Robin Hood: Winds of Freedom Collector's Edition is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm Sad It's Over! I just finished the game and I WANT MORE!! Really fun game. I like that it is different from the normal TM games. I found myself overthinking the strategy a lot and had to put on my thinking cap to figure it out. I did have to look at the guide on one level to help me. I hope there is a sequel to this. Thank you for a great game. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hidden Objects When I get a new game I always click on everything to see if there are hidden objects. There are in this game. I really enjoy this game and hope you do to!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Game! A Most Have I just wanted to pop in to say that I agreed with the higher rating reviews. I too was surprised by the initial low rating. I have the first one-CE and was waiting for a second one. Yes, the first few chapters are not very challenging. But don't be fooled, it gets more challenging after level 7.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much more challenging and still entertaining! I always play relaxed. Yet this version kept it challenging. I like the character choice and the new graphics. This is still a favorite for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Enjoyable I was surprised at the one star review. I feel that was a little harsh when they never played the game due to technical difficulties. I had no problems. I loved the first Robin Hood and while this version might not be the most challenging game (so far) I have ever played I found it to be entertaining and fun. It is a gather and build TMgame but also by level 9 you are encountering the guards which you need to set traps and distractions for. Also different around level 6 maybe 7 you have to choose 3 out of 5 characters with different abilities. to play the level with (I don’t remember this in the first Robin Hood). Up to you to decide which characters and abilities fit the level. Now is it worth the CE price? To me no, but I have no interest in music, wallpapers etc. but would not mind getting the extra levels to play. I will wait for the SE as much as I would like to get back to playing the game although with the sale I might just go ahead and buy. Decisions, Decisions! I recommend this game. As always give the demo a try you might or might not like it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It takes a few levels to get going I agree with Cyril. This game gives you the wrong impression early on but by level 14 its really good. Lots of things to do. A big fog that has to be cleared. Guards and Knights to get keys from to unlock gates and much more. If you like TM games I think you will love this one if given a chance. Maybe it's even better than the first one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from At first I was not sure but then I was excited when I first saw this game but then after 3 0r 4 levels I was a bit disappointed, No sheriff of Nottingham .I used to love shooting arrows at him. So I then thought this is very samey to the original game without the sheriff. I persevered and so glad I did as suddenly it changes, gets much more of a challenge. It changes at level 9 and then becomes such great fun and what a challenge. Others will be able to tell you more of an insight to the game. The problem is the first 8 levels are very alike the original so that is most of your demo time. I would strongly advise you to start on the relaxed level to get as far in to this game as you can. I am now at level 14 and loving it but could have just given up early. as to is it worth a CE . Usual debate here. There are 9 bonus levels and 45 normal levels. A strategy guide and the usual stuff I am not a fan of , wallpapers etc. I have bought this for the simple reason I can't wait till the SE arrives. This developer always updates games and at first you would think they have let us down but in my opinion they have not. This is a challenge even on relaxed and of course try the demo but just take heed of what I am saying here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hmmm Not Bad... This is a prolific games developer with so many good Resource Management games in its past, it's kind of hard to top its successes. This game, I'd say is "pretty good." It's not wildly innovative and it's not tops in the graphics department. It's easy to figure out how to go about it if you're used to these kinds of games. There's a mild challenge to figuring out what the tiny resource pictures are, and what some of the buildings produce, which I kind of like. You can adjust sounds, music, toggle pointer and turn off tutorial, which I suggest if you're familiar with games like this. Modes are Easy and Normal. One thing about any game from this developer: the scenes are colorful and alive with tiny animations: sunflowers and trees swaying, butterflies fluttering, water moving. This shows respect and regard to the players. Kudos! One nice addition: a Developer's score to beat. I'll probably get it sometime, on a sale, naturally. Nice game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bad reviews? The mission is to retrieve a stolen chest! If you read the dialogues they take you thru the journey and explain why things are done along the way. Not a hard game but still captivating and fun. I don't know the skill level or interest of the people giving bad reviews, however perhaps not every game is for everyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun game, but... I like this series. It's a lot of fun, the levels are good, there's interesting things to do and it takes some brainwork. My only complaint is that Marion is a stereotypical girl - only interested in makeup and things being pretty. Seriously? Why isn't she shooting arrows or planning strategy? Maybe the developers will develop her personality in the next game.
