Big City Adventure: Vancouver is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Take me to Canada! I've been on another marathon. Obviously, this one is the Big City Adventure series of games. Toronto - definitely my favorite so far. What I like: Little footprints traveling across the map (I think their Grandma's but that's just me - lol); sound effects - really great in this version of the game; the mini games, which have been of a greater variety in this version; and the history lesson we get on each location we visit - LOVE IT! What I Didn't Like: Still .... the HOG scenes (hidden object game) are still terribly overloaded with hundreds upon hundreds of other items that aren't needed it's impossible to find the items on our list. By now, that issue should be getting better and NOT worse; how sensitive the "hint" button is - sometimes I click on it but it registers 2 quick clicks and I lose a hint; AND that I have to earn hints at all - really, really dislike that in any game. IF I do choose to purchase one of these games, right now Toronto is in the lead. But, there are a few games left to play so that could change. I'll keep you posted. I encourage everyone to try this game. Beginners might find it difficult but for family game night, it'd be a sure winner in my book. Happy Gaming!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute and Cosy This game has 69 levels and 7 different puzzles/mini games that appear throughout the game, between each hidden object scene. There are limited skip coins that you collect for the mini games and you can only have five at any one time. I found that if you don't spend your skips too soon, you'll have a safety net for later on when the mini games become more difficult. It wasn't so much of a problem in this game because overall, they were quite fun and easy, but in other Big City Adventure games, they can be a bit more tedious and you might want to skip. In each HOS there is a hidden blue area, that can be zoomed into. You will find a couple of hidden objects here. There are also limited hints in the HOS. I find that if you go into limited time mode, you can start the scenes again if need be and get more hint coins that way. I love the cute soft toys that feature throughout the scenes, no humans allowed! You'll get teddy bears piloting planes and things like that. I found it a cosy and appropiate game for winter and I love the fun facts about Vancouver too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Its ok:) If you are a beginer this game is good:) but alot of dark places had to keep adjusting my screen to see..Only played the free version and i think i was almost done.. Worth it if your just starting out with these kinds of games..

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cluttered I love Big City Adventures but this one had me straining my eyes to find the objects. Some images were so small or partially hidden by other objects to you couldn't tell what it was. I don't care to spend over 5-10 minutes to find an object and with this game I had to use the 'hint' button quite a few times. I don't recommend this for the visually impaired but others might be more patient than I am.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Although it shows 69 adventures you only get a handful of screens and then there are about 5 mini games that only get slightly more complicated as you go along. I thought this was going to showcase the entire city, not only 12 areas of interest. Disappointed and will not buy any other Big City Adventure games.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not up to my previous experience with Big City Adventures I recently finished Big City Adventures London Story and loved it, so I bought this game. I am sorry I did. It is nowhere close to the caliber of London Story. Where London Story had a strong story line and required the player to explore around, discover things, etc, this game is just a series of extremely difficult HOP scenes strung together by a feeble story line. So far I have learned a few interesting facts about the history of Vancouver, but that is not why I purchased the game. Unless you are from the south western corner of Canada, I don't recommend this game.
