Delicious Solitaire is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Different I only played 2 levels so far but I'm all in. This solitaire is different. You are presented with a nice set of goals on each level, so there's more to think about than just finding the next card. I like the pleasant music. I like the smooth feel of all the mechanics. Usually when I enjoy a solitaire game, I'm immediately dissatisfied with the distracting card graphics, however beautiful or fun they may be, and so I set the deck to look more like 'normal' cards. Not this time. The graphics are great, and didn't annoy me at all! I am very happy with this game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasant pastime This was a little different from other solitaire games - several games of different types with goals per game and cute card images. Not sure what they mean by "fun palate pleasing themes" unless they just mean the pictures or I didn't get far enough. Will probably buy on sale. I had no trouble playing the game on Windows 10.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from CLOSE BUT NOT QUITE One of my favorite Solitaire games was created by this developer (see link for the current favorite) After introducing that game they have tried to recreate the "magic" with all preceding games by simply changing the graphics while offering the same solitaire levels in every game, in other words, they only changed the graphics and the theme. Although they did change the solitaire levels slightly in Delicious Solitaire, they are really basically the same, they just offer fewer cards to remove from each pile. That's a BIG problem for me because that was the single feature that made Magnussoft Solitaire games so fun! What I am referring to is the fact that you never knew if a pile had just one card or 50 cards hidden underneath and your first instinct was to go after the piles that show multiple cards spread out which always had less than that single suspicious card pile! The fact that there were massive amounts of cards to remove in Magic Cards Solitaire on each level also meant that I could make huge chains (remove 20-30 cards in one draw) The result was a lengthy level that seemed satisfying and challenging at the same time, which wasn't the case in Delicious Solitaire. They give you a decent amount of Deck Cards and very few cards to remove from the board, so the end result is a game where each level can be completed within a few seconds. This is what I refer to as Speed Solitaire, the level goals are achieved almost immediately and it was rare that I had to replay a level to earn all 3 stars. You can choose from 3 different Card Fonts, a traditional card, a themed card with large font, and a themed card with normal font. You can choose from 6 different Card Backs (use the arrows to scroll through them) and there are 5 different Rewards that can be earned in tiers from 0/10 to 0/50,000. There are 4 Types of Solitaire available starting with a traditional Golf variant and each variant has 42 levels. Jokers and number-specific Wildcards are uncovered while playing, and they can be purchased in the Shop with the coins you earn. You may want to save your money, however, because every hint or undo you use will cost 100 coins! At first, I thought a hint feature was worthless but then I thought it could be useful in some of the other solitaire variants?? Come join in on the fun at my new forum The Woods. Rated 3 out of 5 by from A New Magnusoft Solitaire. A Hit Or A Miss? I own Magic Solitaire 1 and 2 by Magnusoft, really cute with 2 characters moving the quest along, things to collect and very simple to play, also with the variants. Delicious Solitaire is very similar but I liked the fairy theme better. I never like games and puzzles involving food, even if it's just a picture on a card. I've purchased other games from this dev, usually good quality. Don't know if today's game has collectibles, as my demo suddenly ended after just 30 minutes! But I have a feeling there are none. Delicious Solitaire has 3 boring card fronts. 2 are actually the same, just different background colors. The 3rd is your typical font. Only 1 card back. A big ho-hum for those of us who enjoy the art and switching around as we play. Be forewarned...there is a mega amount of tutorial, WAY TOO MUCH!!! Thank goodness it can be turned off! Most solitaire lovers do not need this crazy amount of help. There are 5 Awards to earn, each having 3 stages. You can keep track of your achievements as you play. There are 4 categories, each one contains a specific style of solitaire. 50% of the category must be completed to unlock the next one. I hate that! Good news...no Gold Cards!! There are always 5 unlocked levels at the beginning of each category. All levels can be replayed, which surprisingly I had to do with the first 2! Everything you need to know is displayed along the top of screen and on the bottom left side, so you always are informed of your progress. One undo is available with each level. The Shop is sparse, nothing really to make the game more fun and the Bonus items didn't do much either, in my opinion. I don't need lots of bells and whistles but I always like something to make solitaire a little more interesting. It can become boring quickly and, for the beginners, those little extras are an important asset to the game. The graphics in Delicious Solitaire are nice and sharp, very colorful, artwork is cartoonish. I'm not too fond of the cartoony style and there is so much of it these days in our games. Some of it is okay, some of it is just too cutesy, today's game is pretty simple/unappealing. I'm just glad it doesn't feature characters/cartoon families like in a lot of our other games! My 3-Star rating is due to it being very easy and not offering at least a few frills. But I enjoy the solitaire variants, earning a few rewards and relaxing with an uncomplicated card game that doesn't aggravate me with Gold Cards and silly stories that add no entertainment value. I like Magnusoft, a longtime dev at BF, but felt this game was a little on the low end. I experienced absolutely no glitches or tech issues, the game opened easily, no lagging. I think will be fun game for Beginners. Expert players may find that their level of experience makes the game boring and too easy to fly through all the levels. I was put off by the lack of challenge and without it I found few chances to strategize which I enjoy tremendously in Solitaire and Match 3 games. I think the game is more okay than most Solitaires we regularly see on Big Fish. It just isn't interesting enough for my entertainment needs. The demo, though cut short, only gave me the Golf Variant but I love high/low. Check it out, but remember to turn the tutorial off asap or it will use up too much valuable trial time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NOT MY CUP OF TEA The first group is "golf" solitaire -- which for me is boring. The second is match 2. Haven't gotten to end and doubt if I will. Please bring back some good solitaire games, i.e. 8Floor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Couldn't get it to work Every time I tried to open it, it would come up on the screen and then reduce to the task bar. My suggestion is to try it before you buy it.
