Rated 5 out of 5 by from More fun adventures in this series. I play in the previous Alice's Wonderland series, so I was excited to see this one. I love the graphics, storyline and challendge of levels. I had to restart a few levels ! Love it! More like this please!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Game, Now About Those Hint Rings.... My opinion: one of the finest resource management games around, cleverly diverse, with more than two ways to get your gold stars. Three modes but hard mode is the one-- putting all your skills to the test, level after carefully thought-out level. Basically, it's Alice and the Tweedle guys interacting with various creatures in Wonderland, some familiar, some new. The elements of building and collecting are there, but accomplished in novel ways. Yes, the workers go back to the house after every task, there is no queuing. You can chain tasks but that can easily work against you at times. Built into many levels are crafted methods to circumvent the familiar in order to get gold-time. I love it. There is a puzzle cup and paint palette as extras to find but this is distracting in hard mode. Low priority for me. You can disable hints, music, custom pointer and tutorials but there are these hint rings and get this: they don't always show green. They can show red but you can still access the obstacle. Confounding at times. Graphics quality is still meh: often muddy with very little animation compared to some other games out there. But the structure and challenge are so well done, I'm charmed out of penalizing for it. Looking forward to a third one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OOOOOOOOOH - Happy Easter to me!! I replayed the original Alice in Wonderland only last week and wished there was another, and lo-and-behold, here is another! What a wonderful Easter present for someone who hasn't got an Easter egg due to the lock-down. I buy all of these type of games, the first Alice joined the ranks of Dracula and Northern Tales as my three favourites as far as game play goes, so a new Alice episode has absolutely made my day. My only regret is that it wasn't released two days ago during the 65% off sale. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent relaxing game! I really recommend this game Alice 2! I've already got a lot of achievements and finished all levels :D In this part you can meet only plenty of quality sounds, funny arts with deep colors and a good story of Alice and her friends! I believe that the creator's team will give us more subjects and atmosphere puzzles with challenges!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OH TWEEDLES, THE QUEEN OF SPADES HAS ME ON PINS & NEEDLES! ♠ Tweedle Two Looks Like Tweedle One, As For The White Rabbit, He's Gone, I Have None! ♠ The Mad Hatter Simply Can't Be Found, Which Leads Me To Suspect Foul Play Is Abound! ♠ The Queen of Spades, Now She's A Dandy, Wish I Could Feed Her Some Tainted Candy! ♠ Alice Fell Asleep While Reading A Book. She Woke Up In Wonderland, It's True, Take A Look! ♠ Hurry, Hurry, Don't Be Late, Join Me In Wonderland, Her Fate Awaits! ♠ I wasn't a fan of the first game it's true, the colors were ugly in shades of gold hues. Now they are beautiful with purples, pinks, and blues! The developer surely listened, tho I tried not to be rude! If we could replace the peppermint candy that tastes really gross, how 'bout some chocolate and wine for a toast? There are 40 Main Levels +12 CE Bonus Levels, that can be played in a Relaxed, Normal or Challenge difficulty mode, and 29 Trophy Achievements to earn. In this CE version, each level has a Teacup that the Cheshire Cat has hidden to create a Mad Tea Party Puzzle. (one section says there are 36 Hidden Teacups, another says there are 40???) Each scene also has a hidden Art Palette that allows you to "paint" 3 Concept Art pictures...sort of. You don't actually get to paint the pictures in with beautiful colors, it simply completes the sketches in three sections for each concept art picture. This could have been a really cool paint by numbers feature, instead, it was just a big letdown disappointment! (but at least you can still have fun searching for the palettes) The CE version also has 2 extra mini-games, concept art, wallpapers, soundtracks, bonus quests, additional character dialog, and 4 additional achievements. Once again, there is no Strategy Guide, at least not that I could find? In my opinion, a built-in SG is what makes a Collector's Edition worthy, especially when a game is based on strategy and wrong decisions can be made! Although the concept is the same, the features are clever. Alice must collect "Imagination" and read books before she can cast spells, the Tweedle workers need to collect Candy as their food source. There are still the usual TM tasks of building restoring Sawmills for