Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hurray! A Fun Game! Well, this is fun! A refreshing change of pace of late. Great graphics and easy to find objects that aren't crazy small like others. Not your average run of the mill HO game. Different strategies and a Match 3 thrown in. Very well done and worth the coupon!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Horrible cartoon people, but otherwise a fun game I wasn't sure I wanted to even try it based on the horrible cartoon people, but I'm glad I did. Fortunately the parts where the characters show up can be skipped through quickly. The objects aren't too easy (especially for people used to HO games), but not too hard either since the scenes are not too dark. I like the variations on the HO scenes and always like some Match 3 thrown in. Overall I would recommend as a nice, relaxed HO game.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NOT A GREAT GAME. JUST SOMETHING TO PASS THE TIME If you like HOPS then you will love this game because you will find an abundance of them here. Unfortunately, the graphics are not very clear, and some of the objects are hard to find. Without the magnifier that is provided, it would be near impossible to find all that you need to find. When it shows the 'family', it's almost laughable how fake and bizarre they are depicted. If one was to judge this game solely on what the characters looked like, this game would get no reviews at all. Still, one can overlook the family and skip their conversations, and jump right to the HOP'S. I did purchase this game but was smart enough to use my FREE coupon.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OKAY HOG, PEPPY GERMAN MUSIC, A LITTLE BLURRY ON THE GRAPHICS This is an okay HOG for me, but there really isn't anything special about it that has me scrambling for the buy button, and some of the scenes are a tad on the blurry side. The fact still remains that it's just another "Travel to" game and without new features being added, they just aren't games I look forward to anymore, I know they are going to have the same MO as the last game and the one before that. One of the biggest reasons I don't feel the need to purchase these games lately is because the items never change position when you replay the levels, which is a requirement to earn the necessary stars to unlock the next level in order to progress, therefore, it can get boring quickly. You can play in 3 different modes, a Relaxed Untimed Mode, 10-Minute Timed Mode, or a 3-Minute Timed Mode to complete each level. You will earn a single star on each HO location and the next location requires 2-3 stars to unlock it. The Hidden Object Modes change between Listed Item, Silhouetted Shapes, and Scrambled Letter Modes, however, the objects never move they are always in the same place, although the objects to find may vary slightly...but usually only one or two objects vary on the list! What this boils down to is that you can basically guess at the objects by the time you roll around to the silhouetted shapes, and scrambled letters and get 99% of them right! Each scene has a Lazy Turtle to discover (once you find him he won't appear when you replay the same scene in a different mode) There are trivia facts before visiting each location as well. I still think the developers need to use their Lazy Turtle Logo versus the cheap plastic turtle because this developer's Lazy Turtle Logo is one of the coolest logos I've seen. He's an adorable "lazy" turtle wearing a sombrero and leaning up against a palm tree. If they used a semi-transparent image of this logo and hid it in each scene it would be much more challenging to spot, which is the point of a hidden collectible that isn't on the list! (free advertising never hurts either!) The Hudson Family's trip locations include: ~Nuremberg, Christkindlesmarket ~Munich, Oktoberfest ~Stuttgart ~Bonn, Beethoven's house ~Dusseldorf ~Berlin, Reichstag ~Dresden ~Rothensburg ob der Taber ~Leipzig ~Hamburg ~Cologne ~Schwarzwald ~Frankfurt, Romerberg ~Stuttgart, Old Castle ~Berlin, Botanical Garden Mini-Games Available: ~Jigsaw ~Octoberfest (Solitaire) ~Travel Cards (Matching Card Pairs) ~Octoberfest (Match 3) ~German Cities (Word Search) TRAVEL TO...SERIES LIST Title***Release Date***Average Rating 1-Travel To Italy (February 4-2019) 2.9 2-Travel To France (September 9-2019) 2.5 3-Travel To England (December 29-2019) 3.2 4-Travel To USA (April 1-2020) 3.9 5-Travel To Japan (May 29-2020) 3.0 6-Travel To Australia (July 6-2020) 3.1 7-Travel To Mexico (September 21-2020) 3.3 8-Travel To Spain (October 5-2020) 3.5 9-Travel To Germany (December 7-2020) n/a by: Lazy Turtle Games

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay game, disappointing travel pics I have played all the 'Travel to...' demos and I have enjoyed them. Nice scenery and not too difficult. This is the first time I noticed one of the scenes was mislabeled. The scene labelled as Hollenzollern Castle near Stuttgart was actually Neuschwanstein Castle 2 hours southeast of Stuttgart in the foothills of the Alps. Another scene looked more like a town on the Mediterrean (I forget what it was labelled as). Makes me wonder how many of the other scenes in 'Travel to Germany' and the other 'Travel to...' demos were also poorly researched. Sort of ruins the 'travel' aspect of the game. If you're only interested in the hidden object aspect, this game is okay.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not so much I do not usually play HO games but like one of the other reviewers I was looking for something to remind me of Germany where I lived for several years. This developer missed the boat on the music, could have had German music throughout. I finally turned off the music because it was annoying and not German. There really is no storyline like I have seen in other HOGs. The game itself is easy enough for a novice HOG player like myself but I would think it would bore others. Overall I'm disappointed because they could have done more in this game.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Honestly??? As a German, I was curious about this "Travel to Germany" HOG. I shouldn't even have tried to play. Do the developers actually know anything about Germany??? I mean, to mistake Neuschwanstein Castle for Hohenzollern Castle - really??? Stuttgart set in the Allgäu region??? And what do all the sceneries chosen have to do with Christmas??? My advice in the direction of the developers: Make your homework, first, before you present a game about a country you obviously have no clue about. In the days of internet, even you should be able to do proper research.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I lasted a whole 10 minutes Okay, so I hate junkpile HOGs, which this is in spades. Further, after the first level, you have to buy the levels with stars earned by replaying earlier levels. The first city, Nuremberg, had a list scene, then a silhouette one. What comes after, I have no idea, because I took my two stars and unlocked Stuttgart, where I lived for a while. Eh, Stuttgart is hilly, but not THAT hilly, and no, that castle is NOT in Stuttgart. At that point, I gave it up. I lived in various cities in Germany for 15 years, and was looking for some nostalgia, but, sorry, not finding it here. The music is not German, except for the intro. And it's on a short loop making it annoying. The developers made evidently no attempt to get it right, judging from the awful misplacement of Stuttgart in the heart of the Alps. As to the game itself... IF you are a fan of straight HOGs with, evidently, some minigames but no puzzles, you may actually like this. I suppose putting aside the factual discrepancies, the object hunt is what it is. If you find that fun, you will maybe enjoy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Money Back I can play this game without problems for the first hour trial, but when I purchase it, I can't see the items I'm supposed to find. Why is that? I would like my money back. This has happened to me before with other games that I paid $20.00, $10.00 etc. and you never reimbursed me. I will have to stop buying from Big Fish it this keeps happening. Please reply ASAP.
