Flowers Garden Solitaire is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it despite.. I can see why Fishies think the colours are hard to see, but I focused hard & had little trouble despite being a senior & couldn't stop playing. But then I didn't have much option, as the next level commenced immediately I got my stars, so I just continued until demo stopped & I bought it. Nice music & lovely graphics, although didn't have much time to admire with the speed I was playing. As mentioned by others, reading instructions & looking for the goals in top R corner help with getting your stars - I had to replay a few levels a few times due to running out of cards, but mostly got 3 stars. I recommend you try this, as you can get used to the dark cards & numbers are fairly bright.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!! I am in total agreement with IsisRising and Pennmom...the graphics are actually the best graphics I have ever seen in a solitaire game, I love Deyteris games!!!! Wow! I know the cards are small but on my 11.6 inch laptop, they are very clear, much clearer on my 15 inch one...and yes, it is a bit busy, perhaps the cards could be larger, Developers, but other than that, love it, love it, love it!!! Keep up the great work and more like this one please!!!! The music is very relaxing and not annoying at all like I have seen in some games....I am not concerned with scores, I play solely to relax and this game is an instant buy for me!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely The graphics for this game are beautiful and the music is very relaxing. This is a higher or lower game, which I prefer and to win each hand you must remove a special card. The visuals are very pretty but make it hard to see the markings on the cards. There are no difficulty choices and this can be challenging. You can replay the levels if necessary. There are different lovely backgrounds that you can choose for the cards.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for garden & solitaire lovers The artwork really makes this game. You get 12 beautiful gardens as backdrop for the solitaire game, which is the GOLF variety. There are 120 levels and you have to earn a certain number of stars to access a new garden. Completion of each garden level also earns you a trophy, which is displayed in a bookshelf. All gardens can also be saved as screensavers. The power ups in the Shop aren't really needed until 50% into the game. There is no story to speak of, just the solitaire game with background music and beautiful backdrop while playing. You also get multiple choices for face cards. Note that when playing a level, you want to earn 3 stars and get rid of the ivy cards, number required is in upper right corner. Pay attention to that in order to earn 3 stars. You can earn 3 stars even without removing all cards on the table. Additionally, if you get rid of the requisite ivy cards without getting rid of enough cards, the game completes at 2 stars instead of 3 stars. This game also doesn't have obstructions on cards like some solitaire games, eg no duct tape, thorns etc. Very simple format game except for exception noted above. Good for people who like gardens and flowers, a treat to the eyes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from EASY AND FUN Very similar to the Roaring Twenty's Solitaire game but here you have flowers. It is sometimes hard to see the numbers depending on the background, but I found the game fairly easy to obtain three stars especially as you can replay every level as often as you want.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from VISUALLY THIS IS A 5 STAR GAME BUT HAS A COUPLE OF FEATURES I DISLIKE Flowers Garden Solitaire is a visually stunning game, the card choices are beautiful and the backgrounds are simply gorgeous. You can choose from 5 Flower Themed Cards and 2 Font styles, and there are 12 Trophies to earn. When you earn an award, a pop-up window appears to tell you why you earned the trophy, but they aren't labeled, either the ones you earned or what you have to do to earn the others, for future reference. This is a Higher/Lower type of Solitaire game and the goal is to earn 3 Stars. This is where the "cons" play a part in my decision to deduct a star from my rating. The game ends once you remove the Special Cards, even if other cards remain. This feature drives me absolutely bonkers because I want to be able to remove all of the cards from the board to win. I've never understood why the devs don't have an option to continue playing for points once the special cards have been collected, in fact, I think I only remember 1 Solitaire game of this type that offered this feature! The second issue I have with this game is with the Star scoring, which is confusing, to say the least. If you don't remove all the Special cards, you lose and have to replay the level. You can also remove all of the Special cards but only earn 1-2 Stars, and carry on? The only way to earn all 3 Stars, is to NOT remove the last Special card until the Star Meter at the top of the screen fills to the 3rd Star, but that requires taking a big chance that you'll be able to remove the last Special card, confused? Me too! You can use the Points or Coins you earn to buy Booster Cards in the Shop, but they are rather pricey in my opinion. You can purchase the option to show the amount of Deck Cards Remaining, Reveal 10% of Face Down Cards, the option to Remove a Card from the board, Purchase more Undo & Shuffle Features, and buy Wildcards. In order to use most of these features, you must first purchase the Right to do so, such as the opportunity to Discard a Card from the board. The Stars you earn can be used to purchase Flowers in the Garden Room as well as unlock new Packs. I couldn't figure this option out, every time I clicked on the Flower that I had enough Coins to purchase, it would activate a Level pop-up window that kept taking me to whichever level I clicked on, and when I'd return to the Garden Room, the flower I chose was still available and hadn't been added, so good luck trying to figure that out. If this game had the ability to continue playing after the Special Cards were removed, it would definitely be a 5 Star game, but that's just my personal preference. If you don't mind this style of Solitaire it's a really good game otherwise.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not overjoyed I love solitaire games and bought this when it first came out without my usual waiting to see other ratings and have to agree with other reviewers. The cards no matter what design you choose are hard to read and have to play several levels over and over until you win. Plus in the garden section I have 47 stars, one garden item only needs 25 to purchase and no matter how many times I click on it it won't work - just flips me into the next level. This would have been a good game but the above ruined it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but Not that Fun I agree with Pennmom here, the game is visually beautiful, but the mechanics are not enjoyable and they are not explained. It is completely hit or miss as to whether you finish a hand with 1, 2 or 3 stars. If you want 3 stars, you're going to be replaying levels for a very long time. As beautiful as the game is, I passed on buying it. It seems designed to be frustrating rather than enjoyable. I give it a neutral 3 stars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Much To Busy On The Eyes It has a very pretty background to look at. But, between the busy cards and busy background, it's enough to give me a headache. I think if they made the cards a plain solid color it would be a lot easier on the eyes. Then I would be able to play. Couldn't finish the trial period because of the strain on my eyes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointing Visually this game was hard on the eyes. Pretty, but too many flowers. Maybe if the cards had been simple without flowers on them too it would have worked. Also you have to clear the entire board to move on. Yes there are power-ups but they are really spendy. Takes forever to earn enough to buy them. And it is simply one up one down over and over. No mini-games. Nothing to build. Boring.
