Shopping Clutter 15: Around the Campfire is rated 2.4 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Relaxing and fun It's a nice and relaxing game; you don't have to do much thinking. Great gameplay after a day of work to take your mind of things. If you don't care much for Christmas songs in springtime they very thoughtfully added the option to mute the music and sounds. Another game of fun with the Walker family

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun Game but does need an upgrade I have enjoyed some of the versions of this game series. The 9th one about the wedding is about the best they've put out. Other levels had objects that were way too big and weird (seriously, meat products in the Restaurant version?), and looked like they had been created for a kindergartner. It IS a relaxing game even at the "difficult" level. If you are not interested in matching, or in easy mini-games, just move on to another kind of game. I play it to relieve stress. As for the suns, I can't believe people are criticizing them. They are part of the challenge. I get rid of all the ones I can see right at the beginning of the level, which eats up some of the time, which gives less time to finish the level. I've lost a couple of times in each series because of this and I enjoy going back and trying again. I would like to see more variety in the game, though. There are way too many regular point and clicks with all moveable items as well as some not-moveable items. There are also way too many cut-into-three-and-four-parts. It would be nice to see more of the small vs large sizes -- they are the most challenging to me. And after my initial surprise with level 14 where Christmas music was interspersed with the regular, I found it a bit whimsical. What would be nice is to have a music change-up....keeping some of the background songs but adding a few more similar but fresh tunes. I am also a big fan of the "skip" button so that I don't have to play the ones I don't like or do well. It doesn't force you to work the level while it times out; you just move on to the next level. For those looking for "new and innovating," it's not for you. For those who like the familiarity and cheerfulness and relaxation, it's a good game.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The usual but still fun Yes, this series is a variation on a theme but it is still fun. So much better then those awful big file HO games that get churned out by the dozen. I even prefer these to Clutter, which has got extremely stale and bland. I don't have the sound on so have no idea about the music. I don't do the puzzles, never have - I do wish the developer would come up with something new for these. I HATE the 4 piece games and always skip. Overall, it's just a nice, relaxing, occasionally challenging game and I hope they keep bringing out more.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I Miss the original Shop-N-Spree I really wish they'd bring back the original kinds of games that they originally made. The 'Shop N Spree' games were so much fun and so much more challenging. These games are nothing but the same ole thing over and over.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from APPARENTLY, THIS DEVELOPER HAS NEVER BEEN CAMPING Once again, they couldn't bother to change the Christmas music? And FYI the last game was Winter Garden not Mr. Claus on Vacation! (shown on the BF synopsis) I'm betting this developer has never actually been camping because they weren't very creative with the objects they chose, most of which have nothing to do with camping OR glamping!...and what on earth does Underwear have to do with camping and why would anyone want a game with a bunch of random men's Tighty-Whities to match? I hate those Sun Hint icons, most of the challenge in the game comes from the fact that there are a gazillion suns that are literally the size of a golf ball so they clutter the board and cover everything you are supposed to be trying to find. You are left with no choice but to click to remove them just so you can see the clutter objects! I can understand having 5-10 on each level, but there are more sun icons than actual objects so unless you use the Hint to find every single object why would you need so many?...at a bare minimum make them smaller (take notes from the real Clutter games if need be!) There are only two modes of difficulty, Easy Mode which has no time restraints, and a Difficult mode with a time limit that gives you 500 extra points for not using Hints, and 10 extra points for time remaining. There are 140 Clutter-type levels that can be replayed if you want to earn a better score and there are 20 Puzzles available as well. Most of the puzzles are simple square swap variations with complicated mechanics, such as swapping adjacent squares, and each time you swap a square the orientation changes. I hate these types of puzzles because they are frustrating and annoying and I'm pretty sure everyone wants to play games for relaxation so why not have mini-games that are simply jigsaw variations, spider solitaire. word search...better yet, add a Spot the Differences variation. There's a big difference between a challenging game and one that is challengingly frustrating. Come enjoy Nature at my new Woodsey-themed forum. Rated 2 out of 5 by from What Do I like About This Game? Uninstalling it, that's it in a nutshell! What a boring, boring game but I shouldn't be surprised after 14 of the same old thing. Yes, I check the demos every time anyway, just hoping to see something new. Will the light bulb ever come on for this developer?? Shopping Clutter is in a deep rut and without change it will always receive low ratings. They are so unambitious that they don't even change the Christmas music!! And the abundance of sun emblems don't do anything but get in the way. There are so many! Removing them annoys me to no end. The clutter is full of typical junk but this time I find myself removing men's underwear! If it was intended as something cute, it was not. It was just weird! I thought more outdoorsy stuff would be included but there were monkeys, lots of food and misc that does not fit into the camping theme. I played against the usual animal "opponents" so my status didn't feel threatened since a battle never took place. I see no point of this even being a part of the game. In Easy Mode I progressed through 18 levels and a couple of puzzles that were small and super easy. There is no challenge in Shopping Clutter other than keeping my annoyance level down while trying to complete the demo. I don't like to abandon my trial time even with poor quality games. There are no fun features or options with Shopping Clutter, the mechanics are always the same. The matching becomes boring and monotonous because only a couple of styles are used. Each level is unlocked as one is completed and can be skipped or replayed via the Pause Menu. You can click through the dialogue which is not important to the gameplay. I imagine that if a camping trip with the Walkers were possible, we would be sitting around the campfire counting sun emblems instead of roasting marshmallows! Filling the campsite with equipment and whatnot is the same as decorating in the FM penguin adventures. The graphics are always very sharp and colorful, the kids will like the Walker family characters. The artwork is great for the younger set. If you enjoy easy-breezy clutter games, there's lots to sift through and maybe you'll not be irritated with the emblems. A good way to escape from the stresses of the day with 140 no-challenge levels and 20 puzzles. I own a couple of the much earlier releases and that is quite enough, considering that nothing ever changes in the 21 games but the titles/themes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Time to Revamp the Clutter Okay, enough is enough. Yes, they seem to have added new items for us to match, but they have absolutely NOTHING to do with camping! The mini games are the exact same type as the previous fourteen versions of the game. Isn't anyone at "Developer Camp" capable of coming up with something new? And for heaven's sake, can't they change up the music?? I could swear I heard Christmas music at one point. I was really hoping this newest version of Shopping Clutter would be fresh and innovative, but it's the same old thing and doesn't deserve more than a one star rating!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Oh, come on!! SO BAD. Even on a laptop monitor, it took under 15 minutes to finish the first chapter because it's far too easy. Maybe it gets harder as levels progress, but who wants to hear Christmas music as we slide into May? The sun hints just get in the way, don't carry over to the next level, and are unmissable; in other words, annoying. I did think the tighty-whities were kind of cute and I would hope someone on a camping trip had their undies with them!! The other Jetdogs series was awesome until they changed it. Instead of changing it back, the simply shut down the series and are now focusing on this mess. Big mistake. Huge.
