Rated 5 out of 5 by from Different Take on The Little Mermaid Demo only; casual mode-- loved the graphics and the voices matched the characters. Characters to find as well as morphing objects; found characters easily morphs were a little tougher. Although they may get harder as the game progresses. Map transports you and also indicates whether or not there are characters to find as well as morphing objects. After the year we had I prefer fantasy games (usually prefer them anyway) and hopefully this one will have a happy ending as we can all use one. This is a definite buy for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Think There's Something Fishy Here! I remember the great underwater adventures from years ago, loved them! Hopefully we have another great one to dive into. The demo began with beautiful underwater graphics and creepy-looking mermaids. That was enough to catch my attention. I was immediately given a magical pearl to save me from the most dire situations. So I was eager to see what my special gift could do. Stories of humans and sea dwellers always intrigue me. My inventory quickly filled and emptied, parts to the Plus Items were readily available. Items were not difficult to find . There was a good map but didn't need it, minimal back and forth. Engaged with just a couple of characters. All I accomplished was collecting this and that, unable to reach the action part of the story. Didn't even think to check out all the extras at the beginning. There was a lot of storytelling, both vocal and written, with simple hand-drawn illustrations, all could be skipped. I didn't care much for the voice-overs. The artwork throughout the demo was wonderful. I liked that the sea creatures were designed to be more unique than frightful in appearance. The scenes displayed rich, beautiful color and were full of interesting things that caught my eye. The buildings were creatively rendered, most decorations inside and out had to do with the sea. I loved the dank atmosphere of the seaside village. The collectibles were easily found, except the morphs weren't so obvious. A handy pop-out indicator kept count of them. I played one interactive HOP, it was dark, some items were very small, but I enjoyed it. I had three puzzles, not too difficult, all were fun. I have no idea of how many HOPs and puzzles we'll have but hopefully not an over-abundance of either. I'm definitely interested in the storyline with sea dwellers and humans at odds with each other. I'll probably buy this game because it comes from Friendly Fox which means fine quality and the theme of the story seems like a good adventure. I rated 5 stars, expecting it not to disappoint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from so relaxing Beautiful game. Love the graphics, the story and most of all it's very relaxing to play. I don't feel rushed and sometimes easy is good. I love challenging games as well but at times I prefer to just enjoy the view.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Neptune and his Mermaid Daughters Really enjoyed this game. The hops are wonderful. The story kept me entertained. It's beautiful. The five screensavers are nice and they have some movement like a waterfall and under the sea. I kept playing with the character collectibles from regular to cursed from accessing them from the map on the collectible tab. There are two per scene. The morphs are also two per scene and it seems to me one is easier and one is harder. I think the harder one is too slow. Great indicator. You have to give Morgana the keeper of legends of Sunshine Island magic pearls to get clued in on what went on. I liked some of the mini-games. I like the mazes and the codes. I didn't like the match three type in my colors against a opponent. It feels rigged toward the opponent. I don't like the mini-game you can play from finding all the enchanted mermaids. I wish it was a hops. Always like to access things while playing. The map has achievements, tasks, notes and events which you can replay a cutscene if you get called away or if you just want to see it again without shutting down the game. It has 4 chapters. Replays on hops, mini-games, movies and music. Achievements are good except the racing thru the game one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Close To Perfect! Pay attention all you developers taking shortcuts on your CEs. This is how it's done. Great story, generous game play, visually appealing, challenging, and oh yeah, fun! The mini games could have been a little more challenging though, however, this Living Legends is the best in the series for me. I am definitely pleased with this purchase. Well done Friendly Fox!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful game! I really like this developer. The game is fun and just beautiful. A lot comes with the Collector Edition (worth buying it, and not to talk about the bonus game after completing the game).
