Lost in Reefs is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I got hooked on completing this game… It's a match three with tons of mode options, power up items, colorful if unsophisticated artwork. There are 6 different play modes -- 1 each of swap, group and chain in both hexagonal and square grid forms. You can switch between modes at any time. There is both timed and relaxed options. You can't switch between those, however. The timer seemed generous enough. If you do run out of time, you play the board again -- no lives to lose, so the game can't beat you. The game is enjoyable because there is a lot going on during the match 3 play. You are also collecting Gold, Fish and Tools that you need to buy your underwater city. This is one busy match 3. And with an untimed mode it's certainly a relaxed way to spend some spare time… Actually, a lot of spare time -- this is a long game. It has 420 levels to complete the game -- more if you haven't also reached 300,000 points. There are a variety of power ups earned during board play. (Downside is they are awarded randomly, so you don't always have access to the best one for the board you are playing). Complete the game and you get to open the secret door … Hopefully getting that far will be it's own reward.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Why am I addicted? I am a Match 3 fan but hadn't purchased any for awhile because they all seemed very similar to me. After playing a preview of this one I bought because it offers more options for different game play. Group, swap and chain, and you can also choose to play square or hexagon patterns or both. Complete everything to open a secret door at the end, but don't get too excited.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from same-o same-o I really like match 3 which I prefer to play, however this match 3 is very bland...nothing new to how it is played. It probably would be better if it didn't take so long and so many $ points to achieve a fish or "building" in the scene. Got real boring and frustrating very quickly. You could chose the kind of board and type of match 3 you wanted to play, but that was about it. Long, long, long game. Started out fun, but got old fast. I played the non timed game and I can't imagine how slow and frustrating it would be timed. There are better match 3 games out there.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Two ways about it I enjoy the music and love the graphics, however, it takes forever to accumulate gold, fish and tools to buy an upgrade. If you have patience you might enjoy this; I have to a point but not to this extent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is ok It's visually very well done, I like all the bouncy buttons and effects. But the way it plays could be better. I could not figure out when a level is completed - the bar fills up fast, and then it is minutes and minutes where it just stays below the finish - no matter what great combos you make. Maybe I missed something in the instructions, but still...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from does it ever end I am at level 980. Does this game ever end. I always play my games to the very end, but this one may be an exception.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A Good Game BADLY Designed. I don't know how anyone can give this Game 5 Stars! The Game is SLOW and Tedious - and totally ruined by the fact that it takes a VERY VERY LONG time to gather enough resources to buy new buildings. I played for hours and could only build ONE building per day - at that rate I will be playing for WEEKS for finish the Game. Also there is NO "Reshuffle" button so you could get stuck in corners with no possibility of making matches in that area (which happens quite often) so you have to wait until a power-up is generated and hope that you get the right power-up to break the Stale-mate position. Sorry but I can't be bothered ...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mediocre Match 3 I'm a huge Match 3 fan but this game is not for me. For one thing, while it's easy to get explosions, they don't seem to actually do anything. Plus there are levels on which you must use powerups and I'm a powerup purist--I don't like to use them at all. It takes forever to buy new things or get new fish swimming in your view. Just not the "bang for the buck" I'm used to in a Match 3 game.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sorry The first thing I noticed is that the math does not add up. You get thousands in gold, but your score is 500??? Lost in the Night was great but I cannot recommend this one. If you hit the "bombs" on certain screens, Windows 7 blanks out.
