Whispered Secrets: Tying the Knot Collector's Edition is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delightful Mystery - Beautiful Art I played this on the EASY and QUICK level. Hints re-charge at your chosen speed, clear to follow. Hidden objects were hidden but could be identified when found. Some surprise characters popped up. The storyline made sense and was easily followed .. remember now, I did the quick and easy, Took several hours to play through and I did a bonus game. I DID NOT collect enough objects like outlined puzzle pieces .. but you can do a great HELPED search at the end. LOVED IT>

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Game I bought this game immediately upon release in support of Ukraine and GrandMa. Just playing it now. OMG so well done! Collectables are hard to spot (well blended). Games are not frustrating, so I didn't skip any (rare for me). HO's are inventive. Nothing cookie cutter about this game! I watched the credits & the developers are mostly women. Yay!!! I bought every GrandMa game in the big BFG portfolio. I hope you do too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thoughts & prayers for our beloved Grandma Based on completed game (+ bonus chapters) I bought the CE version. This game is broken into 3 titled parts: Part 1: SE portion/main game Part 2: The usual CE bonus chapter. You play as the bride before the wedding. It's played over 6 scenes. Part 3: Find all the collectibles to fill in the “collectible flowers page”, & find all of the puzzle pieces to put the 20 pc puzzle together. Then you are able to play a “find the object and place it back into scene" game over 4 scenes, which I adored! I thought it was so creative how they used this extra play to tidy up the game’s storyline and explain how it all turns out. It took me 10 min. to complete all that. I liked Part 3 better than the actual bonus chapter. I liked the ending to the SE’s ending better than the CE bonus chapter's ending. But that ending is fixed by the 2nd bonus play. Grandma Studios is the only DEV that puts the cutscenes in sequential order in the game's diary/note holder. I wish all the DEV would do it this way because quite often I will buy a CE on sale and not remember the demo as clearly. This way you can refresh the gameplay & storyline and pick up where you left off which makes you care about the characters more. Total gameplay for me was 3:49 hrs. over 4 days. I skipped a lot of MG but took my time on the HOS, which I prefer. If a DEV offers a screensaver (moving pic, not just wallpaper) in the bonus content to a game I like I will buy the CE version. If it doesn't, I'll wait for the SE. I know Grandma doesn't usually offer Screensavers but I bought this as a CE because it had "jigsaw piece collectibles". All the other DEV that offer those, end as a Screensaver you can *set*. This game allows you to put the 20 piece jigsaw together but it's only a wallpaper. It does not "set" to create a screensaver. It only sets to a wallpaper. :( Your collection of flowers has its own page and the Achievement page is the prettiest of all. When the CE bonus chapter starts you still have more of the 48 morphing flowers to find, so you continue collecting them in bonus play. I liked looking for the flowers, the morphing was just right. Chapter 3 (of Part 1) has some really beautiful scenes by a lake. I thought the graphics in this area (and in some scenes overall) were better than others. The music and environmental audio is just A+ here. It was so relaxing to actually hear the birds chirping and the water lapping off the dock. The music didn't play too much or interfere with the environmental sounds so it was just perfectly done. Sometimes a DEV will use the music too often and I prefer it like this where there are environmental sounds over long stretches of gameplay. The lake area in Chapter 3 has an remarkable MG that has the prettiest scenes in the entire game, imo. You get a map to get from The Lake to The Graveyard. This MG can be a bit tricky so just trust me and don't give up or you'll miss some really beautiful areas. You must enter several scenes to find and use one object at a time to get through to the area called "Graveyard". It is a 22 step MG that has no hints. I took a picture with my phone of the MG in the Walkthrough Guide to complete it since it won't allow you to access the WTG while playing it. My favorite scenes were Birch Cove & The Swamp. They should have used these scenes in the main game. It seems so insignificant to be writing a review to this game after seeing Grandma Studio's Facebook page and the tragedy & weight of what they are enduring currently. I have so much empathy for you & your loved ones. You are in my prayers. May God be with you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT GAME Loved the different kind of games this one had. I know I am always looking for a twist on the HOP scenes and this one has it. I definitely appreciate the "real tool" ness about this game, growing up on a farm and being a carpenter's wife. Thank you!! Keep bringing on great stuff you guys!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just good game Despite the typical plot, the game is interesting, dynamic. I really liked the mini games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fantastic addition to the series I am about 1/2 way through the game (purchased) and I am really enjoying it. Unlike some of the other reviews stated, I'm coming across many new elements and mini games. Also different ways to find objects in the HO scenes (never seen/played before). Lots of variety. I was ever so happy not to have to fan smoke away or pound a nail in with a statue. Only thing I was not a big fan of was the storyline. I feel that "ghosts/bride ghosts" has been done enough times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! An excellent game in a long series! Astonishingly good and fresh game from An absolutely top notch dev team. They seemed to really work hard at not using the same old tropes, finding ever changing ways to find to do things. The HOPS were creative and focused, the story line excellent and multilayered. The final “bonus” game tied up all the lose ends and gave a creep who preyed on women for money his just due. I liked the first wife’s line: “It was never about revenge, but about justice.” I highly recommend this game and double kudos to the devs for upping the ante in this 13th(!) game of the series:)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Game!! Grandma has always delivered high-quality games. This one is no exception. The story as well as the graphics and the HOPs leave nothing to be desired. There is always a lot of bonus chapters and extras. A really nice game

