, but it is a journey of discovery that leads you to a conclusion quite likely much different than what you thought at the beginning of the game. Saying anything more would be a major spoiler, so I will leave it at that. I am admittedly not a fan of Eipix games, but this one was truly outstanding. A unique storyline that I have not seen before, with twists and turns & a satisfying ending. I had to double check that Eipix actually made this one, it is so different from their usual. I highly recommend this game!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I thoroughly enjoyed this game! I am a longtime fan of EIPIX games, but this one really stood out for me. I particularly liked the storyline and the psychological aspects of the game. I loved the trippy level design, and it was nice not to see the same old puzzles that I see in so many other games of this genre. It was definitely creepy, but not in the usual sense of creepiness with skeletons, witches, bats, and so on Rather, this was a psychological creepiness that I found quite intriguing I hope to see more games like this one from EIPIX!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compelling storyline. Well done. Great psychological thriller. Balance of puzzles and HO's was just right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a psychological thriller with a side of spooky Based on the completed demo only My actual rating is 4.5* I am a huge fan of psychological thrillers. I found the storyline different from the norm. I was vested and couldn't wait to find out what happens to the characters. I will wait to buy the SE because the CE content wasn't enough for me. I would have bought the CE if it had had a screensaver. I really liked this game; some things more than others. What I loved: ~The thumbnail pictures when a character was speaking. It is so helpful to learn the characters better and who it is I'm playing as. ~DIARY! I haven't seen a decent storyline journal like this since the starting days of HOPA's. This is a convoluted storyline and this game really benefitted from having it. I felt so much more vested in the characters by having a background and story refresher. ~Character presentation: These look like live actors and it was perfectly rendered. The little girl was adorable and endearing. ~ Time change- I loved how this game brought us to a different time. It helps the game to not feel monotonous. ~The special effects in the "Hallway" of the face and hand pressing through the wall in 3D. ~The hair over the mom's eyes upped the creepy factor. What I didn't like as much (minor in comparison to my likes): ~A little too much looping music. I just prefer the environmental sounds for long stretches of game play. In this game, the environmental sounds were on the same options slider as the actual "game effect sounds". I find a lot of the game effect sounds annoying and sometimes I won't even buy a game if they can't be disabled. ~Strange-land- I really dislike when a game turns a grounded reality into some strange dream state that has chairs on the ceiling and weird alternate realities. I would prefer if they had kept the time change but not go SO overboard with the "weird". If you liked this psychological thriller you may want to demo these that I felt were similar. 1. Mysteries of the mind: Coma (an older game though, with no portal maps) 2. Harrowed Halls #1: Lakeview Lane (a psych. thriller with a very similar feel) 3. Lake House: Children of Silence (also an older game with no map) One of my favorite things about this demo was a sign you find in the refrigerator that states: "Stop global warming! Save our planet!” I couldn't agree more. I can't wait for this release as an SE so I can purchase and finish the game. Thank you Eipix! This spooky game was so well done, especially in time for Halloween :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY ENJOYABLE This is the type of EIPIX games i am used to. The puzzles were challenging and not the same type you see in most HO games. The puzzles were not ridiculously difficult where you have to pull out a scientific calculator to solve, and they were not monotonous. The graphics were very well done. Beautiful scenes. The story line was a little weak. Overall, really enjoyed the game wholeheartedly. Great Work EIPIX!!
