Fiction Fixers: Alice in Wonderland is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ow, my eyes! This is a wonderful little game you can enjoy alone or with your kids without worry. The hidden object scenes are straightforward lists. The objects can be tiny, faint, only small portion showing, or just plain well hidden. If you don't like to use hints, you may find your nose pretty close to the screen, searching for everything. This is a game where a magnifier tool would be helpful (maybe for the next game in the series?). Voice-overs were good, artwork cartoony but pleasant and the game ran without a hitch for me. There is no option for difficulty. I've got hundreds of games under my belt, but I tend to be a bit slow, and it took me just under four hours, so a reasonable length. I liked the Oz episode a little better, but I love that this series has a completely novel storyline. No amulets or lost relatives here. Thank goodness! And thanks to the developers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun without High Challenge The visuals are lovely here, and the gameplay is varied and fun. However, it isn't a good game for hard-core adventure gamers looking for a challenge--the puzzles are straightforward and the game provides a lot of "sparkle-guidance." My 8-year-old loved playing it and didn't need much or any help. A good game when you aren't looking for a brain-workout.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great game for ages 12 and under, kind of boring for adults I've never left a review before but felt the need to do so with this one. The story is very much like the classic tale with a very very small twist. I found a lot of the mini games to be challenging, but not so hard that you need a skip or a hint. I played it with my 9 year old daughter and she loved it, and I on the other hand was very bored with it but finished it with her because she loves playing the hidden object games with me, and found this one to be her favorite since it's very cartoon-like. We finished the entire game in just a few minutes over 3 hours, as it tells you how long your game play is. The HOS were nice and neat and some were pretty difficult, as it only showed a small bit of an object halfway off the screen. The voice overs were cute, but without mouth movement, and all scenes were pictures, there wasn't any movement. I read the reviews on this game and bought it because of the reviews, which I felt to be a little misleading. If you're going to get this game, use it as your free game, do not purchase it. I don't hardly ever use the one hour trial first when I choose a game because I feel it just takes up unnecessary room on my computer, so if I think a game looks good and has good reviews, I buy the game. This is a game I wish I would've used the hour trial, because I wouldn't have wasted my money. As I said before, this is definitely a game for a child, and not an adult, you will find it very boring, and like I said, we finished it in a little over 3 hours.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fiction Fixers: Alice In Wonderland This is a very cute game that kids will adore, but adults will eventually become bored. In a nutshell, you are a cadet at the Fiction Fixers agency and you are teamed up with a seasoned agent, Phoebe. Where there is classic literature, you can be sure that the Illerati will be there, trying to ruin the storyline of classic literature, in this case it's Alice in Wonderland that Victor Vile is trying to sabotage. You must use the agency issued Fictionizer to enter the literary world, and guide Alice in Wonderland. You will meet all of the classic favorites, the White Rabbit and even the Cheshire Cat. The graphics are cartoonish, but very appealing, and the game itself is very easy, keep in mind that this game is designed for the kids. The Hidden Object Scenes are at times difficult because some of the items are partially hidden or near the edges of the screen. There are several tasks to complete, and a ton of simple but entertaining Mini Games. Hurry, don't be late, enjoy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I had hoped for.. This game was a bit of a disappointment. I thought perhaps it woukd be like the other fictions fixers: curse of oz, but it was just not as good and was VERY short. Was not worth the game credit I spent on it. Don't get me wrong, the graphics were wonderful.. the voice overs were good, the story line rocked.. but somehow it just seemed to be missing something and was not really fun to play at all. Also, it took me only 3 hours to complete it and that was including the time I racked up from using the skip button for a few puzzles. I think with each skip you got 10 minutes added onto your time so I would think took me about two hours to finish. Unless you are a kid, you will not enjoy this one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Frustrating Whimsy I love Alice in Wonderland and the graphics for this game are a great fit for the story. Whimsical, cartoonish and fun. The characters are adorable. You follow Alice into Wonderland and help her fix problems caused by an Illiterati agent, who's trying to take magic from Wonderland for himself. This game is a good mix of puzzles, mini games and hidden object scenes. Graphics: Cute and fun overall, however, too blurry and dark for most HO scenes. I hardly ever use hints and I had to repeatedly use them to find items. I don't enjoy my HO games with a side of eye strain. Music: Fit with the story and didn't bother me at all. I hardly noticed it so it must have worked. Length: It will take a few hours to play, maybe around 4 or 5 if you don't skip anything. Challenge: Some of the puzzles and mini games are challenging; most are fairly simple. I did skip the lobster ocean game after my trampoline repeatedly got stuck and wouldn't move, letting the lobster fall on the ground, and thus restarting the level. No fun. The croquet game can be challenging as well. Just know that when you click the skip button, you only get to skip the course, not the whole mini game. Using a skip will add 10 minutes to your play time (in case you keep track of that). Play Again: When I need a wonderland fix, but if I want a simple go to game, this won't be it. A little too frustrating with some of the games and the hard to see HO scenes. This would be a great game for a child/tween. While some puzzles will pose a challenge, they will enjoy the game play and storyline. Overall: C (I would purchase as a DD only)
