Hermes: Sibyls' Prophecy Collector's Edition is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing new, still very challenging. No beginners game Based on completing game and bonus level on Normal (all level three stars): I loved this game, it is very challenging even for die hard TM players. I had to replay several levels to get my three star rating in the complete game. Bonus levels were a bit too easy for my taste. The game is self explanatory, you are guided to the higher levels as you play along. Even if there is nothing new in this game, I don't mind, I love playing games like this one (and the others in the serie)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I WAS TEETERING ON THE FENCE WITH MY RATING BUT...(?4.5?) Hermes: Sibyls' Prophecy has a new developer who has only created a few games, so I decided to push my star rating to 5-Stars rather than bump it down to 4-stars when I was teetering on the fence :) I wasn't crazy about the whole puffy cloud-scenario and the game seems to be very similar to the last Hermes as far as features and tasks, but it has some good strategies and you know how I love my Roman & Greek mythology! You can play in a Relaxed (untimed) Mode, Novice, or Expert Mode of difficulty over 50 Main Levels (+ 20 CE Bonus Levels) with 36 Achievement Trophies to earn. The Collector's Edition "Extra's" also includes 9 Music Soundtracks, 8 Concept Art Pictures, 7 Collectibles, and a Strategy Guide. Olive Trees and Olive Groves are the main sources of food, and the Olive Groves can even be upgraded! There are the normal TM tasks of clearing paths, collecting caches of jewels, repairing chariots, repairing bridges, mining stone, and gold, etc. and as you progress you will build, repair, and upgrade Banks for gold, Forges for weapons, Quarries for stone, or Sawmills for wood, hire more workers, and trade with vendors at the Market. Because Hermes is on a mission to prove to his father Zeus, that the sibyl prophecy is coming to fruition, he is gathering allies, one god at a time. Each level requires restoring the god's statue, therefore that god joins forces with Hermes and brings to the table a new ability (Artemis can create a path of clouds for example) Each level has a Hidden pile of Crates that are filled with various resources such as food and supplies and you may come across Feathers that will Increase the Power of the Gods. You will earn up to 3-Stars per level (3-stars are earned automatically in the Relaxed Mode) and those stars are used to rebuild the Acropolis which was damaged after the invasion of enemy armies. Each construction will give you a different type of booster, and each building can be upgraded to make the booster more powerful by a percentage: ACROPOLIS BOOSTERS *you don't have to wait on the upgrades to complete, just keep playing it will automatically apply when complete* •Erechtheum: makes workers run faster •Parthenon: makes Hermes run faster. (must upgrade altar of the gods to level 1 first) •Temple of Nike: makes workers work faster. •Propylaea: makes Hermes 10% faster. •Statue of Ares: Areas defeats enemies 10% faster. •Shrine of Zeus: reduces the cost of temples. •Erechtheum: makes workers run faster. •Altar of the Gods: reduces the cost of repairing altars. (must upgrade the temple of Nike to level 2 first) •Sacrad Fire: reduces the cost of repairing the Academy of •Ares. (must upgrade Erechtheum to level 2 first) HERMES SERIES LIST Title***Collector's Edition Release Date***Average Rating 1-Rescue Mission SE only (May 07-2019) 4.2 2-War of the Gods (January 18-2020) 4.7 3-Sibyls' Prophecy (October 3-2020) n/a by: GameMixer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They just get Better and Better. I broke my golden rule with this game , I bought it without trying the demo as I knew it would be good but I still say you should always demo . So did I do the right thing? Of course I did. This developer always adds to the game so even though you have the usual pick up and collect there are many different things added such as building temples to do different tasks on each level. I love the way Ares battles the bats (Pun intended) As in the previous game where you had an Olympic village this time you have the Acropolis where you go to upgrade speed of workers etc. To get the most out of your demo ignore that so that you can get further in the game in your demo time. This is a challenge even in relaxed which is great. There is so much to do. There are some handy power ups here such as a free building upgrade or remove an obstruction which came in handy for me as I did not have enough food to carry on so once I removed the blockage it was fine. All these little things are what goes to making this one of my favorite TM series. 50 standard levels plus 20 bonus levels and a very good strategy guide plus the usual bits that you could do without . This is well worth the CE price and with the BOGO sale today the hardest part was deciding what to get to go with it. Enjoy I know I will

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not much new..but loads of fun as usual. Zues does not believe that prophecies are coming true and basically your gameplay gathers evidence to convince him. Things like 'talking sheep' and metal birds...(one goddess does shoot these birds with an arrow..so be warned if you dont like that...but its pretty benign) I dont think she needs to...but probably realistic of the times.. There is not a lot new here (based on the demo so far..but I did buy it) You will build forges, olive groves, quarries, and banks. Hire workers along the way..or you may just come across 'the head on the road' which was a shock in my first game....but now I know it is another worker to click and use lol. Then there are traders who will sell you what else you need such as medical supplies to heal the locals asking for help, or torches to drive wolves away etc. You often need to construct a temple or a statue to the god you need to help you with your tasks too. You then gather the 'power of the gods'..which helps you build 'Olympus' which is actually your boosters..each building completed makes something cheaper or faster. It will happen automatically when your builders complete their task. Remember with this series...you do NOT need to wait for your workers to complete the building...just set them to work and go back to your game. There are bird feathers to pick up that also give a power boost. There are a few new 'finds' on the road, secret boxes with goodies and piles of gold to mine, as well as what you pick up. It's sweet and colourful game, and I did have to replay a lower level or two. You can turn off the tutorial, as it will wiggle at you if you dont spot something..but I left it on till I knew what i was doing again. So a humourous, lively, choc full of resources game that keeps you very busy. I play in normal. There is a relax and an expert mode, but I find that enough for me..well timed for my skill level. So as always, try the demo..but this is a quality and fun game. There is a written strategy guide, and wallpapers and music. I grabbed it just for my fun factor! Enjoy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This works! I am impressed by the level of challenge with this game as my expectations were low going in. I don't see the CE price tag but that's what Dev's are doing with new games even if they don't deserve it. Anyway...off my soapbox...this is loaded with strategy and thinking. The higher up you go, the harder it gets. There are NO grunts and UH-Huh's anywhere to be found (thankfully) from the workers except for an occasional Hey which is actually kind of cute. 3 stars are hard! Give it a try and use a coupon for the CE price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun game but glitches Fun game but there are glitches like on level 18 they placed a shell for the Sirens under the Helmet box that shows the points collected so you can't click on it so can't go further in the game

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Totally confusing After seeing the two 5 star reviews, I was hopeful. Perhaps this game just isn't for me. I found it utterly confusing. I have not played any other in the series, so maybe I'm missing something. It is challenging in relaxed mode and I had to start over twice. I made it to level 6 and gave up. I found there was TOO much to do. I would get to a statue and realize I had no more stone left or no more gold. I typically love time management games, but this one is just not for me. Everyone has different tastes, so give it a try. You may love it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ridiculously difficult I play these types of games all the time and found this one infuriating. It takes forever to do anything, there are no boosts, and no way to pick what type of play you want to do. I checked options and other menu items and couldn't find anywhere to select relaxed, normal and hard. It just seemed to me to be hard period. Too much work and very little fun.
