Shopping Clutter 12: Halloween at the Walkers is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from What A Nice Surprise! It made my evening, finding this Halloween treat. I love the fun new characters and graphics. A nice fun game to play with the grandkids and even I am totally enjoying it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Game, but Definitely NOT for Kids! Like everybody else, I'm relieved that BFG has something other to offer than - well, what they've been offering lately. (I appreciate the hard work during COVID times, but wow.) I like the Shopping Clutter games, though I normally find the Walkers annoying. This one, though, is hilarious. The first game is "Find everything in the category 'hands'", which features, yes, disembodied hands (apricot color). The second game has a lot of terrifying mouths, and the kind of clowns your mother, the police, and Stephen King warned you about. Starting in the third game, there's a brain with a) eyeballs attached and b) a fork sticking out of it. So, if you've got a weird sense of humor, and love clutter games, I suggest this. But do NOT play it with kids, unless you want them to have nightmares. The Fun Factor is high, Visual/Sound Quality is strong, and the levels get super-hard the further you play. I ignore the storyline as much as possible, so I can't tell you anything there. Enjoy, and Spooooky Halloween!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instant purchase for me! I enjoy all these games "Shopping Clutter"! Chapter 12 is Boo-tiful, with colorful characters, definitely has put me in the mood for Halloween. I can't wait to see what happens when I continue playing this game. So have a howling good time enjoying this seasonal clutter game.!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm really enjoying it It's a cute little game, many levels to play, can do easy or challenging mode & can replay levels. It's great for a little distraction. Try it and see what you think

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is MUCH better IMHO, Shopping Clutter 9 was your absolute BEST. I'm not sure what happened to the ones in between, but the objects were way too large and the challenge was practically non-existent. Although I haven't played all of this new game, it looks like it is more like game 9 and that is much better. I don't see any memory/turn over mini-games and that makes me sad. I LOVE those. I also appreciate your continued "skip" button so I don't have to play the ones which I don't play well. Keep this "more like game 9" skillset going!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Old Reliable Series This is the same old game but that's cool because I like the same old game. Only one BIG criticism - the floating bubbles are still there. I think the developer believes they add to the challenge. They do not. They are beyond annoying.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A VAST IMPROVEMENT...I'd give it 3.5 stars I've got to give credit when credit is due (and this game is long overdue) I actually enjoyed playing this demo because the "clutter" objects were more interesting, and they added a few new types of puzzles. To be clear, I hated the puzzle where you had to place squares on the top, but at least they tried to offer a new type of puzzle. This series still needs to improve and they certainly dropped the ball by not adding a spooky Halloween soundtrack. It still lacks a wow factor because I still got bored playing the demo and I really have no interest in purchasing the game as I would in the original Clutter games, but compared to the last several games in this series, it's a vast improvement! Most of the levels involve finding related pairs such as Bats, Skulls, Cats, Hands, Heads, or Ghosts followed by Matching Pairs with the occasional Triplets of objects. Some of the levels have semi-transparent objects or colored silhouettes which I've never been a fan of. I did find a few of the levels to be quite challenging (in the Difficult-timed setting) especially when tasked with finding pairs that were of different colors in the same size. There are two modes of difficulty, Easy Mode which has no time restraints, and a Difficult, Limited-time Mode that gives you 500 extra points for not using Hints, and 10 extra points for time remaining. There are 140 Clutter-type levels that can be replayed if you want to earn a better score and there are 20 Puzzles available as well. Each scene has a ton of GIANT Sun Emblems scattered among the junkpiles to recharge the Hint Meter, seriously, what's the ratio of the number of objects required to find versus how many Sun Hints there actually are? The only reason I click on them is that their presence annoys me and they are always in the way, they need to be smaller, much smaller! Rated 3 out of 5 by from I Won't Be Spending Halloween With The Walkers! Ever hear the saying "more is sometimes less"? Well, that applies here. The more Walker games we get, the less quality I see. Except today, this one actually isn't so bad. Is this a Halloween trick or is something a little different this time? I always try the demo, looking for improvements, but again will not be purchasing. It's still too boring. It seemed to be a little more challenging in the Difficult Mode, both Easy and Hard have usually been way too easy. The items were more interesting. There were a couple of new puzzles. But that's about it for the changes I was able to see in the demo. Although the demo was okay, I eventually became bored because there wasn't enough variety. It was mostly finding pairs. And why do we need 35 Sun Emblems in one scene?? I guess they're easy enough to move or eliminate, but it's just annoying. I did like the Halloween theme, very colorful. The music was okay but could have been a little spookier. I did not enjoy the puzzle placing the square pieces on top one another. It was frustrating, every move forward put me a move back and I just didn't have the patience for it. The transparent appearance of the objects in some of the scenes were a problem for my not-perfect eyes, but it did provide an extra little challenge. The point system is generous but I didn't see the need for a leader board with fake opponents. Maybe that's fun for the younger players where "competing" with the animals keeps them interested and motivated to do their best. I think the kids will really enjoy this Halloween themed game. The graphics are colorful and cutesy with the Walker Family telling about how they are spending their Halloween, again something appealing for the younger fans. There were no tech issues, instructions are always easy. Lots of levels, all can be replayed to earn higher scores. So if you love the Walkers, this is a good buy because of its replay value. Hopefully the puzzles are a good mix, without the frustration of the one I did not like. If looking for some easy Halloween fun, this will be nice to have on hand for the kids.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good game for younger kids, but too boring I haven't seen this series before, or maybe it's just that I will play almost anything that is Halloween related. Very basic instructions at the beginning of each level, but no explanation as to why we need to collect suns. It's basically just a point and click game.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Super Excited till I started playing then This game stressed me out even in easy mode you feel rushed and after five boards it wasn't fun, and I'm very sorry that I bought the game. Years back I lived for speed TM were my very favorite games. I HAD to win with gold. But arthritis, nerve damage, fibromyalgia etc. have ruined my hand-eye coordination and the pain has stolen my speed. I don't understand why it's so hard to create games that can make both types of players happy. ALSO If this game would make a true relax mode, it would really keep people who need to keep their reflexes and minds sharps. peace
