Shopping Clutter 6: Love is in the air is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Game About Love All the games of the Shopping Clutter series are bright, interesting and unique in its own way. Their releases are often related to holidays. Now, Valentine's Day is on turn. According to the plot of the game, the Valentine's Day is at the same time a wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Walkers. The whole family is working on arranging the Valentine's Day celebration, everyone is on search for gifts and valentine cards, and the kids decorate the house for the romantic supper of their parents. It's so nice and pretty! The objects on all levels are absolutely new. The first levels are rather easy. That’s good because a player has enough time to get accustomed to new objects and remember them before the levels where are only the silhouettes or divided to several parts items. Farther, the levels become much more different. I played the game using the time limitation, and sometimes I was forced to replay the most difficult levels to complete a level before the time is up. I like such challenge levels when the victory is not too easy to achieve but simultaneously it doesn't irritate the player making him or her replay the same level dozens of times. The majority of the objects on the levels are related to the theme of love and Valentine's Day: there are valentine cards, cupids, love potions, fluffy toys, heart-shaped jewelries, candies, cakes, dresses etc. I played all the previous games of this series but this time I couldn't shake the feeling that I'm playing something new and extremely fascinating. Only the good old Walkers reminded me that it's the same Shopping Clutter I adore. The music and the ambient sounds are should be mentioned separately. They also create a special atmosphere of love all around, and at the same time they don't distract from the game process. All in all, the game exceeds all the expectations and leaves only the positive impression.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite game series! Shopping Clutter is my favorite game series. In the Love is in the Air there’s many changes to the look and feel of the game, and I’m super excited about the latest release in the Shopping Clutter series. Developers really hear our feedback and suggestions and do their best to improve the gameplay and the visuals! Firstly, they did a major overhaul of all in-game items. They have replaced all the objects except probably the one – the hot dog! I guess their level designer loves hot dogs and couldn’t take his favorite snack away. So, the hot dog is here to stay! The next improvement concerns the difficulty of the game. If you have a more laidback approach to puzzle solving – don’t worry! The easy mode will continue to provide you with a relaxed experience. However, if you’re up for more than an easy-peasy–lemon-squeezy action, the difficult mode will now bring you a more challenging gameplay than it was before. Even the experienced players might be surprised by what we have prepared! Yet if you are a new player but want to try out a difficult mode – don’t feel discouraged! You can always switch to the easy mode for a particular level, and then continue playing in the difficult mode. Hints might also help you out on trickier levels, and same as before, you can always use the stars to replenish the hint meter! As a cherry on top, developers improved in-game audio. Relaxing ambient sounds and beautiful background music are now added to the game to make your experience as smooth as it’s ever been. I’m sure you’ll love it. I think everybody loves the changes and have a blast playing the latest Shopping Clutter game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love is in the Air! Sooo true! I really love this game, the items are so catchy, beautiful, romantic. All of it brings me Valentines Day feeling already. Game is so cute with all these Valentines details! The fact that you can't move items around on some levels makes the game more interesting, challenging I would say.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent game with new challenges!! I rarely do reviews...however, I love the challenge of this installment. There are new challenges, the game mechanisms are new and fresh. There are levels I had to skip but you have to complete them to move on to the next chapter. I am not complaining at all....I love a challenge. Keep them coming. This is great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from About those items that you can't move -- I really enjoy clutter style games so I added this to my collection pretty quickly. It's a lot of fun to play and I like the new items and features. But, I do have to say it is a bit of a problem when small items are hidden behind larger items and you can't move anything around to get to the smaller items. Many times when I hit the hint button, several items had to move/open up for me to get to what I needed for a match - but I could not move those items myself. That's the reason I knocked off one star. I don't play the timed version for points, so it's a bit less frustrating for me than for someone who is playing the timed version. I am thoroughly enjoying the game, but if I was playing the timed version, I would be a little bugged by those items I wouldn't be able to get to. I think Annatar has a valid point in her review.