Reflections of Life: Utopia Collector's Edition is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Steamiepunk Good came . I went back and forth on giving it a 4 or 5. Graphic's were excellent. The game was rather longer than most I have played in the last couple of years. Little more fantasy type game . One did search for many items and there was many morphine and feather items and I do mean many but it you miss them one can look for them when the game and bonus game is done. It did slow down some but not to boring that I wanted to quit but almost enough that I was going to give it a 4 star review . Try the game first to see if it is your type of game and if you like it buy it. If you don't like it will not change much and get better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good game, many collectables This is solid game. It has three types of collectables per scene: 1 hidden object 2 feathers (in the man scene, same shape 2 coins ( the are in zoom-in parts, well hidden) Make sure to collect these right away, sometimes you won't be able to go back and get coins. After playing through everything you can pick up missing feathers ( since you will need all of them to get the bonus HO scene) There was one glitch with the ladder; the hammer and nails were not used to make the ladder, did not stop game progress. A solid game with state of the art graphics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the new Reflections Of Life game live up to the high standards of the series? Reflections Of Life is my favorite game series. Everything else gets put aside when a new game is released.. The graphics are always gorgeous, much more detailed and intricate than other games. The games are easy to play, but not predictable or boring.. Love the steampunk vibe. I'm hearing impaired, so I asked a friend to listen to it-they said the music and other sounds are unobtrusive and a good background for game-play. IMO, Utopia is a great and worthy addition to the series and is as excellent as the rest of the games..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Off to the Mechanical Toy Fair I'm Grace from the order of the Guardians. I have been invited to the mechanical toy fair and someone nabs my owl. I have to get my mechanical owl back. Liked my journal that keeps notes and pass videos. Different worlds, neat characters. Four long chapters + bonus. Collect 54 ancient coins (they look like a pin) 54 feathers and 27 morphs. Beautiful game. Nice hops. Liked some puzzles. The theater with five animals you can dress up is silly. Great quality game. The hidden puzzle is a hops. Replay 15 hops, 11 puzzles, 26 movies and 8 music. Wallpaper 9 and concept art 9.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ONE OF THE BEST GAMES IN THE REFLECTIONS OF LIFE SERIES Reflections of Life Utopia is, IMHO, one of the best games in the series. I didn’t even bother to purchase the last game, which is very unusual for me. I think I have almost all the Reflections of Life games since series began as they were graphically beautiful with great storylines. Utopia brings back what I loved most about the Reflections of Life series in that it has a wonderful storyline, interesting and entertaining puzzles that I enjoyed solving and HO scenes that were excellent. For me the game moved at a great pace as I searched for the items I required to move forward. Although some might find the game easy, I had to use the dreaded hint button far more often than I generally do when playing HOPA games. The HOS were very creative and sometimes the needed items were not easy to find. Although there were more puzzles in the game than HOS, it didn’t bother me as I did enjoy the puzzles that were included; some of which were my favorites. When I first started the demo, I didn’t think I would enjoy the game as much as I finally did because I am not fond of puppets or carnivals but by the time the demo ended I hit the purchase button and as so glad that I did because, IMHO, the game is excellent. I simply had to find out why Pandora was in the Casket World, how she got there and why she was always punishing Ada. Although, Reflections of Life Utopia rates among the top four games I’ve played this year, please try the demo to see if it is a game you will enjoy. Happy gaming! Please stay safe and healthy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ESCAPE FROM THE WORLD OF CASKETS REVIEW BASED UPON THE ENTIRE GAME 4 Chapters Plus a Bonus Chapter – Strategy Guide: 34 pages (My time: 6 Hours) OPINION: As a member of the Order of Guardians, you, Grace, are off to a mechanical toys fair at the invitation of toymaker, Gustav Weber. However, upon arrival, you discover you were deceived by this misguided mechanical wizard. Find yourself trapped in the World of Caskets, a fantasy world controlled by the evil queen, Pandora. Within this realm you will meet Ada, Gustav’s younger sister, who is also trapped within its boundaries. Battle Pandora, learn the truth about Ada and her brother, and plot your escape! I found this game a vast improvement for this developer. A great deal of work and creative design went into this game! The story behind the game piqued my interest. The story takes some twists and turns as the player meanders around the World of Caskets. The graphics are amazingly beautiful and there is mouth movement from the characters. The player has the option to play two of the chapters dealing with the Aquatic Realm and the Carnival Realm in any order he or she chooses. That is a nice touch! There are