Rated 5 out of 5 by from Insane fun I loved this game. You can make fun chains and create explosives. It is quite difficult but that is why I enjoyed it. I do wish you could create different profiles but they have upgraded the game with directions and explanations that make it easier to navigate!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great match3/puzzle game! I can't believe what's happening with the ratings of this game. Obviously most of the people didn't play more than 5 levels, and apparently they didn't understand the game. First, this game would be better categorized as a puzzle. Second, the game is hard. I would like to see the people that say it's easy playing levels 24,25,26 or 27. Now lets go for the review itself: As I said, except for the tutorial levels, the rest of the game offers a challenge based on thinking before moving. The gameplay is based on the use of "magical squares" in which you can create explosives by making a combination on them. With these explosives you can destroy some objects such as the ice or rocks, which are two of the challenges of the game. In every island (20 levels) there are 2 paths two follow with 10 levels each one that end in a boss level, usually with the feature introduced in the island. The variety of objectives goes from obtaining quantities of gems inside a "pink zone", destroy the ice by matching jewels nearby or with explosives, destroying barriers between jewels, destroying rocks...until level 45 which is the last one I've played. The boosters are unlocked as you progress, there are supposed to be 5, with different power versions of each one. You have a number of movements to finish the level which makes it quite difficult...people complaining about that what do they want? A mindless game? Also the diagonal matching would make no sense in this game, the combinations would be too easy and would break line blast creation. It seems most of the bad ratings come from people who doesn't like this type of game...the only thing I agree with them is that there should be reshuffle and that the tutorial is a bit boring. In summary, if you don't like match3/puzzle games, like diagonal matching, like easy games...this is not your game. For the rest of people, try it yourself beyond the tutorial.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A different match 3 You won't find here a typical easy match 3 game. If you are looking for a challenging game with some new concepts then that is your game. The real fun begins after the tutorial, breaking the ice is just addicting! The graphics are not awesome but pretty nice. I particularly liked the way they handle the explosions system and the white squares, when you make a great combo is really satisfying!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Addictive I'm currently trying to defeat level 30 boss. First levels are easy, but later it gets a bit more difficult. Some matches create special jewels, and you have to think when is the best moment to use them. So far, I liked the ice block levels, and Boosters are quite helpful when you seem stuck. To say something bad, I would like to receive more gold for completing each level. In short, the game gets more interesting after the tutorial. Boss level (at least the 2 I've seen) are quite challenging!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Challenging game! I think the previous comment is a bit unfair. As long as I know the most popuar match 3 game ever only match in horizontal and vertical. I've used the boosters without problem, but you have to add them when you click the level, is explained in the tutorial. I like the challenges it offers and specially the boss levels. Is not a match 3 for everyone but give it a try, I recomment it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly addictive I found this game to be quite fun and addictive. Since it is a chain match-3, one must take a little time to figure out the best way to make a long chain. I usually do not like chain M3s but this one was nice. I easily got 3 crowns in each level of the first part, which is all I have played thus far.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Why don't M3 games come with rules anymore? Like so many recent M3 games, there is very little direction for game play and nothing at all to explain what the heck to do with the bonus level! Would it really be that much trouble to include a "Rules of Play" in M3 games? A list of the bonuses to refer back to as well as an explanation of the shop items? Yes, I do realize this info is given during the game play, but a guide to refer back to would be much more helpful and useful. The M3 developers of late seem to think everyone knows how to play M3 so they don't include any game info. If I were a new player of the genre, I wouldn't know enough to even bother trying. And that bonus level..I have played it eight times and won nothing!! The only thing I have figured out is that you get five tile picks...can anyone explain it? Also, as stated in a previous post, there is no shuffle when no moves are available so start the level over. The graphics are bright and easy to see but I had to do one level over four times...because there were no more moves available on the board! No shuffle...just done. With some finer tuning, this game could have been awesome. Instead, it's a bust for me. I only recommend this game because individuals should try it for themselves. I am sure is works for other players, just not me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Definitely not for me Evidently the bosses at this game company don't review the things their employees come up with because this should never have seen the light of day. The whole game is annoying starting with the tutorial and going right into the play. This isn't a hard game, it just doesn't have any play appeal. One of my biggest gripes in match 3, or any match game, is having a set number of moves to complete the level. I would almost rather see a timer which I pay more attention to. If you can't do the level in the moves given then you, eventually, end up spending all your gold or jewels or whatever which shouldn't happen in any game. Even if you are a die hard match gamer, I don't think you'll find this one fun, only frustrating. I don't recommend this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's Insanely Boring My least favorite type of Match 3 game is exactly what this Match 3 game is all about. This is where you click and drag a line vertically and horizontally to form a chain of as many identical gems as possible. To make matters worse, this game doesn't allow you to continue the chain in a diagonal direction, which make this game even less fun. My next least favorite feature is a Limited Moves Match 3, again, most levels in this game require you to match specific numbers of each colored gem within a specific number of moves. Needless to say, this Match 3 has little to offer me because it is a Chain type M3 within Limited Moves. For those of you who may like these features, here's what I found within the demo: The game warns you at the beginning that there is a seizure possibility, so please be careful. Each level has a different goal, most goals are obtaining specific quantities of specific gems as shown. The only feature I found to be challenging was with the introduction of the "pink zone" Only gems that are matched inside of the pink zone count towards the goals. Some gems have a Magic Square around them, if included within a match, it turns into a Bomb, some of which are directional. The larger the match is, the larger the explosion is. Bombs can be detonated by either a single click or once they are included within a match. Boosters will be unlocked as you progress, and you get to choose up to three boosters before the start of each level. Boosters include Missiles, Grenades, and Torpedoes of increasingly larger sizes. The Boosters can then be activated during the level in which chosen. After each Match 3 level, a screen will pop up that is filled with several question mark icons. You get to select several icons of your choice, to reveal your reward. The amount of icons you get to choose, depends on the previous levels score, from what I can tell, but it's really anybody's guess. Some have coins of various amounts, others have specific amounts of Diamonds. Coins and Diamonds can be used to purchase items in the Shop which allows you to purchase the booster weapons. Some items can only be purchased with the elusive Diamonds, but you are able to purchase Diamonds for your coins once you have earned enough.
