Rated 5 out of 5 by from great M3 50 levels of play. there is a hint button to use if you are on a board that you have the blocks you have to break to advance. i really enjoyed this game. i played on the relaxed level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great Match 3 game 2nd in the series This is the 2nd game in the series and not a match 2 game which could have been made a bit clearer but for me this is a great game, This developer also does a similar chain match game and for me personaly I think it is good to have both. They have made some improvements to this one, an extra 10 levels and you can now exit the mini games whenever you want wheras before you needed to finish the level to carry on. For me this is a big improvement and worth the extra star. I like the mini games but be warned one got me very confused at first as it mentions taking gates and making rows of 3 gates. It is actually fruits that you need to make horizontal rows of 3 of the same fruit before you end up with no space as all the fruits move to the right if you do not match 3. No idea where gates come in to it? There is no timed level but I find this to be very challenging and each level is very large so if there was a timed mode then it may make it too hard ? It would be interesting to have a timed mode for those whom like a real challenge but for me I am happy with this. If the developers do read this I would suggest you make it a bit clearer that it is the 3rd in the series otherwise it will just say Adventure Match 3 . Just an idea. Try the demo and see what you think. These are long levels so 50 is enough plus all the mini games I think it is good value especially when a sale is on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoying this second in the series I have the first game in this series and added this one. If you know Dig the Ground, you'll see the similarities here. The main difference is that DTG is a chain match game; whereas this one is a true match 3 where you trade tiles for matching. I like both types equally. I enjoy the challenge of the frozen tiles, boxes, and other types of tiles that block your progress. I don't play timed or limited move games, but I can understand why many gamers would like to have one or both of these features in the future. For me this is a fun, kick back and relax game - just my type. I like to sandwich games like this in between the other games I play (TMs, M3s and solitaire these days). The tiles are colorful and I enjoy the mini games. This game isn't going to get your blood pumping or up your BP; but if you like a chill-out kind of game, you should give this one a try.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very similar to first game I like this game as well as the other games by this developer, but there is very little difference from the first game in the series and many might prefer to save their money and replay game number one with a different name. The gameplay is repetitive and each board is VERY long as others have noted. I did decide to buy the game because I don't like replaying games once I have conquered all the levels. There ae a few differences with this but I can easily see why some players would get bored.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from THIS IS BASICALLY THE SAME GAME AS DIG THE GROUND? I am a fan of the Dig the Ground series and this game has the same concept with one exception, you must swap tiles to make matches of 3 or more tiles in Adventure Match, and Dig the Ground is a Chain type Match 3 game that allows you to grab chains of identical gems in horizontal, vertical, and diagonal patterns....(actually, there are two differences: unlike Dig the Ground, you can't opt for a Timed Mode) Normally, I prefer a Swap type of Match 3 game, but with this particular series, the chain type works better because you need to make large matches to get some of the more powerful powerups used to destroy lava and stone tiles for example. This game has a flaw where it isn't able to generate enough tiles to make a Match 3, let alone a large match in some of the smaller zones. These smaller zones may only have a single row of cells and perhaps a 12 square radius area when you reach a point that requires removing all sand-covered cells to unlock the next portion once you make the specified number of matches to break the obstacle. This is the case on almost every board, I found myself having to make matches on the fringes of the small area just to work my way back to the area with sand-covered tiles because matching gems simply weren't available and you can't move forward or backward until you break the obstacle. I also had issues with the game freezing up and I had to press ctrl/alt/del to abandon ship. Making large matches will create a bomb or lightning box of specified colors depending on which colored gem was matched when creating the powerup, therefore it must be included in a match with at least two other identically colored gems. It can be really difficult to find enough identically colored gems to make matches of more than 4 so the game can become a little boring when you are constantly making smaller matches. The game is loaded with Obstacles, such as Chains, Double Chains, Crates, Frozen Tiles, Sand Tiles, Stone Tiles, Lava Tiles. etc. Obstacles with a number on them require you to make matches over all Sand tiles in the area (you cannot proceed until the number reaches 0) The most confusing obstacle was the Fire tiles which require making a match of fire tiles adjacent to the fire tile and then making matches next to the fire tile to create a path of fire ...underwater???? (good luck figuring this feature out! What's not confusing is becoming an official Woodsey at my new forum where we have a daily game chat thread and group play games at thewoodsforum.boards.net

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Light casual M3 in the style of 4 Elements. It's like a less-polished '4 Elements' style Match 3 game... with some bonus games thrown in. You make matches instead of connecting chains. Light casual fun with lots of powerups to blow up but not much more than that. Demo it and see what you think.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Boring Some of the rules are not clear and you might find yourself in a corner without any idea how to get out of it. Repetitive, very humble sound. There are Match 3 games so much better than this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from no timer I did not see an option for a timer or limited moves. To me, that is a deal breaker. I don't understand why they cannot put in that option. It's like I am playing for nothing. No challenge whatsoever.