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from BETTER GRAPHICS & INCREASED LEVEL OF CHALLENGE...BUT IS IT ENOUGH? I appreciate the fact that this developer keeps tweaking each new game in the series in an effort to gain new Walker family Clutter fans and appease their original fan-base. Love is in the Air is definitely an improvement as far as being more challenging and the graphics have significantly improved, but try as I may, I just don't see the "it factor" it still doesn't knock me off my computer chair or blow my socks off with excitement. It's still just a take it or leave it kind of game, it doesn't do the same thing for me as the original clutter-meister's games do, I don't get that same urgency to scramble to hit the buy now button. Perhaps it's the lack of customizations and features, perhaps the lack of clutter variations, perhaps it's because they release several games a year, making it feel like a mass-produced, same-ole, same-ole kinda game, perhaps it's the unappealing and uninteresting Clutter Objects (nothing says I love you like a bowling pin) perhaps it's just a personal issue where I'm comparing apples to oranges? (but then again, the average rating for all 6 games is just a tad over a 3-star rating) Whatever the reason, I did give this game an extra star for the improvement and for the effort put forth. There are two modes of difficulty, Easy Mode which has no time restraints, and a Difficult, Limited-time Mode that gives you extra points for completing the level,100 points multiplied by the number of items remaining on the transporter, +10 points for every second remaining on the timer, and +500 points for every unused Hint feature. There are 140 Clutter-type levels that can be replayed if you want to earn a better score. After playing 7 Clutter levels, you can play a Jigsaw Puzzle variation such as Square Tile Swaps (adjacent, diagonal, etc.) or Sliders (20 Total Puzzles) Clutter Variations: ?Matching Pairs ?Triplets ?Related Items ?Themed Items ?Transparent Items ?Same Size ?Different Size ?Same Colors ?Different Colors ?Pastel Shapes ?De-Clutter (move items from piles & match) ?Buried Items in unmovable piles Some levels have objects that can be moved out of the way, some levels don't allow you to move any objects. This was a good concept, however, I was forced to restart a level because smaller objects were completely covered by larger objects and couldn't be seen or even random-clicked because they weren't accessible!. Some levels have continually moving paths that you are forced to wait for eons until they round the corner to expose smaller hidden objects that are covered by larger objects. Each scene has a ton of GIANT Sun Emblems scattered among the junkpiles to recharge the Hint Meter, seriously, what's the ratio of the number of objects required to find versus how many Sun Hints there actually are? Rated 3 out of 5 by from The items can't be moved anymore! I was so happy to see yet another one of the Walker Shopping Clutter games, because they had developed to contain everything I love in a clutter game. I loved that they have a timer-free option, and I loved that all the clutter could be moved around freely on almost all boards. Some boards had the clutter moving in specific patterns, and then you couldn't move it. But on all other boards, you could move the items, sort them and uncover them. This latest game has all the same things that I love, EXCEPT that the items can't be moved anymore! The boards look just like those in previous games, where we could move stuff around, but this time the instruction says: "All the items cannot be moved." At first I thought this looked like a typo, but it's true - none of the items can be moved anymore. I managed to play through several chapters of levels during the trial period, and I only found 3 boards in total where items COULD be moved. Since the layouts of the boards are just as cluttered as in the previous games, especially on those boards where everything lies in a huge clutter heap, it makes the boards very much harder when you cannot move anything away, because the top clutter hides everything underneath it and there is no way of getting to it when you cannot move anything. I am extremely dissappointed by this, and I'm still wondering if this is a flaw or a bug, and not really meant to be this way. I kept hoping that as I advanced through the episodes, they would allow more boards to have moveable clutter, but no. And when the difficulty increased, with floating bubbles and unpaired items that kept being added to the board (well known challenges from the previous games), it became impossible to complete these boards without being able to move the clutter out of the way, or sort out those items you needed. I have loved every single one of the Walker games, both the Shopping Clutters and the Travel Mosaics, and I have bought them all. But this time - for the very first time ever - I cannot buy their game. Not when the levels become impossible to complete because they have removed (or failed to include) a very essential part of the gameplay. I'm still not sure if they really meant to remove the ability to move the clutter, or if this is a bug or a flaw that they failed to fix in their hurry to release this Valentine game in time. For now, I will bide my time and see if there will be an update with a fix available, or if they really *intended* it to be this way. As it is now, I'm very sad to say I cannot buy it since the boards become increasingly unplayable. All I can do is to hope that they will re-instate the option of moving the items in their next game. I will wait until then.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing again I was happy to find another Shopping Clutter but this one again is disappointing. SC Christmas Square and Blooming Tale are two of my favourite go-to games. SC was unique because you could move the objects around which made it stand out from other clutter games but now with this feature gone, it's lost the fun factor. This is why I'm not recommending the game. Also it's too fast paced for me too because I'm sure there was more time on the clock in previous versions to complete each game. (Playing easy mode is too easy with no challenge.) I'm glad I used a free coupon.
