Crossworlds: The Flying City is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from A game that went 'splat!' This game had excellent potential but maybe the developers put it out too soon because it went 'splat' Like an egg hitting the floor. No omelet just mess. Lots of going back and forth to the same scenes. The weirdo aliens were an interesting addition until you find that you do not know what to do with them. I do not usually bother with hints and strategies but I must admit this game sent me there a few times. Why did I purchase it? I think it was on sale - that figures.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Crossworlds Review based on 30 min of demo (could not take it anymore) no vos no hint system except in the ho scenes music bearable no real direction you have to hunt and search... almost like a scavenger hunt some items so small cannot see them graphics old school and flat phantasmagoria is still better than this game for those who don't remember windows 95 and when 256 was high graphics this game is not even that good but that is just my opinion no pros that i can think of...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could be much better... A good story (traveling through different dimensions),... but ...failed to develop a good game! Could be much more interesting and less tiring, Only few things to do in each place each time you enter, then you have to keep moving back and forth (sometimes by car - and do the same thing over and over again: put the key, start the car, move the gear stick and accelerate). Scenes of HOS are repetitive and some things are so tiny... and sometimes even the same color as the background, ...! Impossible to see (like the gnome!). After half an hour I was with eyes burning with so much effort to see, tired of coming and going to the same places.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This Game Stinks What a horrible game. The HOS's are minute and the transitions are awful. A waste of time and money

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nope -- Not for Me! Based on 15 minutes of the demo I was so frustrated I just couldn't go on. I guess I was actually a little angry at some of the senseless things I did. One scene has a bookcase with lots of books. A little eye shows you need to look -- you look and the page is blank. I must have done this to a dozen books -- all blank. Finally the last book has something but you don't know what it is and there was no dialogue to tell you what should go there. The next thing that really made me angry was in the same room in the HOS where there was a white candle on a white window sill -- you absolutely couldn't see it. The next that happened was, using the hint again to find a bug, I was pointed to a drawer that I had opened earlier and it was empty -- now it had a bug in it. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, fool me thrice and I won't buy your game! Play the demo and read some reviews. For me it's a no buy and I certainly don't recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from frustrating NOT fun muddled through but have to agree with another reviewer, it was confusing and while hidden objects are to be 'hidden' - I did not like how they were practically invisible blending into the background color not really 'hidden' more just plain not able to see. A lot of pointless clicking. Sorry Big Fish you won't get my $2.99 for this one.