wood, Mints for gold, Candy Factories for food supplies, repairing bridges, repairing potholes and cracks along the paths, removing stone and boulders, clearing debris, opening Treasure Chests, and gathering renewable resources from various Altars. Each level has a specified quest to complete for characters you meet along the journey, such as trimming trees, etc. The Bonuses are Magic Spells that last for about 20 seconds each, and each level usually has 3 different Spells available: ♠-Collect More Resources ♠-Run Faster ♠-Bargain Trade (resources traded at a better rate of 3-4) ♠-Get Candy Pile (generated on altars) ♠-Get Gold (generated on altars) ♠-Fill Altars ♠-Speed Up Workers ♠-Freeze Time ♠-Speed Up Production ♠-Endless Candy (obstacles are temporarily disabled-max 3 objects) ♠-Endless Gold (obstacles are temporarily disabled-max 3 objects) ALICE'S WONDERLAND SERIES LIST Title***Collector's Edition Release Date***Average Rating 1-Cast in Shadow (September 24-2019) 4.2 2-Stolen Souls (April 11-2020) n/a 3-Coming soon! by: Big City Lab LLC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of Fun..fast and smooth Well I enjoyed the first of this series and I am loving this one too. You cant really call it a 'standard' TM even though it is a gather, trade, upgrade and complete task gameplay, everything is just a little 'curious' in this world that just makes it feel different to everyday TM's Alice is back and only she can collect imagination needed for some tasks and exchanges, and to speak to the myriad of characters you meet along the way. The tweedles are back doing their share of the tasks, but I really notice they are much speedier in this one, in fact the game moves at a really good pace before any bonuses show up. You will collect candy from alters and from the factories, wood from the sawmills, gold from the mint..but you will also exchange your goods at imagination bushes, candy shrubs, and tree candy swaps. Alice needs to learn various spells along the way from books she must read. Some give resources..some just allow you to speak to characters or finish your tasks. The collectables: On each level there are puzzle cups that allow you to complete a jigsaw, and this time a colour palette that when you collect enough you can paint an artwork. If you miss these you can go back after getting your stars and take your time looking for them, as not only are they tiny..they both disappear if you don't grab them quickly! Your best star score will still stay on the level. The only quibble I have is the picture just fills in, and I would have loved to have been able to actually paint it myself. You will earn your bonuses and powerups in what they call knowledge points (experience)..and the better you do the faster you will get there. Some are just applied, and others pop up again in the also disappearing bonus wheel at the bottom. You get to know what they are. More speed, Candy piles, wood piles and you may need them to complete. There's plenty to do, the graphics are totally feel good fantasy, and your upgrade and direction strategy is important. So a standard TM with curious features and language, collectables that really are fun to find, and according to the spiel, 12 bonus levels (though don't know the base amount?) art to keep. There is a relax, timed and hard mode and yay..you can skip the dialogue too. Super smooth play and a delight for the eyes. Its going to keep me busy for a while with a smile on my face. Enjoy!.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Except for Bonus Levels I enjoyed the first game and this second game until I came to the bonus levels. I always choose the regular mode of play, so I was surprised when the bonus levels had a message warning that those were going to be hard. Now, if I purposely chose the normal mode, do you think I want "hard mode" for the bonus, especially since I would have paid extra for it if I hadn't gotten the special? Use some sense. It's no fun when levels are so hard you can't get three stars on them. Forget the CE as it's a waste. Just buy the regular version as that part is worth it. Now that is really fun.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from If you've played the first one You've played this I was looking forward to this as I enjoyed the first one however in my opinion there is very little difference. If you like a challenge then this is but its all in the first game apart from a few different characters. No strategy guide again which you expect in a CE.I was hoping for some difference in challenges but no. Don't get me wrong its a good game but not twice. I like that there is a decent demo time . You may be happy having a very similar game but its not for me.Try it, see how you feel. If you do not have the first then which ever one you choose you will enjoy but think carefully before getting both.
