Dark Romance: Sleepy Hollow is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Game I have at least 10 of the Dark Romance games and this one is just as good as the others. I really enjoyed playing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Liked It!! Good game. Also, people need to use newer computers sometimes on these games. Bad revues are not fair because your computer is older and won't open or play games well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots to Do I enjoyed playing this game. I loved that there weren't just rubbish piles of HOPs and that there were lots of different ways of finding objects. The usual can't use a broom where you would want to use a broom but it has to be a rake etc. Different ways of removing nails etc. The bonus game took me nearly 2 hours which I find unusual for a bonus chapter. I should have timed my game play but it was around 5 hours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice game Based on demo: Overall: Good game, easy going Graphics: Very good, with bright colors, scenes with beautiful details and pleasant atmosphere Lenght: 3 hours according to YouTube's walkthrough Story : Without surprises Mini games & H.O.scenes: Fun and easy Interesting? : Usual, neither exciting nor boring Action takes place among 3 scenes so you do not have to remember places way back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Demo was lots of fun I usually customize my demo to be easy because I play HO games to relax for a bit. I admit I don't care about story lines, ever, so I can't attest to this one either. I also shut off any game's music so no luck on that one either. But the graphics are well done, and I'm sure in less easy modes it can be challenging enough. It's not full of features as are other games (and I LOVE Domini!) but it's worth your time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I Expected More I have not tried a Dark Romance game before, so I have no idea if this is a good representative. I liked the idea of switching between the two main characters. But given the good name of the Dark Romance series, I was rather expecting more. Graphics and puzzles are fairly standard. I did enjoy playing this game but it certainly didn't stand out among the masses of other very similar games. Evil people are evil, good people are good. No shades of grey in this game. You can sort of tell who's who based on their graphics. There is fairly little suspence, despite the subject matter, which is where my main disappointment lies. I expected the game to be more thrilling. In one scene a side character saves the main character at a huge personal risk, with an angry mob literally beating at the door!- and the main character moves leasurely around the house happily muttering about helping out with the fixing of furniture! And it is not the only odd scene. There is another moment where one main character saves the other from public execution (at least the characters are saving one another more or less equally) and the other just smiles condescendingly and walks away without a word. Romance, it aint. Baffling, absolutely. Equaly baffling that the mob surrounding the execution just does nothing. And the most damning, I think, is the one key scene where two characters are fighting but they make the same attack/defense move over and over again, while the remaining main character moves all around them, solving different puzzles and collects several items while the Bad Guy looks on, doesn't do anything to stop you and then acts surprised when you use the weapon you have been contructing under their nose. tl;dr: It's a decent game, just not that exciting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I Can't Believe I Played the Whole Thing This was undoubtedly the longest, silliest, most mind-numbing game I've ever played. I thought it would never end. You play as Katrin (or is it pronounced Kaytrin? In this game, it's either/ or.) accomplishing valiant deeds interspersed with the most tedious, inconsequential tasks, and then you, the brave, indefatigable heroine, {SPOILER ALERT] return the horseman's head to him and accept the marriage proposal of the poor schlub detective who couldn't get the job done without you, exclaiming that it's what you've been dreaming of your whole life. TA-DA! The End.
