Robin Hood: Spring of Life Collector's Edition is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from TOO MANY BUGS IN GAME! I love these games however this one has so many bugs in. Even the early levels you now can't get past because he picks up the food but it remains on the screen or it doesn't remain on the screen but the game thinks it does!!! Either way you can't get any further. I have been a member of BFG for many years but am finding it increasingly difficult to get hold of them for support. I will just chalk this one down to experience and hope they issue an update!!!! I will gladly recommend this game once the bugs are fixed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun game..but level 36? I've enjoyed all the others, this was no exception. I'm curious to know if anyone has finished the entire thing, were you able to get past 36? I've also contacted support due to the first piece of food you pick up not going away and then not allowing you to advance through the level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from reply to VickyS82 Has Anyone Finished Level 36? I enjoy all of the Robin Hood games they are so much fun and seem to get better with each one. I chose the character(not sure of his name but he can generate additional players. He was able to pickup resources no problem . I guess he is stealthy. the guide for this level is incorrect.. Hope this helps

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the right amount of... Fun and challenge. Never a dull moment with this game. The characters each have their own special powers to help battle the foes and gather what is needed to fulfill each quest. The challenge for three stars is obtainable as is beating the developers record. I am thoroughly enjoying this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has Anyone Finished Level 36? I like the game; it is significantly more challenging than others in the genre. I've contacted customer support, but am wondering if anyone who's reviewed has played through the entire game. On Level 36, he moves as though he's picking up the very first item (food), but the food stays onscreen so you cannot proceed any further because you are blocked. I am just reaching out to see if anyone else ran into this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another fun Robin Hood Kudos to the reviewers who go into great detail on this and other games. You do a beautiful job. I have all of the games in this series and added this to my collection. I seldom buy CE's, but do buy them in this series. There is no need for me to go into the nuts and bolts of this game as others have already done that; but I wanted to leave a rating in the hopes that it would help boost the interest of others who may not be familiar with the Robin Hood series. I enjoy the graphics and the humor. I play in the easy mode for chilled out, laid back entertainment. I really like the hidden objects in each scene. It's true that some of them are large and obvious, but others are hidden a bit behind other items. I love that you can go back and pick up any missed HO's without having to replay the entire level again. Finding the costumes is a nice little out-of-the-ordinary task. The upgrades are good, too, and don't cost a fortune. Overall this has been a great TM series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best one yet! I have all the games in this series, and as gather, build, upgrade resource buildings, and generally rush around games go this is right up in the top few. With this one you have the added fun of Robin needing to shoot his arrows at adversaries and traps to set to capture guards. I have not played too far into the game, but wanted to put up a general idea of what this game involves. There are not many changes from the past games that I have come across but one is 'the outfits'. You find these on the gold grab levels called 'heist' and can dress your characters. I am still waiting to understand if this is just a bit of fun or they serve a practical choice purpose eventually? There is also an 'upgrade' store where you can spend some cash to make characters 'go faster'..or speed up production etc. There are two modes, timed and relaxed, there are wallpapers and music. There are 38 regular levels, 12 bonus levels with the CE and 10 heist levels. There is a good strategy guide both verbal and numbered and it also shows the hidden objects to find on each level. One thing that I did like was I only found two of three on one level..and so I replayed and only had to find the last one. But really they are quite gigantic and their shape and what levels also show on the map. I did only have two annoyances, you can't just skip the level dialogue but the story is good and humorous. The other that the tutorial holds you up terribly at the start. At one stage as I was trying to pick which bonus players I wished to use..I thought I had a glitch..but instead once I stopped clicking..the tutorial came in told me I could choose..then it worked fine. I only left it on hoping to come across the explanation for the 'outfits'. If you like this style of TM...just grab it ..it's wonderful. The graphics are loud and colourful, and the gameplay smooth. I did see on the video there is a large variety of scenery and settings yet to come...so not boring. Do try the demo...but to me this is just great..Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OO-DE-LALLY, OO-DE-LALLY, GOLLY WHAT A GAME! I loved the first Robin Hood and the second one was good but it was crazy-difficult to earn all 3-stars. I had given up all hope by the time Hail to the King rolled around because it seemed the developers had nothing left to offer and were just rolling out new games without putting forth any effort, probably just to keep up with the demands (and contracts lol). Robin Hood: Spring of Life, on the other hand, is absolutely perfect and has me singing the Oo-de-lally, Oo-de-lally, Golly What A Day song once again! You can play in an Easy (untimed) or Normal Mode and each level has 3 Hidden Objects that unfortunately aren't so hidden. Some of them are partially hidden but they are too large and too colorful to miss! I love collectibles but these are more like clickables, they are supposed to be an added challenge so it would be amazing if they were blended better into the scenery on the next game, it would be even more fantastic if they morphed! Each level has different objects but you can see which collectibles are available by looking at the level map. The clickable-collections include Crowns, Potions?, Crystal Balls, Banners, Torches, Chests, Maps, Swords, and Gems. There are the usual Time Management tasks of Clearing Paths of weeds, Wooden Logs, Boulders, and stakes used to guard the Gold Taxes collected from the peasants. You will harvest Berry Bushes, Apple Trees, Walnut Trees, Food Caches, and go Fishing for food, Repair Rope Buildings, Sawmills, Farms, Bridges, and Ladders. Shearing the sheep will allow the posse to make even more rope which is used to repair bridges and concoct traps to capture the sheriff's guards! Robin Hood and his merry men steal Gold from the Rich to Give to the Poor so you will be required to set up elaborate traps and snares, and of course, shoot arrows at the watchmen guards. These guards are either pretty resilient, or they have some kind of awesome superpower because Robin Hood's arrows only "stun" the guards temporarily in this game! This feature is puzzling, why do the arrows only stun the guards, are the arrows defective? Has Robin Hood lost his toxophilite, marksmen edge? Are the guards wearing some kind of arrow-proof or magical armor? Is Robin Hood having a "woke" change of heart? Did the developers get a lot of complaints about arrow violence in the Robin Hood TM series? Or, did the developers just have a hard time coming up with a better scenario than allowing the Merry Men to gather resources in guarded areas only after being "stunned" by an arrow? Oo-de-lally, golly what a stun! All good deeds will help to fill the Bonus Bar. You will receive permanent bonuses for each hero when you fill the good deeds bar. Before starting the level you can choose which Hero's will be joining the quest and the order in which they will arrive to join the posse! The hero's abilities can be Upgraded to last longer, recharge faster, etc. These bonuses will make them run faster, add extra outlaws, produce more resources, and even add more good deed points. Robin Hood and his outlaws can be equipped with new bandit outfits as you progress but this wasn't really a feature that interested me personally. I did, however, love the Heist Levels which allows you to rob the sheriff's people to earn more gold with a slightly different type of gameplay than the normal, resource-collecting levels. This Collector's Edition has 6 Wallpapers, 4 Music Soundtracks, 3 Hidden Collectibles on each level, 38 Main Levels, 12 Bonus Levels, 10 Heist Levels, 17 Achievements, 8 Character Outfits, and a built-in Strategy Guide. Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Return Of Robin Of Loxley Just a bit of useless information but for those who do not know too much about Robin Hood he was also known as Robin Of Loxley. But then Marian has been named Mary so there you go for accuracy lol. Well all the gang are back and apart from the first couple of levels it's all systems go. Not much different apart from giving your gang new bandit clothes which just adds to the humor. However, it is real fun and you really need to think and several times I have had to redo a level because I have gone the wrong way. Just a few tips. When the dog turns up get him working asap as he will fall asleep and if you are on timed that can delay getting an item you need. This time when Robin has to shoot Gisbourne he also picks up things so you need to be careful there . I preferred it when he just shot Gisbourne but then I suppose it does add a bit more challenge. As usual there are hidden objects to find and normally I would go back to them after the level , most are easy to find but as you get further in some levels are misted over in part and there is always a hidden object in the mist so you need to find that otherwise you will need to replay the level again until the mist clears. I always buy the CE in these games as I feel it is worth it particularly when there is a sale on. There are 60 levels in the CE and going by the last one 41 in the SE plus the usual wallpapers etc and a strategy guide. Try the demo, see what you think and thankfully this becomes quite challenging and fun early on. Will not suit everyone but for me it is great and a long time since a decent tm game,
