Rated 5 out of 5 by from Basic but great time passer As has been said, this is a very basic HOG but the graphics and interweaved story updates, make it a solid, light, fun winner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FINALLY! A GOOD OLD FASHION HIDDEN OBJECT GAME! A very good, basic hidden object game, Explore 20 hidden object rooms to unveil a dark old mystery. Chose Timed Mode over Relaxed for added challenge. Objects are recognizable and well placed with some trickier than others. Look in corners and around screen edges. This is, after all, a HOG and there's always that last one we can't seem to find! Can use 5+ hints each level. Varied degrees of challenge throughout. It's not complicated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Pleasant Surprise I must confess that I started playing this game with some trepidation. I wasn't sure whether I would enjoy an old, strictly Hidden-Object (HO) game, after having played so many recent, more "advanced" HO games. So it was quite a pleasant surprise indeed when I found just how enjoyable this game really is! The game offers two versions: The Original Scenes (OS) and the Mirrored Scenes (MS). But you must first play the OS before you can unlock and thus play the MS version. Each version also has two difficulty modes: Relaxed and Timed. I played in the Timed mode which, I think, is the most enjoyable because of the "strategy" that goes into playing it in order to get the highest "rank" at the end of the game. I should note: I couldn't find all the possible ranks anywhere in the game, but I played the game several times and noticed how my rank increased the more quickly I finished it. I should also note that this is not a strictly HO game either. For every six HO scenes, you get three puzzles: the Mirror Puzzle, the Find-The-Differences Puzzle, and a Jigsaw Puzzle. You can actually get extra hints by solving the Mirror and Find-The-Differences puzzles. But the game allows you a maximum of only 5 hints at a time. So that's where the strategy comes in: how many hints do you want to use up, how can you recover more hints, in order to get the highest possible rank at the end of the game. And, yes, the storyline is quite interesting, and the graphics are great too. In short, if you just want to kick back and enjoy a simple game that you can make as challenging as you like, this is the game for you! :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's just a short walk to get there You see that phrase between almost every screen as each has to load. You visit each room at least twice for Hidden objects and special items such as boxes and keys. There is a story but it is more a filler to tie the rooms together than an actual story. Most objects are usually findable but some are the same color as the background they are on and a few are along the edges and only partially visible. The mini games are find the differences that are pretty easy, mirror reflection of a light beam to reveal locations of special items and fix the picture where square orientations are changed to reveal the pictures. There are 5 hints but many question marks sprinkled in screens to replenish them. There are trivia scattered between scenes about medieval life. To finish the game you need to find mirror shards and reassemble the mirror. the game is a good basic HOS type.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Two Games in One + Collectibles Basic HOG and some items are quite hard to find which adds some challenge. You collect 59 tin cans and mirros in each HOS. The more mirrors you collect the more hints you have. The tin cans are hidden really well as the games progress which adds more challenge. When you complete the game, you unlock the "mirror mode" which is exactly the same game but played in reversed (as shown in the mirror) - loved the challenge! As there are actually two games this game is good value for money. First game took me well over 5hrs without skipping any puzzles. This is an older HO game but I still enjoy it every now and then.