three collectibles. Collect coins to purchase costumes for five mythical creatures. You have the choice between two styles of costume for each creature. Collect morphing objects and feathers. I found most easy to locate but there are some which are well-hidden. If you miss any of the collectibles you can return to the scenes at the end of the game. There are fifteen (15) HOP scenes in the game. All can be replayed at the end. This game provides the time and accuracy for each HOP scene played. Most of the scenes are lists of items and they are very interactive. There is an optional Match-3 game which can be played instead. There are also several mini-HOP scenes which consist of locating five or six items. There are some other styles of HOP scenes such as silhouette, spot-the-differences, matching, and locating items by design or from a small segment of the item. There is a bonus HOP scene which can be played upon completion of the game. There are twenty-nine (29) mini-games and most are easy. There are some which can be played in either a “hard” or “casual” mode. I found most creatively designed. There is one Rube-Goldberg puzzle in the game. MECHANICS: • Four (4) levels of play including a customized version. • 13 achievements. • Collect 54 coins to purchase outfits for 5 creatures • Collect 54 feathers and 27 morphing objects • 9 wallpapers along with concept art, music and video sequences • Replay 15 HOP scenes and 11 mini-games • Extra HOP scene playable at the end BONUS CHAPTER: It is a prequel. Play Arthur Lumiere, a character from the main game. When your wife, Eleanor, is kidnapped, you are off to locate her. Meet a woman in the town square who informs you that Gustav, the toymaker, has kidnapped your wife and is holding her daughter, Agnes, captive as well. Now you must enter the World of Caskets to locate your wife and save this girl. There are six (6) mini-games and two (2) HOP scenes. Continue to collect the collectibles. I found this chapter comparable to the main game. SPOILERS: HERE ARE SOME OF THE MINI-GAMES AFTER THE DEMO: (C=Casual, H=Hard) Aquatic Realm: A. C/H Entrapment puzzle. On a grid with hexagonal squares, move a spider until it entraps an evil tree so it cannot escape. Each square the spider lands on turns into a spider. B. C/H Rube-Goldberg Puzzle (1) Sequence puzzle. Collect bubbles from smallest to largest (2) Physical puzzle. Lead colored bubbles to their matching colored tube. (3) Matching puzzle. Uncover bubbles to match symbols C. Logic puzzle. Figure out the position of 4 gems. There are 8 chances to get the right combination by color and placement. Each entry indicates if that color is part of the four and if that color is in the proper location. Carnival Realm: D. Maze puzzle. Move a latch through a maze to a door at the end of the maze. Use a dial which provides for 2, 3, or 4 spaces for the latch to move. E. Rotating rings puzzle. Rotate 3 rings so that denizens of each animal kingdom are together. F. Maze puzzle. Fill in a maze with silver. Every portion of the maze must be filled in and you must move consecutively from one section to the other. Bonus Chapter: G. Rotating tiles puzzle. Rotate tiles to create a route for an airship to travel to its destination H. Switch puzzle. Switch 5 gems so each is within its matching colored slot I. Sequence puzzle. Press shields in sequence to remove roots. J. Assembly puzzle. Follow directions to make a potion

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Steampunk fun! A very pleasant game! Complex music, colorful but easy-on-the-eyes artwork, interesting plot and characters, lots of neat mechanical things. Difficulty level just right for me, not too easy but not so hard I start skipping things in frustration. Several recipe style puzzles, which I really enjoy. After finishing the game you can go back to find missed morphs and collectibles, always a plus. Would love to drink wine with Eleanor in her underwater home. Failing that, would have settled for using this setting as wallpaper, but alas, it wasn't offered. I'm fine with monsters and demons, but its also a pleasure to have a peaceful game that isn't silly. Well, the theater and animals with costumes are kind of silly but I liked them too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from an enjoyable game to play in lockdown i don't normally purchase CE games because i can't be bothered looking for all the things but this game gave you the option to find them at the end to play the final puzzle chapter (which really was only a very simple puzzle - not sure why they included it ! The puzzles were easy (not a puzzle person but i was able to get them all without the walkthrough or skip). I don't really care about a series storyline (sorry) i treat them all as a stand alone story line and i enjoyed this one. Overall -it was a good game that i enjoyed passing the time in lockdown. Try the demo - happy gaming :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Addition to the series Thank goodness for Grandma .. my favorite developer. With the loss of so many of our favorites and no new ones coming along I truly appreciate the effort of Grandma to continue to produce our games. That being said I do agree that it wasn't up to the standard of the earliest games in the series but was certainly entertaining! Bring back my owl !!!!!! The HOPs were varied and fun, and so the puzzles were a good mix of easy and more challenging so I didn't mind so much skipping the harder ones. I will continue to support Grandma in whatever comes along.