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GRANDMA! WHAT A BIG HIT YOU HAVE! GrandMA! What a big hit you have with this game! All the better for us to sink out teeth into! It has been some time since we have seen anything from our GrandMA; however, this game has made it worth the wait! This game has it all – a well-written story, a good pace, and creatively designed HOP scenes and mini-games. This is a HOP lover’s delight! The HOP scenes in this game are puzzle-like and highly interactive. Most of the items require some interaction with other items within the scene. I found some of these scenes somewhat perplexing in trying to figure out what steps I needed to do to remove the items! I love the story behind this game. I found it a suspenseful thriller. Play a detective on a case involving a spendthrift Bluebeard with a penchant for wealthy women. However, his trips down the aisle are sidetracked by a ghost from his past who will help you save his victims. There are three chapters within this game. The main game is called “Mysterious Attack.” The bonus chapter is called “Coffin Breathing” and there is a third chapter called “The Beginning of the Nightmare.” The third chapter is a HOP scene which narrates the prologue of the game. It is a storybook HOP scene in which the player moves from scene-to-scene searching for items and then returning them to their proper location within the scenes. After locating all the items, a story unfolds telling the fate of the main characters of the game. There are two collectibles, morphing flowers and jigsaw puzzle pieces. I found some of these difficult to locate. Many of those morphing flowers are blended in with other flowers, making them difficult to locate. The jigsaw puzzle pieces are tiny and well-hidden, usually within a dimly lit or dark background. I needed to consult the strategy guide to locate some of them. There is an indicator bar on the left side of the screen which indicates how many collectibles are within each scene and how many are remaining to be located. Most of the scenes contain two morphing flowers and one jigsaw puzzle piece hidden in a close-up scene. MECHANICS: • Four (4) levels of play including a customized version. • 15 achievements. • Collect 20 jigsaw pieces used to assemble a jigsaw puzzle at the end of the game. The puzzle creates a screen saver you can download. • Collect 48 morphing flowers • 10 wallpapers along with concept art, music, and video sequences • Replay 14 HOP scenes and 9 mini-games BONUS CHAPTER: It is a prequel. Play Annabelle, Count Victor Osmont’s newest bride. As a lonely woman, recovering from the death of your father, you are burdened with running the family business. However, Count Osmont has offered to help you with running this business and you have given him contractual rights to do so. After saying “I do,” find yourself trapped by the count’s cohort, Uric. Battle this evil sorcerer to gain your freedom. I found this a nice addition to the game. There are three HOP scenes and four mini-games. It provides more background and clarification for the main game. HOP SCENES: There are fifteen (15) HOP scenes with the game, fourteen (14) of which can be replayed upon completion of the game. The scenes are lists of items, silhouette scenes, and matching scenes; however, they are extremely interactive, puzzle-like, and well-designed. Every scene requires searches for items which are combined with another item or used in some way to locate the item to be removed. These are some of the best HOP scenes I have seen in some time. MINI-GAMES: There are twenty-one (21) mini-games, nine (9) of which can be replayed upon completion of the game. I loved playing these puzzles because some are unique, different than those from other developers. I found most of the puzzles easy or of middle difficulty. I did not find any which were challenging. I feel some of the HOP scenes were more difficult to play than the mini-games. HERE ARE SOME OF THE MINI-GAMES AFTER THE DEMO: A. Switch puzzle. Switch pieces of a picture to restore it. The left side is in black-and-white and the right side in color. Each time a piece is switched, the color changes from black-and-white to color and vice versa. B. Strategy puzzle. Turn and manipulate 5 valves so that 3 colored pressure indicators have their pressure set to the numbers as indicated in the center of the grid. C. Sequence puzzle. Arrange books on a bookshelf according to a given pattern. D. Maze puzzle. On a circular disk, rotate 3 circular rings, each containing path segments so that paths are created for each of 3 colored marbles on the inside of the grid, linking each one to like-colored tokens on the outside of the circular grid. E. Rope puzzle. In this case, untangle a fishing line so the lines do not overlap each other F. Map puzzle. Reach a cemetery by going down various paths, locating items along the way to use within the scenes. The player will need to retrace their steps and perform some actions before receiving all the inventory needed to reach the cemetery BONUS CHAPTER: G. Sequence puzzle. Open a pair of handcuffs by repeating the sequence in which the tumblers are pressed. 2X H. Matching puzzle. Find pairs with the same symbols to defeat a dragon. The tokens are scrambled after each 2 matches.
